  I have a laptop that is configured as a local server using Apache. On this, I use "localhost" as the domain and have several subdomains.
  Now, if I have no network connection (to any other device) available on this laptop, and then with Firefox I am only able to access the domain 'localhost', but none of the subdomains and get a "Server not found" error on these. If I have a network connection, I can access the domain and subdomains with no problems.

  What it could be and what can I do to make it work without a network connection?
  I also tried with Opera and Chrome, and they can access subdomains anyway.
  Unfortunately however I prefer Firefox, then Yes... I am here.

  I have developed an AIR application for Windows desktop (AIR v22.0.0.153), which allows users to design a logo and then send it by e-mail (using airxmail v0.7). I tested the "send e-mail" feature using an account gmail SMTP and that works very well on several PC. The application is installed on a PC in a Museum, which is connected to the local network there. The application is installed in the Museum can successfully send emails from my gmail test account, however, the intention is to send e-mails from the account of own e-mail museums, through their own local server.

  No authentication is required to send e-mails via the server at the Museum, I have just the details of the SMTP host and port. Every time that the application tries to send an e-mail by using the server, it triggers IOErrorEvent with errorID 2031.

  Can someone tell what is needed to make this work?

  I just solved this problem with the help of the NETWORK society who manage the server. I need to NOT use SSL with the local server. I had programmed the application uses the SSL protocol, as I needed it during the test with a gmail account.

• Loggin to the administrator of the remote site redirects to localhost on the local server.

  This is certainly news to me. I created a Wordpress site locally and then uploaded to the remote server. For some reason when I connect I get redirected to the local host and the version installed locally in XAMPP. I tried to clear the cache in Firefox, but nothing helped. When Apache and MySQL are disabled in the XAMPP Control Panel, he always tries to redirect to the local server and I get the error "problem loading page".

  Also, strangely, when I disable XAMPP the CSS for the site on the REMOTE server is not displayed! Any ideas short of clear and start over? I can't even to the admin of the site to change the password.

• Cannot add 10 Coldfusion as a local server to Coldfusion Builder 2

  My computer has the following specifications.

  1 Intel T7200 (1.73 Ghz Quadcore)

  2. 64 GB SSD + HDD 500 GB

  3. Windows 7 Professional 64-bit

  4. 4 GB OF RAM

  I installed a new copy of Coldfusion 10 on the C: drive and a new copy of Coldfusion Builder 2.0 on drive E:.

  I followed the instructions provided by Adobe to set up a local server and keep getting "cannot find the JNDI port. Make sure that you have provided the correct server information.

  When I change to a remote server, I can browse the server with the CFB 2 objects.

  I would like to install it as a local server, but cannot make it work.

  Does anyone have any ideas why this could happen?

  There is more than one thing, we can try.  First of all, here is a step I found I do 100% of the time after a new installation of CF:

  (1) to the CF Admin > debugger settings, uncheck the option button (deactivate) the "allow line debugging" and click on "submit changes".

  (2) then check (enable) the "allow line debugging" and click on "submit changes".

  (3) restart CF

  (4) test debugger in CFB again (window > Preferences > Adobe > RDS Configuration > button "Test Debugger" and "Test connection")

  Please let us know the result of a click on these 2 buttons.

  There may also be a port number.  There are two ports: a Port "Debugger" and a "debugger" Server Port.  1 is configurable via Admin, SEE > debugging and logging > debugger settings.  The 2nd is random by default unless forced by a JVM to the CF Admin switch > Java and JVM > JVM Arguments and then add this JVM arg if necessary:-DDEBUGGER_SERVER_PORT = X (where X represents the fixed debugger Server Port you want to use FC/BFC) then restart CF.

  I tried to perform the basic research for this question: how is local user accounts are still on the PC connected to a domain.  I tried to use the MBSA tool, but it does not have what I ask.  In addition, our Organization is not in using scripts or VB code.  Are there other tools that can help meet this demand?

  Either way, Flash is dead now.  Most of the people cannot display Flash media more.  You can convert the HTML5 video or use YouTube to host videos now.
