LJ LJ MFP M225rdn Pro: Pro MFP M225rdn - reset to factory settings?

I've been setting up a new MFP M225rdn. Once I changed the vacuum to HQ4cji0ZzzMs9DR5e2 administrator password - I can not connect anymore. What are the limitations of password, and how it reset to the factory settings?

Looks like symbols max accepts the password is 16 characters, I just removed the last 2 characters and was able to open a session.

    Hello

I tried upgrading my installation of Windows 7 Professional to Windows 7 ultimate. I ended up format the partition and now Windows will not load and the installation hangs right on 0%. I don't have a disc of recovery for this laptop, is it possible to access the recovery partition on this laptp to reset to factory settings or a restore CD I can order and it will work?

    The laptop is a Toshiba Satellite Pro L450D - 12 X

    Hey Buddy,

If you have already formatted the Windows partition, you are not able to start the recovery of HARD drive more. Also there is no possibility to access the recovery files and start them, so the pre-installed operating system is necessary.

The only option you have is Toshiba recovery disc. Only with this drive, you can restore the original settings of the box but I m wondering why you have n t a. It s mentioned in the user manual you have to create yourself

In any case, just order a disc here and be happy ;)

  • Satellite Pro P200-1JV - how to reset to factory settings?

    Hello

I'm trying to reset my Satellite Pro P200-1JV to factory settings. I tried pressing reset and turn on, also tried pressing F8 and turn on and no system recovery doesn't happen as I was told that it should.

I put everything in place of discs with it and it's a Vista operating system.

    Help, please!

    Thank you!

    Hi alanmanley,

Why you press the zero key to restore factory settings?
You can restore the factory settings if you go into the advanced Windows (F8) boot menu and select Repair my computer. Then will begin the recovery of HARD drive and reinstall Windows.

In addition, this option is available on OS preinstalled Toshiba and the recovery disc, that you create yourself as mentioned in the user manual.

    > Is it possible to reset to factory settings complete with recovery or partition without a name?

In General, you have two options:
Either you try to retrieve the laptop using recovery disk as described here:
    http://APS2.toshiba-tro.de/KB0/HTD1303440001R01.htm
or you will recover the laptop using the Toshiba Recovery disk which you likely has not been created in the past using Toshiba Recovery Media Creator. Right.

Well, if the recovery of HARD drive does not work (whatever the reason), then you must use the recovery disc. If recover disk has not been created in the past, you can order the CD here:

  • MacBook pro restore to factory settings

I have a Macbook Pro El Capitan 10.11.3 running late 2011. It's a 13 ", processor 2.4 GHz, Intel Core 15. Has 4 GB of memory. Intel HD Graphics 3000, 384 MB. I got water on it and it wouldn't start so I bought a new Macbook Pro. I removed the back and let it dry, and after several months, it works again. Now, I would use it for guests at the House of the Lake and as a return for me. I want to return to the factory settings, but then set up again for my use. I see some suggestions for people who are to sell or give their laptops, but I want to keep mine and didn't know if I would be able to set up using my same Apple ID, etc.

Yes, you will be. Since you keep the computer, you can restart it with the command and R keys, erase the existing system and install a new.

Help because I need it for work...

You do one of 2 things @Chelle007, you can reset the printer back to the factory settings and set up again, or you can connect the printer to the computer or router Ethernet cable and use the wired IP address to access the Web integrated (Embedded Web Server) server. If you choose to install an Ethernet cable, go to the network settings on the front panel of the printer to get the IP address. Enter the IP address in a Web browser, and when the printer page opens, you can go to settings. You will be able to reactivate it. Please do not forget to select each element one at a time instead of select allow all, because if you turn on all you will lock the front panel.

If you are unable to do so, or rather do the simple reset check your Inbox for instructions.

There are a growing number of messages in this forum and elsewhere in the internet with the steps to do a reset on different printers.  Reset to will sometimes fix problems, so resetting is not the issue.

A few resets require you to enter key combinations to open special menus on your printer that you were supposed to never access.  These special menus are used by developers and staff support for debugging of problems, but they are not intended for inexperienced users and can have unexpected results.  A wrong button push and you might no longer have a printer, but rather an expensive paper weight.  On top of that, if you happen to the 'brick' the printer in this way, it is considered as customer induced damage and voids the warranty automatically. These resets are only intended to be distributed and used as a last resort and under the direct instruction of a representative of the HP technical support. They should not be made lightly!

  • Satellite Pro C660 - restore to factory settings

    Hello.

    I have a Toshiba Satellite Pro C660.

I have some problems with this computer and I intend to sell it.
I want to set the computer to how it was when I took it out of the box.

I read a lot of popular advice on that. I tried holding 0, which do not work. I entered in the system by pressing f8. I get a screen when I get options on what I want to do with my computer, but it is not an option that allows me to look again at 'out of the box"State.
What I read, this option is supposed to be here.
I have no restore disk as laptop did not come with one.
    I am running to options

    Can anyone help?

    Thank you

    Laura

    Hi Laura

What you want to do is HARD recovery disk image installation and it works as described in the
    http://APS2.toshiba-tro.de/KB0/HTD1303440001R02.htm

To be clear: this works if your laptop is always the factory settings. If your laptop is preinstalled with the clean version of the OS option repair your computer will not be available more.

Problem is that this situation can be avoided if the owner of the laptop has created the installation disc of recovery following the instructions described in the user s manuals document. I presume you didn't create this disc.

Now, there is only one option to get the original on your machine settings: you need to order the original disc of recovery for your laptop model and you can do it on https://backupmedia.toshiba.eu/landing.aspx

Or you can remove all the important data of your machine and sell with actual configuration.

  • Surface Pro 128GB - restore/Reset does not see partition recovery (broken)

Restore/Reset rpet files are missing when you try to do a factory reset. I can see the partition it in disk management, but that's all. Using diskpart I assigned a disk and copy the 3 files in the directory "RecoveryImage" offshore on a USB key. They are:

    "CreatePartition - UEFI.cmd.

    Hello!

After some time to research and try a lot of things (this is where the first thread, I found about this), I found a simple and easy solution here: http://directaccess.richardhicks.com/2013/06/14/directaccess-on-the-microsoft-surface-pro/

    Steps to follow:

    1. make sure that the recovery drive has a letter (use diskpart)

    2 run the following:

    REAgentC.exe/setosimage/Path C:\Windows /index D:\RecoveryImage\/Target 1

3 try to restore to factory settings / all delete and install new

It worked for me, maybe someone who's looking for an answer will be able to do it now. Would also be great if it can answer to this question, because the negotiation for a new device is a lot more work than running a simple command :)
