  Ramesh, I tried a number of things, including things you suggested and now it works - for your information, I could see in Solution Explorer and I think that the most important thing it is never said anything about the implementation of the pilot.  On my wife's Vista computer it came normal for all our cameras and phone.  Which is rare for Vista, generally most of our problems with it - once again thanks for the help.

  a. Select all the photos on the desktop, right click and then click on cut.

  b. open the location where you want to store the copy.

  c. right click on an empty space within the location and then click Paste. The copy of the original file is now stored in the new location.

  Twice a year or I backup photos/videos from my iPhone by plugging my phone in my computer, it opens Windows Explorer and manually copy and paste all the photo on my computer folders. This time, however, I accidentally cut and paste instead of copy and paste, so I actually deleted all of my pictures and videos from my phone and they settled on my computer.

  No easy solution for this one. Dropbox, Google Drive or similar forms as you mentioned, probably the one at the same time, the emailing for yourself, worse yet, or maybe put them on a flash drive and find a friend with a Mac. You could then drop them - a little faster but still plenty of time for 1,000 pictures. You can also try App of Lenovo, SHAREit. It works on iOS and PC as well, perhaps a little better but not as good as Airdrop. Otherwise, you're stuck with the iTunes sync.   Your post is the 4th now ask about the same problem. One user solves the problem by connecting the phone to a different USB port on the computer. You might want to try it.

  I have a HP Officejet Pro 8500 has.  I use the sd card reader to upload my pictures on the desktop.  As soon as I inserted the card, the printer would automatically open on the screen and ask me if I want to view, analyze everything first, or whatever.  Suddenly, he stopped to do all this.  Now as soon as I insert the card, the printer asks me if I want to view & print, create or reprint.  It will not send the photos on the card to the computer.

  I see that you have problems to download the pictures from the SD card to the computer. I would like to help you today.

  I would like to do a hard reset to see if that will solve the problem.
  Let the printer and disconnect the printer cable and the wall socket for 60 seconds.
  Reconnect the power cable to the output of the printer and the wall, and not a surge protector.
  This ensures that the printer is full on and can help this situation.

  If you have another SD card, try it also, just to rule out the SD card.

  Power cycle the router, restart the computer and the printer.

  Try to download the photos again.

  Update the firmware of the printer, if you still have problems. HP Officejet Pro Firmware.
