  The content of the above mentioned article is as follows:

  Setting up the Shared Services environment has been configured with multiple external directories. The native directory is the latest in the search order, and a few users (including the ' admin') names exist both an external directory and the native.

  When the user "admin" exists in several vendors, and an appropriate external service provider is defined in the search before native Directory order, the external user "admin" will be invoked. When "admin" connects to the workspace, the system will see first external 'admin' and will authenticate this user instead of the intended one Native. When this "admin" user tries to open EN reports, required in the HRInternal folder (in the file system) access will be denied. Therefore, the report opens blank.

  This is addressed in new BUG 10247788 - can't RUN EN REPORTS IN WORKSPACE AFTER APPLICATION of 11.1.2.0.04
  Solution
  Change the order of search of the directories of Shared Services in order to first define native directory.

  To change the search order:
  a. start the Shared Services Console.
  b. Select and then configure the users directories.
  c. in the defined Directory screen, select the Native directory.
  d. click on 'Up' as many times as necessary until it is the first in the search order.
  e. click Save.

  To make the changes take effect, the Foundation of Hyperion Service must be restarted (and all other services of EPM as well).

• Reader crashes when opening the pdf while UAC elevation

  Hello

  I'm a developer who has a package installer for our software which, of course, requires UAC elevation to perform the installation.

  On the last screen of the installer, we try to give the user the possibility to open a .pdf of our user manual.  Any other than .pdf format works very well, but Adobe Reader will not open, and once this has happened, Adobe Reader does not work at all until the user opens a session and return to.

  Comments of the vendor of the package install (Setup factory):

If you perform the same script from a facility that has been manifested to run "as applicant", you will see the PDF document opens correctly, which suggests that there is some kind of problem with the Adobe sandbox.   I'm not saying that it was designed to work that way, or that everything is fine. But it can be good for you (and me) to review, it's a good idea to run Adobe Reader unnecessarily high. Similar considerations apply to the choice that many installers are doing "run applications now?" at the end.

• Remove the component tools preferably set when opening the PDF documents

  I was unable to locate a permanent function of Hide to hide "Tools Pane" overall upward.  I don't want all the icon tools displayed every time I open a PDF document. I want to just look at a full page of the document on screen and access the tools if and when I need them.

  If you are using the latest version of Reader (Acrobat Reader DC), you can do the following:

  1. go in the Edit menu. then Preferences..., select the 'Documents' category on the left (the second from the top) and in the right, uncheck "pane open tools for each document. Press OK to dismiss the preferences pane.

  2. then open any PDF file and hide the pane tools by SHIFT + F4 or by clicking on the thin partition between the page and the tool pane.

  3 close the player.

  In the next time on when you use the drive, you do not see the tool pane. You can still get it by clicking on the thin margin to the right of the display of the page (where the Tools pane will remain hidden) and activate it by activating the preference above again permanently.

When I start the Console of Essbase Administration Services, I get the next error * "error - 1042006 - network [111]: unable to connect to [localhost:1423]." The customer has expired waiting to connect to Essbase Agent using the TCP/IP protocol. Check your network connections.   Follow the steps below.

  * 1. Open the Windows registry (Start--> Run--> RegEdit). *

  * 2. Go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\TCPIP\Parameters.*

  * 3. Add new DWORD value named "TcpTimedWaitDelay."
  -Right click and select Edit
  -Select "Décimal" radio button, type 30.

  * 4. Add new DWORD value named "MaxUserPort."
  -Right click and select Edit
  -Select "Décimal" radio button, type 65534

  * 5. A restart of the server (reboot the Hyperion related Services) is cas.*

• Date fields and time to autopopulate when opening the PDF

  I have an interactive PDF form with many fields. Two of them are the date and time. Users want that date fields and the time to complete the form to the current date and time (let's call it 'generic form') is open to fill. When they are made by filling out the form, they need to be activated for the reader so they can save it under a different name (Information of Dave). If they reopen "Information of Dave" for some reason, the date and time must not change. If they open the generic form for another client, then the new date and time should appear. I saw a discussion for Javascript to auto to a date, but not an hour. My Javascript skills are limited, so be specific enough about where to put the code.

  Work on a Mac on Snow Leopard using Acrobat Pro 10.1.7.

  Example events that can be used

  Any initialization of field...

  form: ready

  layout: ready

  docReady (is probably best for your purpose)

  Remember each event behaves differently and at different times, and a few bubbles - for your application described, I would use the docReady event

  Please let us know point of application Adobe version and OS you are using.

  You aren't able to open all the PDF?

  Try to disable the protected mode at the beginning upward. Go to the Edit menu > Preferences > Security (enhanced) and uncheck the box for 'enable protected at the beginning upward mode '.

  His pdf due to large size that causes this problem. You can try to reduce the size of the pdf file (using Acrobat |) Optimization of PDF files ) & then try to print.
