Loading plan

Hello

I use a mapView in my application, but I noticed - espically in OS 10.2.1 - which the mapView takes awhile to load up (in some cases more than 30 seconds) so I was wondering if it would be possible to have a loading indicator of activity should be displayed when the map is open?

The mapView gets opened by a spreadsheet.

import bb.cascades 1.0
import bb.cascades.maps 1.0

Sheet {
    id: mapSheet
    property alias mapLat: mapView.latitude
    property alias mapLon: mapView.longitude
    peekEnabled: false

    Page {
        titleBar: TitleBar {
            title: qsTr("Map")
            dismissAction: ActionItem {
                title: "Close"
                onTriggered: {
                    mapSheet.close()
                }
            }
        }
        Container {
            MapView {
                id: mapView
                altitude: 1550000

            }
        }
    }
}

Currently, there is not any signal apparently to hang this off to take a look at this thread for some sort of workaround...

  • Load plans being run/Scheduling command line ODI

    Here's our scenario

    (1) we have a several load plans that move on different schedules. These changes of schedules each month. For example, we have a defined business window (usually end of month process) which changes from month to month. This business window set is stored in a custom table.

    (2) in this window, we run load is considering either once a day or every hour or just only once in this window, etc.

    I looked in the Plan charge hourly, but that wasn't our goal because of the complexity in date, time, and frequency. Also, we do not have any third party planner. I think to launch Plans to load a command line (. / startloadplan.sh) using a programming language (PL/SQL or Unix script)

    However, I am struggling to find how can I reach annex to a charge by command line plan? for example if I want to execute the plan to charge for the next 3 days every hour, how can say I do it through command line?

    Any suggestions would be very helpful.

    You can simply create a schedule like that unfortunately. The schedule should be attached to the repository, then the agent must be updated.

    What you could do, is add a script using the SDK of ODI. Chantal Mangano wrote a great blog about this (ODI11g): http://dwteam.in/scheduling-in-odi-using-sdk/

  • Displays only support Plans in the 'load Plans & scenarios' possible?

    Hi fellow ODI.

    I was wondering if there is a feature in the ODI to hide all the scenarios generated in the 'load and scenarios tab Plan' in the browser designer.

    The reason I ask is because I have several batch processes in ODI with several packs a lot. Each packages are compiled in a scenario which I use to control the flow (through the load Plan)

    Unfortunately, there are already too many scenarios in the 'load and tab Plan scenarios' and I only want to see support Plans. Please let me know if there is a function that allows me to see the Plans to charge only in ODI. It would be really cool if there is something like that.

    Kind regards
    Dave Null

    Hello
    You can't turn them off as such, but you can use folders to categorize how ever you like, a folder for charge plans (or leave them at the root) and hide all the scenarios in subfolders. Easier on the eyes.

    (3) I'm tempted to the name of user and password string / JDBC hardcode in the ODI topology manager and kickoff of work load here. Do you see any risk in doing this?

    Any pointer/suggestion will be highly appreciated.

  • 11.1.2.3 - data loading planning?

    Hello

    Another question from newbie - beginner to 11.1.2.3 for which generous points are once more available; I checked the manuals for 11.1.2.3. but do not believe they have removed this feature available in earlier versions of the planning, can someone confirm please?

    In the previous version of the planning (10.x) he used to be a GUI tool based which facilitated the data and mapping the data transformations for easy loading of data in Hyperion Planning without using a tool such as the ODI via flat files or table of database (no disorders, built around Hyperion 'API') from other sources.

    Is it equivalent to 11.1.2.3. and if so someone can tell me the navigation path please?

    As said I have reviewed manuals and as said I don't think I'm following = > load utility contour, FDM Data Integrator adapter, architect of Management Performance.

    But it may be "planning hierarchical Load", can anyone confirm if this is the case (the manual is sketchy to say the least) and if so provide path navigation or even better, a link to a simple example...

    n. b. I keep loads of metadata (members, properties members, parent / child et al) and balance data (balances in cubes loading).

    If it isn't available in Hyperion Planning the form I describe there is no reason NOT to apply the rules of loading EAS to manage data and load balances?

    Thank you very much

    Robert.

    You could try to launch the Foundation > configure the web server option in the Configurator of the EMP.

  • 2 applications of load planning

    I have two planning applications and need to load data at different levels in a hierarchy for each planning application.

    What are the options? Do I need two applications of FDM?

    Thank you
    EZ

    So what? FDM wil always load at the entrance to the members of level regardless of the structure of the hierarchy of your target application such as defined in your mappings that will be associated with the location that will be associated with different target applications.

  • FDM can load planning information by supporting, as it does HFM?

    Is it possible to support the line item details in a planning with FDM application?

    Thank you

    No, not in native mode. FDM charges Essbase during the loading at planning. It does not interact with the relational repository.

    Anyone know how to load another hierarchy of attribute dimension interface ODI? I guess they allow replacing hierarchies in the dimensions of the attribute?

    Edited by: jayfin on 28 March 2011 17:59

    If you're talking about created a hierarchy of shared so no it is not possible that you should not be able to do in planning.
    If it's just another hierarchy in the dimension of your attribute then you should be able to charge members of parent/child to build using ODI.

  • Workflow scenario for the load Plan

    Hello

    I have a plan to charge with 4 scenarios of package.

    Each scenario package has about 100 objects in the stream.

    In the package script if any job fails the process stops here, since we do the error handling in the packaging itself... even if a job fails stop in the operator it shows as completed.

    For this reason in TERMS of SUPPORT, even if we have this error, it moves to the next step.

    any ideas...

    Thank you

    Hi AK26,

    Basically, the problem is that KO links in your package goes to the error handling step who succeed. And the status of the package is actually the status of the last step.

    It's a question that many people have and the usual work around it is to create an ODI procedure with this code:

    BEGIN

    RAISE_APPLICATION_ERROR ("-20101, ' your error message");

    END;

    Put it in your package and create a KO and an OK link of your error_handling in this one step.

    That procedure will address an error in the database, so it will be marked as an error in your package and as it is the last step execute, your package will be thus marked as an error.

    Then you can have behavior wanted in you plan to charge.

    Kind regards

    JeromeFr

  • Cannot load planning data

    Hello

    I get this error whenever I am trying to load data.

    Launch an error message:

    «Year error occurred while running the specified script calc.» Check the log for details".

    and a few times

    "You cannot update data when essbase mode archive".

    But I checked the essbase, none 'save processes' is running.

    Can someone advice me what is the problem... I'm restart the server each time to solve the problem but do not know how I have to rectify with on restarting the server.

    Concerning
    Saravanakumar.Vijay

    I guess you run a script that loads the data and then executes a rule/calc

    «Year error occurred while running the specified script calc.» Check the log for details".

    It is a calc or rule that has been executed

    "You cannot update data when essbase mode archive".

    This means that the database is always in fashion archive, you can use Maxl to exit mode archive.
    for example, Alter database app.db end of archives;

  • negative offshoot of our plan of loading in the cache (OPGCACHESIZE)
