• Live Photos appears does not automatically on Mac... ?

  I have some live Photos on my iPhone. I imported my Mac in picture 1.5 but when I surfed through them they appear only as static. There is a small direct button in the left corner of the button of these pictures animating them in a video, but it must be manually pressed.

  I recently imported photos from my iphone to my Mac using photos for OSX app. But after graduating successfully imported it shows me two different elements i.e. photo itself & a short video. So for my 300 live photos it's show me 300 photos and 300 videos.

  So why it shows two different files, I suppose, that it should show only direct photo because it shows on my iPhone.

  I also tried to repair the library command to open the photos app, but it did not work. Help, please!

  where are you seeing the two files?

  If you really have OS X 10.10.1 and Photos 1.0 as you say then that's the problem - you are updated to eleven or twelve behind and these updates included support Live Photo - you must upgrade to El Captain OS X 10.11.6 and Photos 1.5

  Hi all

  im hoping someone can explain the behavior of photos in Imovie...

  I have a Macbook Pro and I created an album on photos called any vacation 1500 of my pictures/videos. My Mac is configured to record the full versions.

  Ive then went into iMovie (Mac) to create a movie of my holiday, but when I go into my 'holiday' album he sees only 500 or more. Why is this? I thought that he had read the photos/videos from my drive hard mac this is not the case?  Is it because iphotos has not downloaded all the photos and movies on iCloud yet? I assumed that because I imported in the photos on my mac and I can see all the photos that they would all appear automatically in iMovie to use.

  I hope I think, basically, I want to see all movies/photos in the iPhoto album in my album of iMovie.

  Album?  Do you mean that you have created a library of Photos called "vacation"?

  iMovie should show you all the photos in your photo library in the system.

  Is the library of holiday pictures activated as your system photo library in pictures preferences > General?  'Use as a Photo library system' should be greyed out.

  After you import photos, the Photos.app will need time to create previews for the media browser. You can simply keep the pictures running that slightly longer wile you are not using, to complete the rendering of previews.

• iPhoto/missing Photos to iMovie ' 08 library

  I am currently using iMovie ' 08 to edit video and add an image overlay. However, when I go to the photo browser, it shows me only Photo Booth and there is no option to import photos from anywhere else. I use OS X El Capitan and photographs. 1,5. Please indicate how do I import an image in this scenario?

  iMovie ' 08 has not been updated to be fully compatible with El Capitan. It cannot display the photo library.

  If you want to use the media to your Photos library iMovie 10.1.2 update browser.

  In the latest version of iMovie, you will be able to see your photo library in the media of iMovie project.

  

  Same iMovie 11, version 9.0.9 cannot display the photo library.

  I don't know when this happened, possibly after the most recent update, but most of my Live Photos made of short clips of second 3. Nobody knows how to solve this problem/restore clips in photos?   The iMovie version you are using is not fully compatible with El Capitan.  Problems like the one you mentioned frequently have been reported.

  There is no solution for it.  Your solution is upgraded to the current version, iMovie 10.1.2.

• How can I change the length of a photo in iMovie? I can't drag the edge because the cursor is red.

  I have a problem in iMovie 10.1.2.  I can no longer select a photo and to extend its length, i.e. from 3 seconds to 4 seconds. My cursor is red and I can't return the normal cursor.

  To change the length (duration) of a photo in iMovie 10.1.1 (latest version), select the photo in the timeline panel, and then click the Info button in the toolbar at the top of your screen.  It is one that has an 'i' with a circle around it.   On the right, you will see a box of duration.  Type in the length you want and press return on your keyboard.

  Another way is to expand the line of time slightly with the cursor located above the timeline and right next to the settings button.  Then, you can select the photo and drag his edge to extend.

• Select a single image of a Live Photo Webcam

  I accidentally turned on Live Photos.  I have a dozen of them.  I want to choose the best picture of each of them and to keep only that frame.  I know how to do this with gusts of photos, but how do you go with Photo Live?  Thank you.

  I understand that you want to select the best image of Live Photos you've imported into the application Photos of your MacBook Pro. I use my iPhone to take pictures all the time and I can help you.

  For now, it is not possible to select individual images in a Photo to live as you can picture out loud.

  I went to tools, Options, attachments and there are associated programs that should be able to open files - Windows Live Photo gallery for the Microsoft Excel for excel files and JPG files. I actually download and save the files and then open them. Is there any solution for this?

  Go back and delete associations and start again by opening one of these files. Thunderbird will recreate the Scriptures based on your choices and they will then probably work.

I come back from my holiday with my family and I took a lot of photos using "live photo.  However, I made the mistake of import in the opening and removing the photos during import.  So now at the opening, I have photos and a Mov file for each photo direct. I am aware that this is how living photo work is essentially an image jpeg and mov, but how I recombine on my phone or the Photos app on mac?

  Live photos are a new feature and does not work with an opening (a former and abandoned program) - they work with Photos (the latest version is 1.5 with OS X 10.11.5)

  You are using an older version of iMovie?  Only version 10.1.1 or later handles still photos correctly under El Capitan.

• How do you get photos in IMovie to IOS iPad Pro?

  After choosing a movie model and by typing create I can't open the photos to select in the edit page.  First videos show, but there seems to be no way to move on to the photos.  The only way seems to be tapping on pictures of Word in the instructions, then my albums list is finally shown in the right column.  However, when I type a photo album iMovie crashes completely and I have to close the app and restart.  I am new to iMovie and just try to understand it, but so far, select the photo (or even video) seems to be dysfunctional.  Any instructions or advice would be appreciated.

  Sounds like you are doing right, but it is a bug that prevents you to access the file. Could be a thing of memory system or compatibility with a particular file.  You can let the developers know here: http://www.apple.com/feedback/imovie_ios.html
