Live Mail hung up sending messages
I have two messages hung in the OUTPUT area. All I see is the status area that says 'Send 2 messages' and 'run '. I can't delete these messages and I can't access any other part of the Live Mail now.
There is no error message shown in the "Errors" tab
I closed the application by using the Task Manager, but everytime I open Live Mail, I'm right back to the same point.
Live Mail was "running" now for over an hour.
How can I stop/bypass/interruption this process so I can access my email again accounts?
Check to work offline and then see if you can delete messages in the Outbox. If this fails, please ask the Windows Live Mail Forum
This seems to be a common problem in these days. I just spent an extra hour or on chat live with Comcast and straightened a few things here. I can now send and receive on the Web through Comcast. but can't send on Live Mail.
The outgoing Comcast server requires authentication.
Make sure you check the box "outgoing server requires authentication" and then enter your e-mail address from Comcast and password as the 'account name' and 'password'. See these directions--> http://www.cox.com/business/tulsa/support/data/article.cox?articleId=99fead40-6c21-11e0-4e73-000000000000

Window live mail will not recover messages unless I restart my pc. If I reboot and then open direct mail all right, but if I wait a few hours (perhaps a shorter time...) I do not know) and try to retrieve the messages it just hinders is when extracting them... I get no error message, it's just trying to get back the message without success. If I then reboot my pc, direct mail works (until next time).

Sounds like a common problem. When the transmission of the images I get "one or several pictures in this message could not be found.» Photos will not be included. Of course you want to send msg?
I was told to make sure that all of the updates were up-to-date. A. photos sent for a short time, now the problem is back.

Hi, I have Windows several live accounts and it gives me problems. I can't send or receive mail, the error message is.Can't send or receive messages on behalf of Maureens cakes. Windows Live Mail could not open a session secure e-mail server using password authentication. Contact your e-mail provider and verify that it supports secure password authentication. To change the connection setting, in the folder list, right-click on the account name, and then click Properties on the shortcut menu. In the Properties dialog box, click on the servers tab, and then under incoming mail server, select a logon option. The response from the server:.
Server: 'mail.btinternet.com '.
Windows Live Mail error ID: 0x800CCC18
Secure (SSL): No.
I checked the properties of other accounts and they are all identical as secure password authentication is unchecked, but is clear text authentication. Any ideas? Thank you very much

How can I get my Windows Live Mail to begin to send emails again? He had been working well for years until yesterday. I get this error message:
The connection to the server has failed.
Subject 'Test '.
Windows Live Mail error ID: 0x800CCC0E
Secure (SSL): No.
Socket error: 10060
Thanks for your help. I found the solution on the Comcast Xfinity support page. It was just a question of the evolution of port 25 to port 465.
Apparently, they have sent messages to customers, but most of us have seen as SPAM and ignored.
In the Live Mail has not been able to send photos to the photo gallery for some reason any when you send a photo of the last week, he continues to try and upload the photo to locks and onedrive live mail. Most of the time I got out of the lock by using the Task Manager, yesterday, it doesn't work either. Had to go to my email provider and change my password and then re connect to live mail. Same problem today so I have created a Gmail and live mail-related so I could send pictures. I also downloaded picasa3 to manage my photos. I'm the only one having this problem and if not what have others done. Apparently, Microsoft does not make something to solve the problem. Thank you

This may be due to having some settings incorrectly set for the account, check if all people.
BTs support page - !-mail-problems%3A-error-code-0x800ccc90---client-response-invalid http://bt.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/800/~/bt-yahoo that this code (a bit old so it may be a patch somewhere) gives at least to double check.
If you go to the BTs Web page for his email in your browser, can connect to your email it using the same user name and password? It will prove that BT always considers your name and password is the same as you think it is i.e. someones not hacked into and changed it.
NOTE: make note of what you change, so you can reset properly IF it does not help.
My old email BT used to sometimes fail like this, and after a while he came back. Unless this happened already for a day or two, it is best to wait until tomorrow to see if its fixed as if by magic (server problem to maybe BT?), and if its still not to ask BT on their forum as well - https://community.bt.com/t5/Email-and-Apps/ct-p/EmailandApps
Hello, I am computer technology in our office. I have four new desktops Windows7 Pro 64-bit at the office, I try to get Windows Live Mail works on. I can receive messages but not send mail. I use the standard port 25 SMTP outgoing; port 110 POP3 for incoming. The e-mail account is fine (accesscomm.ca) and have used it for years. I get the error on the attempt to send TCP. Just for something else to try, I used the same account settings on an HP that has Windows7 32 bit laptop and it worked fine! So is there something specific to the 64-bit version, or is there anything else to check? I have disabled the Windows Firewall and UAC.
Well, well, well. I removed McAfee Virus Scan Enterprise 8.7.0i worm and can send very well now.
Started getting an error on Windows Live Mail message when I try to send an email, saying that it cannot connect to my server which is Comcast.net. I used a few days ago and it worked fine in the same place. He still receives send without any problem.
It is very difficult for see us to help without you ad the error you, but I'll take a stab at it.
