  The printer has been used for a HP Pavilion with Vista and an HP running Win 7 laptop.  It is configured on a local wireless network.

  I've had the printer for a year and I am very very happy with it, but:

  The Panel recently has stopped working properly.

  It does not complete the boot process and remains with the small blue HP graphic on the screen.

  The printer continues to print correctly on both computers.

  On Vista machine I can run the series HP Envy 110 support demand and access to ink, preferences and analysis levels correctly.

  Win 7 does not demand full support on the machine. I don't get the included links for features like 'see what's printing","Set preferences", the"estimated ink levels"and others. And I can't scan from this machine.

  I have power drove the printer a number of times.

  Is there a secret way to reset the printer, so a default configuration that could properly start whe the control panel is not available?

  I consider myself at least able, both for the work of PC and networks of intermediate level.

  I'm not aware of any HW or SW change other than the frequent patches issued by Microsoft.

• ENVY 5530 e-all-in-One Series: My ENVY 5530 e-all-in-one prints only two pages of a multi-page document.

  My newly installed (Jan 2015) ENVY 5530 e-all-in-one prints only two pages of a document with several pages of my HP desk top 500-123ea, windows 8.1. Message on PC "Unable to print document", it's even on Double or single sided printing.  A ran Scan doctor, OK; reloaded software and Firmware from the Hp site. He spent hours and hours of reading the elements of list of support HP; Impossible to talk online with HP. very in angry and frustrated. This HP product seems not as "fit for purpose". I will give HP Feedback after this announcement and rate accordingly. I beleve others have similar experience of this problem. HP is aware?  Is anyone out there that can help?

  1. Select the key icon in the upper right of the home screen.
  2. Select Tools.
  3. Select Restore Factory Defaults and then validate

  I can print with printer through windows and Mac PC cable. but, I can not connect between rutour and the wireless printer.

  I used the Setup Wizard and found the SSID name. I typed PW. but "Not connected" is displayed.

  If you try to connect your printer to the router, you should make sure that wireless Direct is trurned to offshore. Direct wireless is a feature that allows you to connect a device directly to your printer without router (the printer generates its own wifi)

  Please turn off direct wireless (it's often a button on the front panel) and try to connect again.

  Use the Setup (wrench) button on the front of the printer to look through the settings menu to set the date and time of the printer.

  Is where I'm going wrong. I can't find the Format drop-down to complete steps 8 and 9.

  Please make sure that you select PDF or searchable PDF as the Format. You should then find a box to check the 'combined in one document.

  Whenever I try to scan to my laptop, it not only can not find. I have a HP laptop and it was working fine before, but now he can't seem to find it. I ran printing HP and doctor Scan and he said that checked everything. I opened the scan on the program function on my computer and it opens. They are both on the same network. I had the same virus protection and firewall settings since the time that I bought it. I honestly me nothing but problems with this printer since I bought it. Just after I got it, it loses the connection to my router and reset the IP address. One of the technicians helped me set up a static IP address which helped a bit, but then he did it again. So basically, now I have to reset my router and the printer almost everytime I want to use it. Another person, I talked about the cat says that my router has to be on channel 11. I made sure it was 11, but it still does the same thing. But anyway, it is connected to the network now. It's wireless printing and it is scanning to my other computer, but it does not find my cell phone. Is there something I can do? Should I uninstall and reinstall the software?

  Please perform the below mentioned steps that should solve the problem.

  • Double-click the printer icon. HP printer help window opens.
  • Under the section of the ANALYSIS, are looking for to manage scanning to computer and click on it.
  • Then click on the button ACTIVATE.
  • Now try scanning using the front of the printer, it should work.

  I got Win 10 installed for a few months and have just tried to print with my HP Envy 5530 e printer. I tried a doc in Word and he showed that he was priinting, but he vanished from the queue after about 15 seconds.

  -C' is my default printer and displays "series HP Envy 5530 (network).

  -my wifi is connected

  -J' tried to unplug machine and wall & turn off wifi

  -J' tried troubleshooting, but he could not identify a problem

  -J' tried to update.

  -J' uninstalled and reinstalled with disc and I have uninstalled and reinstalled online

  -Print and scan doctor = all OK

  -Test print = print and submitted, but disappears after seconds too

  -internal print has no print

  -disabled firewall only = no print.

  What Miss me? I've never had a problem with Win 7.

  Ok.  This is my second time to enter in this.  I have an ADF and have tried SEVERAL times to scan but my scanner WILL NOT use the ADF.  I chkd information available on this forum but nothing I've tried has worked.  It is "operator error" or "hardware error"?  I tried to use this feature because I bought the printer and it never worked. Finally decided I had to see it through and try to get help.  But I worked on it for 4 hours and feel like a "hostage" - the frustration isn't quite describe how I feel now.  I get in a panick because I needed to scan 10 pps two hours ago and here I am STILL sitting trying to get this d * thing #$ % to work.  Help, please!

  Please uninstall and reinstall the software COMPLETE features, follow these steps:

  1 uninstall the software from your computer
  2. download and save the software COMPLETE features (do not install online)

  The following resources will help you:

  HP printer install wizard for Windows

  3. install the FULL feature software "saved".

  Once you have downloaded and installed the software, FULL of features, you will be able to print and scan.

  To use the Scan software on your printer, you will need to download and install the printer driver.

  We recommend that you download the full features and it can be found here:

  Once you have installed the software, you can click the icon for the printer on the desktop and it will bring up the HP Printer Wizard and you can use the Scan software.

  You will first need to scan more than one page, select "Save as PDF".

  Once you've scanned the first page, in order to scan several pages, you will need to click on 'Add page' (as shown)

  

  When you are finished, you can save the document.

  I noticed that you wonder if there is a faster way to scan a PDF document with your HP ENVY 4500 e-all-in-one printer. I'd be happy to help you with this.

  What I recommend that we do is to add the HP scanning icon to the taskbar.

  To do this: Open file by dragging it from the edge Explorer screen, tap Find (or if you use a mouse, pointing to the top right of the screen, move the pointer of the mouse down and then clicking search), registering file Explorer in the area of research and then by typing or clicking on File Explorer.
