Hello RingoUoka

You always have access to internet to laptop? If yes then configure you ICS correctly? Here is a link to the implementation of ICS. Go through the process and let me know if it helps. Thank you.

    Hello

-Did you change your computer, after which the question began?
-Check if you are connected to the network?

The question seems more like a network connection problem. I would like you to do the following.

Method 1: run the Network Troubleshooter utility and see if the problem persists.

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/using-the-network-troubleshooter-in-Windows-7

Method 2: release and renew the IP (Internet Protocol) address and see if the problem persists.

has. click Start. Type cmd in the search box and press ENTER.
    b. at the command prompt, type the following command and press ENTER:
ipconfig/all (there is a space between ipconfig and /)
The command ipconfig/all command displays for all your network adapters, TCP/IP in Windows settings.

If your IP address of your Local network connection is 0.0.0.0 or 169.x.x.x (where x is a number any), then your computer is not getting an IP address from the router.
If this is the case, try this:
    ·        enough ipconfig at the command prompt and press ENTER
    ·        ipconfig / renew in the command prompt and press ENTER

    Network printer problems

Note: The steps also apply to Windows 7.

  • Partition table does not have a valid system partition

I am working on a Dell XPS 420 computer for a customer.  She has Windows Vista installed on it (not sure what version of Vista).

He's doing a loop, wherever it loads to the point where I can see the bottom and the mouse, but it stops there.  After 5 minutes of him sitting on this screen, it restarts, I can't access one of the Advanced menu F8.  I tried Safe Mode, and after that it loads the crcdisk it restarts, it does with Safe Mode, Mode safe mode with networking Mode and safe mode with command prompt.  I can't use the last known configuration because it will just try to load and eventually restart.

Things I've tried is that I ran a diagnosis of hard drive and memory, and they both pass.

I tried the repair with the regedit option and load the system hive in the registry.

    I tried the bootrec command.

Well I put in a disk for Installation of Vista and choose the repair option.  I did the auto diagnosis and repair option (first choice I think) and I checked the report after he finished saying that it fixes itself and needed to restart (which he did not in fact)

Well the result that came was that the Partition Table does not have a valid System Partition.

I tried the bootrec command, and they all said it has repaired but it did not, when I tried to do the bootrec /rebuild he gave me the message "element not found".

I ran a test diagnosis system and I received the following message

    System test
    error code 0146
    Msg error code 2000-0146
MSG HDD 0 - self-test log contains previous errors. Given the code and can be used by the support message technology guide to help diagnose the problem.

be honest, I just need to know if I need to replace the hard drive or not, it's for a customer.

I did not see if the HDD is set to AHCI or SATA in the bios again, but I will when I get home today, but I would like some answers backup.

    Hi countryboyofal,

I suggest that you contact Dell support for the outcome of the diagnostic system.

  • Local area connection adapter does not

OptiPlex 380 crashed, reloaded Win 7 pro now my network for our local network card does not connect to the wired network, pushing bad, said the driver was not properly installed, when trying to reinstall the States I don't have the driver, went and manually installed the correct driver based on manufacturing however still have no connection. Can help you?

I think that it is an old computer.  Is this fair?

It could be that the NIC itself has failed.  You probably use one which is part of the motherboard of your computer.  In this case, you can buy a Board that fits into one of the main card slots that can replace your network adapter has failed.  They are not expensive.  Usually less than $20 and very easy to install.

  • I only 'local only' connection, does anyone know a real solution that works?

    Hello

My computer is a Dell XPS M1330 on Vista.
Recently, I have noticed my wifi says identification or connected only local connection.
Because this came I was not able to connect to any wireless network.
I tried to connect directly via cable ethernet... still the same
Even my 3 G Dongle says the same thing.
The router works well because I use another computer on it, cables etc. all well tested okay with other computers.
The computer worked fine on the router until the router is a D-Link router.
I am pleased that the router is not the problem as all of the other computers and devices connect very well but I tried factory resetting is still no joy.
I tried drvers off installation and reinstallation on the computer, but that networking does not work on wired, wireless or 3 g dongle I suspect something went wrong somewhere with the computer.
Can someone please suggest a solution.
    Concerning
    Colin

Temporarily disable the antivirus on the computer running software and check if you are able to install the software.

    Disable the anti-virus software

Antivirus software can help protect your computer against viruses and other security threats. In most cases, you should not disable your antivirus software. If you need to disable temporarily to install other software, you must reactivate as soon as you are finished. Frankly - uninstall McAfee and use something else.  There are several free options that are as good, if not better.

    My suggestion:

Get rid of McAfee. Anything and everything that made by McAfee.
Get something else for free (not some manufacturers of ISP/computer getting a rebound) and probably less resource intensive with better results all around.

Regarding AntiVirus - free are very good: Avira, AVG, Avast

You could spend ~ 60USD during two years of eSET NOD32 AntiVirus (not more - just product AntiVirus) and which would be more worthwhile.

In your case, here is what I propose...

Choose one product other than McAfee or Norton. Get it.

Uninstall McAfee stuff (use their removal there tool.)

After a reboot - install your new product and update after the installation.

Run a full scan with it.

Then - just to make sure you started on the right foot...

    Search for malware:

Download, install, execute, update and perform analyses complete system with the two following applications:

Remove anything they find. Reboot when necessary. (You can uninstall one or both when finished.)

Search online with eSet Online Scanner. Remove everything it finds.

    Reset.
