LJ 1536 and Wireless Bridge: prints and scans but lost connection Toobox ePrint

I connected my 1536dnf LaserJet recently purchased by the Ethernet cable to a bridge wireless to allow printing and scanning from my wireless laptop. It works very well. However, for some reason any communication is no longer with the printer through box HP tools or ePrint, who both worked very well to install. My router main displays the address IP of the LJ 1536 as a connected device. Somehow, the bridge becomes a way? There not at the beginning. Is there anything else that could prevent these kinds of communication but not printing/scanning? Is there a setting to resolve that I've not found? I tried to put the default gateway of the LaserJet printer for the IP address of the gateway instead of the router, but that did not help. Thanks in advance for any advice.

Hey dako,.

I would bypass the wireless bridge to see if it is causing the problem. Let me know what you find?

I have a HP Officejet 6500 has more.  It allows to print and scan but the copies are to come in white.

Hey, here's a link for y our question, it says empty and white scans copies, but it breaks down in their own separate headings, here is the link: http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c03111687

If that does not help the problem, a sequel to the above listed link I would do a hard rest is: while the printer is on, pull on the power cord to the printer and the wall. After 30 seconds reconnect power to the wall and printer. This will trigger a 'dirty power upwards' and restoring the printer to a State well known (if possible). No user settings are lost with a "hard reset." I'm pulling directly the instructions for this process of a hardware instruction guide. I'm sticking to it would have shown here Word for Word. • Windows Fax and Scan do not connect to fax

Recently installed Windows 7 Home Premium. Trying to get Windows Fax and Scan to fax in my HP Officejet J4580 multifunction device. Install the HP drivers, printer and scanner work OK and fax device appears under devices and printers. With the device on and in Fax Setup, select 'Connect to a Fax Modem' generates an error: "an error has occurred. Please try the operation again later or contact your administrator. "It's strange because the fax device appears to be installed correctly and is recognized by Windows.

How can I get Windows Fax and Scan to recognize and connect to the fax?

Windows 7 set my printer and fax as separate devices (HP C6180 all-in-One) - should also ensure that the fax was NOT DESIGNATED as a PRINTER in the dropdown under printer properties - you can have the same problem in reverse...

  • Problem with Windows Fax and Scan does not connect to the Internal Modem

Just got a new Acer Aspire 5542-5416 computer laptop with Windows 7 64 bit Home Premium, 4 GB of Ram and a 320 GB hard drive. It has a 56 k modem integrated fax of like the old days, but I can't make it work. The laptop did not come with the Windows CD.

If I open the program Windows Fax and Scan, it is not able to connect to the modem. Basically, if I click on tools > fax accounts > Add..., I get a box with 2 choices: to connect to a fax modem or connect to a fax on my network server. When I want to connect a fax modem I get a message that says: an error has occurred. Please, try the operation again later or contact your administrator. It allows me to do this then just clock OK and them I'm right where I started.

While in Windows Fax and Scan, if I click on tools > fax settings... nothing happens. No menu settings or anything ever appears. Quite simply, the program does nothing. If I try tools > Fax Status Monitor... I get a box that says entrance exam status, ready to receive a fax. It has a blue progress bar as something takes over, but it gets about 1/100 to and never goes further or ends. There is no box, but there are 3 buttons: view details, answer call or cancel. If I hit details, I get an empty list. If I click on answer call I get an error that says that the fax service is not available.

If I try tools > Options, general tab has only a single option box is checked: play a sound when come it to new messages. If I try to print a Word or PDF file to a fax using Fax in the printer list, I get the same box with 2 choices: to connect to a fax modem or connect to a fax on my network server, but I get the same error message: an error has occurred. Please, try the operation again later or contact your administrator.

I've searched the Internet high and low for a solution but no luck. There is a lot of discussion about this problem, but none of the solutions work for me. If I go to Device Manager, the modem is working properly and if I click on the Modem query on the Diagnostics tab, it seems to be able to communicate with the modem very well. I tried to roll back the driver and updated again and still no luck, same problem. If I go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Fax\Accounts in the registry, there is no subkeys under the folder accounts I can delete.

Has anyone else had a similar problem? Is there any solution for this? I did a Windows Update last night and has not yet solve it. Thank you.

    Sorry about that.

    Hello

    Welcome to the Microsoft community.

I see that you are unable to connect to another printer/fax/scan machine.

To help you with this issue, I would need more information:

    1. you are connected as a guest account?

    2. are you connected to a domain network?

    3. What is the full error message?

Please return with the necessary details so that we can help you better.

  • HP8600 can print on network, but may not use ePrint or install updates

    Hi all

I have a HP 8600 Pro A-I-O printer connected wireless to my network using a static IP address.

When it comes to printing, I have no problem. Until a few days ago, I had to restart the printer every day because it seemed to lose network connectivity. However, once I manually configure a static IP address that problem has disappeared.

My problem is twofold. But, I'm sure they have a root cause, that's what I turn on the forums to resolve.

    1. When you log on the Server Web integrated, the ePrint shows my printer (with IP address) box, and then a red X, and then click the eprint. It is said that ePrint is on. I then page details.

Here, it shows ePrint on and Apps. But it shows a big red X between the printer icons and ePrint and propose a fix of this link.

When I entered the patch from this link, it will attempt to connect to the server and then returns cannot connect to the server.

It is a basic home network connected to the Comcast/Xfinity cable, you use a Netgear WNR834b router connected by modem cable BEE. There is no proxy involved server.

When you configure my IP information I used the DNS of Comcast (75.75.75.75) server and the DNS (8.8.8.8) Google Server, so to leave it blank. However, none of them solve the problem.

FWIW: WINS is enabled under advanced network settings. However, it has no IP address configured for WINS. Would it be the cause of the problem?

My network consists of a computer laptop Windows 7, Ubuntu 14.04 dasktop (not on all the time), the HP8600 and various devices based on Android.

    Any suggestions?

    Thank you

    Robert

OK, so I 'think' I hae the problem solved. It seems that the default gateway setting if necessary, be set to the IP address of the router, not the IP provided by Comcast/Xfinity. I wish this was a little more clear in the documentation.

Once I changed to the same as the router, I could download and update the printer; and ePrint seems to be online.

Now, I have a strange situation where the boxes of the printer status and ink level status are red, with no info on the EWS page. But, given that the original issue seems to be resolved, I this will mark as resolved.

However, the XP laptop sees about 10 networks wirelss in screen 2 wireless network connection, but not ours.
Here's what I've tried so far:
    -Tried to restart the router

  • HP4500. Wireless: Wireless HP4500 - prints Test Page but nothing else

I just bought my first iMac.  I also have a HP (Windows) laptop connected wireless to a HP Officejet 4500 Wireless printer/fax combination for work.  For the new iMac, I loaded the software from the HP drive.  The test page printed beautifully, but nothing prints.  No e-mail, not a word processor file, nothing.  I have tried the uninstall / reboot / reinstall way nothing helps.  I saw the instructions to configure a static IP address, but I'm not sure what could do to my current computer-printer link.  Any suggestions?

Unfortunately, I am not sure I can reproduce the steps but I finally got my printer to work.  I had to install a new driver from HP and Hello "Multifunction" from Apple.  After several reboots, the printer works now.  Sheesh!
