What is the location of the themes. CSS file, how can I change it. I'm not an expert of the Apex, just a beginner. Your help is very appreciated.

Then let's keep things simple. In the attributes of the report where you name your headerss of column, use a br a break like that...

This is my

  • What is the location of the themes

    I installed a few themes (skins), and I would like to know where they are on my drive hard because I would like to make a few changes on them.

    I tried in firefox without success profile directory.

    The "extensions" folder contains extensions such as 'the download status bar', 'flashblock' and "cache viewer", but not the themes.

    Thank you very much.

    If you want to tell people that the header and footer of the selected character images are stored in the Firefox profile folder. If you pass a character then this new character in downloaded from the server and you lose the images of this previous character. The data of all Personas are stored as a pref in the prefs.js file.

    If you mean themes then those are stored (installed) as extensions in the extension file in the profile folder.

    The default location are dependent on the OS.
    On Unix/Linus, it's under $ORACLE_HOME/dbs
    On Windows, it is under %ORACLE_HOME%/database

    To change the location by default, nothing inside the database, but:
    Under Unix/Linux, you must create a symbolic link to this file to the target location
    Under Windows, you need to change the variable env (regedit) ORA_PWFILE and ORA_SID_PWFILE

    So, you must check this setting for the location of real password file.

  • my pc disconnects when trying to save in the folder that is located on the same network share as "offline files".

    I have 11 Windows 7 and they were all 'My Documents' redirected to a folder on a network (H:\) drive, in other words it has been made available offline. On this network drive, there are various files, some are personal folders and some are for public use (DATA, COMMONS, etc...)

    Now, sometimes when I try to save a document in the network drive, but not in my personal file, lets say H:\common, the laptop disconnects and shows me all the folders in this shaded in grey, network drive (as when I'm offline) and by the single folder is the personal folder which is always available. When the application attempts to save to disk network is displayed with an error message saying that he was unable to record on the disc, the laptop comes online again. This process can take anything from 10 seconds to 5 minutes and in a few rare occasions blocked the entire computer and I had to restart the machine.

    I'm having this problem on all computers, but not all the time, it can produce a few 3 - 4 times per hour, sometimes I can secure documents without any problems, and sometimes, it has not allowed me.

    Besides some of the laptops are connected to a windows 2000 server server and others to a Windows 2003 server, and as I said, all have this problem.

    I tested and replaced, hardware, tried the service packs, disabled antivirus programs, disabled the Auto Disconnect on servers... STIL not luck

    Any ideas?

    Thanks in advance

  • Location of the personalized Image of Corporate Branding file?

    I want to change the corporate brand for my application by setting the profile option ' Corporate Branding Image for Oracle Applications "to replace the image of Oracle in my application OFA.

    We are not currently authorized to place files in the directory $OA_MEDIA, but a subdirectory is created this directory called /ALC_MEDIA.

    In the my profile option, I changed the value of/OA_MEDIA/ALC_MEDIA/custom_image. GIF

    When I run the application, it shows the Red instead of the image X as it does not find the image (which does not exist on the server), and looking at the generated HTML code, it searches the file in/OA_MEDIA/custom_image. GIF - he just removed our custom subdirectory.

    Does anyone know if this is a requirement that this image be placed on the $OA_MEDIA directory?

    Must be under the $OA_MEDIA directory, where is the original oracle Corp. image. If you want it to be separate Directory create your custom directory under $OA_MEDIA. Example to create a directory named customImagesand put your custom_image.gif. then set the value of profile to customImages\custom_image.gif. Bounce the apache and test. Let me know if it worked.

  • How can I specify location of the control file when the manual creation of DB?

    DB version: 11.2.0.4

    OS: Oracle Linux 6.6

    The CREATE DATABASE command creates the control file.

    CREATE DATABASE command is executed once you start the instance in NOMOUNT State as shown below.

    SQL > startup nomount pfile=$ORACLE_HOME/dbs/initBRCPRD.ora

    SQL > create database 'BRCPRD '.

    MaxInstances 32

    MAXLOGHISTORY 1

    maxLogFiles 192

    maxlogmembers 3

    ..

    .

    .

    < snipped >

    When you create the database manually, we can define the control_files parameter in the init.ora as below and control file will be created at this location. Right?

    control_files = ("" / u01/oradata/BRCPRD/BRCPRD_control01.ctl","/u01/oradata/BRCPRD/BRCPRD_control02.ctl "")

    When I was generating the DB using DBCA GUI creation scripts, it asks to enter the location of the Online redo logs and control files.

    I entered my desired location. But, I couldn't find CONTROL_FILES parameter in the init.ora file generated the DBCA. This is why I got confused. I think that DBCA is internally somehow. So thought I'd post it here.

    Hi John, OP

    Just checked the init.ora file created by DBCA. Although the parameter CONTROL_FILES is undefined, db_create_file_dest = '+ DATA_DG1' was created. OMF default location is defined by the db_create_file_dest parameter.

    So, I could safely use this script for the manual creation of DB, and during the CREATE DATABASE command execution, oracle will place CONTROL_FILES + DATA_DG1 using the format;

    +DiskGroup/dbname/filetype/filetypetag.file.incarnation

  • location of the file tnsnames.ora and Listener.ora

    Hello

    env: Oracle 11 g 2 - Orable Linux 6.2 64bits

    I set up a database for the client server. I installed IM and the House according to the standards of the Oracle RDBMS. Then I configured the listener to run BOF IM home. If the location of the 'ora, tnsnames' and 'listener.ora' files is $GI_HOME/network/admin.

    Customer's DBA is asking me to conform to the standard for the location of these two files. Here's what he asked for:

    / opt/oracle/owner = oracle, group = s/n (755 permissions)

    / var/opt/oracle owner = oracle, group = s/n (755 permissions)

    • -touch /var/opt/oracle/listener.ora
    • -touch /var/opt/oracle/tnsnames.ora
    • -chown oracle: dba /var/opt/oracle/listener.ora
    • -chown oracle: dba /var/opt/oracle/tnsnames.ora
    • -s /var/opt/oracle/tnsnames.ora /etc/tnsnames.ora ln
    • -s /var/opt/oracle/listener.ora /etc/listener.ora ln

    I'm completely lost here. I don't know if I'm moving these two files in the folder "/ etc", how the LISTENER know about the presence of these files in ' / etc '.

    His reason for this is to support the possibility of having several houses of Oracle's RDBMS. I don't know what he's talking about.

    Please notify.

    Best regards

    Thanks to you two!

    So basically this DBA do not like to follow standards of Oracle but his own.

    BINGO!

    What is the problem with the help of $ORACLE_HOME/network/admin for these two files if there were several homes of oracle on a server? Sorry I never got to work on a server with multiple oracle homes, so I have no idea.

    The 'standard' with several houses installation is to run the listener from the version the most recent House.  If all of the houses are of the same version (putting aside the question of 'why'), then just pick one that is going to be home for the listener.  If the installation program uses the Grid Infrastructure (ASM and/or Oracle Restart), you must run the listener from the House of IM, not House the database.

    There are some key things to consider here.

    1. the auditor is to receive and process applications for connecting customers.  This is why the listener has no meaning on the Server.  Similarly, its configuration file, listener.ora, only makes sense on the server.

    1a. a single listener, using the default name of the LISTENER and the unique default port of 1521 is quite capable of--indeed, we wanted to - several multiple databases editions of multiple service homes.

    2. the tnsnames.ora file provides a name resolution and address customers.  So it has the sense that on the client computer.

    2. when a database uses a db link to access a different database, the first database acts as a client to the second - as with any other LDAP client.

  • href="file://f://myfile.ext would not specify the hard drive and use the same directory as my html file.

    When you use href="file://f://myfile.ext' it will open fine in Firefox 3.6.8. However, I wish NOT hard code hard drive and use the location of the same player if my html file that calls this href link.
    I tried to use href="file:///myfile.ext" and it does not work. I get an error message saying file not found.
    For ie browser I can just specify href = "" / myfile.ext "and it works very well."
    This is a simple html file that refers to several local files and I have everything on a usb key (IE my F drive). The memory stick will be sent to several people and their USB can be another letter.

    I found a solution to my problem. Found I could just specify
    href = "MyFile.ext" and he will see when he's in the same directory as the html code containing the reference. " No need for extra slashes!

  • Try to control the layout of the theme with CSS

    I can't take control of some aspects of the layout. I don't want to keep putting in the HTML element attributes. I'm on version 4.2.6 but I installed an export on apex.oracle.com. But it is version 5. I hope someone can tell me how to solve this 4.2 and not to use the features of version 5.

    Connection information:

    User Apex_dev

    Password dev_apex

    Question:

    Try to reduce the padding between the selection lists and do all the same length. I was able to set the time via a style tag on the attributes of the HTML elements, but it should really be in there only once in CSS and just reference it. I put a CSS in the shared components and attempted to reference in the page template 'No No. Sidebar Tabs'. And when I inspect element, it shows that the padding is being inherited two div above.

    So the question is, what is the best way to replace these parameters? And where can I put the Style width = 180px instead of put it in the HTML elements?

    Check your application. Added CSS following in Page attributes-> section-> Inline CSS:

    table.formlayout td select {
        margin: 2px 0 7px !important;
        width: 180px !important;
    }

    NOTE:! important is to override the margin css rules and defined already by apex theme css width.

    If you want to apply CSS to multiple items at the same time, there is no need to go to each item put a style attribute in each element. You have the means to apply CSS rules to elements using CSS selectors:

    As to make a css custom rules for your apex application file and that it is the reference. Reference: the JavaScript in the Apex 4.2.4 file storage

  • Change the background color of the banner in the theme of the APEX 25

    Hi guys,.

    I'm changing the background color of the banner in the theme of the APEX 25 (in white).

    Oracle.apex.com: Application Express 4.2.5.00.08

    Theme/UI: 25. Reactive blue

    Page template: A level Tabs - no side bar

    Using Internet Explorer 8
    I have created a sample in oracle.apex.com too, see below for credentials

    What I've done so far:

    1. create a file named orange.css with a single line:

    hgroup {background: white ;}}

    Downloaded this css file via:

    Components shared = > Cascading Style sheets

    2 then reference this CSS via the shared components = > templates = > edit the template Page = > a level Tabs - No. Sidebar = > definition = > header

    Added this line before the < / head > tag:

    < link rel = "stylesheet" href = "" #WORKSPACE_IMAGES #orange.css "type =" text/css">"

    Then changed:

    < h1 > < a href = "" #HOME_LINK # "id ="uLogo"> #LOGO # < /a > < / h1 >"

    VOX

    < hgroup > < a href = "" #HOME_LINK # "id ="uLogo"> #LOGO # < /a > < / hgroup >"

    Although the CSS works well, I have two questions:

    1. the sides of the banner are blue instead of white

    2. the disconnect next to the user name button is hidden and only appears when you browse on

    Does anyone know how to solve these problems?

    Here is a link with the model of the application:

    Much appreciated!

    Jeroen van Meenen wrote:

    VOX

    You should not use hgroup here. Leave that as a h1 element.

    • hgrouphas been removed from the W3C HTML specification.
    • With the help of hgroup of this way is non-compliant because it does not contain at least one child h1-h6 element.

    Although the CSS works well, I have two questions:

    1. the sides of the banner are blue instead of white

    The original blue background of the theme is actually applied to the containing header element, not the h1 (or hgroup in your example), it is the rule that must be overridden:

    header#uHeader {
      background: #fff;
    }

    2. the disconnect next to the user name button is hidden and only appears when you browse on

    The link to logout of the theme is white to contrast with the original blue background. What should be replaced by a dark to be visible on the new white foreground color, and a contrasting hover appearance applied:

    div.userBlock a:link,
    div.userBlock a:visited {
      color: #004F7C;
    }
    div.userBlock a:hover {
      background-color: #b6ceed;
      color: #fff;
    }

    Hi all

    with the help of Patrick's to my question Apex 5.0: Theme Roller and background image I was able to reference the theme Images in the theme Roller:

    .t-PageBody-.t-body connection

    {

    Background: URL("background.jpg") non-repetition scroll top black Center;

    Color: #000000;

    do-family: Arial, Helvetica, Sans-serif;

    do-size: 12px;

    line-height: 17px;

    }

    But now I migrate my APEX 5.0.1 in the Oracle 11 GR 2 XE to ADR and images referenced in the roll of theme will appear no more. How can I make reference to the theme Images using ADR?

    UPDATE:

    With the PL/SQL gateway, I created my custom theme Style. It will not set too. But if I open the theme roller then my style of custom theme will be resolved - all colors will be displayed, but not the images

  • APEX 5 - not able to change the theme template

    Hello

    I created a new application in 5 APEX using 25 blue sensitive theme.

    I'm not able to directly change a template theme.

    I copied one of the page template and then edited the copied one.

    Why I am not able to change a theme template directly in the APEX 5?

    Appreciate your help.

    Thank you

    Deepak

    Hello

    No, this is not true. If you

    1. go to the components shared-> themes
    2. Choose the 25 theme
    3. Click on the "Unsubscribe" button in the subscription area "theme".

    You can start making any changes to the 25 theme as you are accustomed to APEX 4.2.

    A default subscription for all provided APEX of the themes has been introduced to make it easier for customers to meet changes in theme in a later version of the APEX without having to worry if changes could have been made to the theme of the application. Our suggest is that if it is necessary to modify an existing template, copy so that it is obvious that it is a custom editing. These copied models will not be affected when a topic gets updated.

    BTW, I suggest having a look at the universal theme 42 - if you start with a new application.

  • Where can I find the CSS created by using Apex 4.0 in Apex 5.0 files?

    Hi all

    I created the CSS file in version 4 of the Apex, we had a separate section under shared components to create the CSS file and retain the same.

    But I see now the Apex interface has been changed and I am unable to find the file CSS created previously, but however the same styles applied to the application.

    Can someone help me find the created CSS files and modify the same.

    Thanks in advance.

    Hi Hello

    Thank you for your answer!

    It was useful for me to find the css file.

    In fact, it was under "Static workspace files", since we are using " #WORKSPACE_IMAGES# " available to all requests for a given workspace.

    Thank you!
