Location System Board FRU T400

Hello

I SIP kind coffee a bit on my laptop and now it beeps: 1-3-3-1, which means: the DIMM module or system board is complete.

I doubt it's the DIMM, so it must be the system board. I began to undo the basket, but it seems a difficult task to find the FRU on the system board.

It is NOT under the main battery and NOT under the DIMM, then, where is it?

Lenovo parts search does not help my S/N + REF.

Any help will be appreciateted.

PS I disassembled just before the Assembly of the fan...

Try looking under the RAM slots

  • Qosmio F20 system board failure

I recently returned to my out of warranty F20 for Toshiba service partner for diagnosis and have been informed that the system board must be replaced due to graphical corruption. The cost for this is £500.

Reading through this forum, there seems to be a story of what is happening on the Qosmio. Someone at - he managed to get Toshiba agree that it is a design flaw?

    [Edited by: admin]

    Hi Roachaldo

I don t think that it is a design flaw.
The fact is that the Qosmio is a portable high-quality with a lot of devices.
In addition the laptop uses a technology that is very sensitive as a module of desktop PC and these problems might not always appear on the Qosmio laptops but on different models of mobile phones.

It of a really bad luck that your motherboard is dead after the laptop was out of warranty, but this has nothing to do with the quality of the Qosmio. I have a Qosmio G20 (similar to F20) and it works properly. Have no problem.

  • X 2 system board split

I have a Split 13 x 2 m110dx PC with processor i3 and I wonder if it can be upgraded to a map of the System i5 and if it would increase the speed/performance enough to be worth the effort. I found the part of Intel to 295.00, which is almost as much as I paid for the system. I've updated the 8 GB RAM, that helped a lot, but I'm used to a little more speed. Any advice?

The processor is soldered to the system board. The fastest system is:

    Hello

Go into the BIOS and "Load optimized Defaults". It is reset the BIOS to its default values. If this does not work, try this:

  • Create installer problem - locate System Driver Set - may 2016

    Hi guys,.

I use LabVIEW 2016 (64-bit) and I try to make an installer. During the Setup, installers, LabVIEW suggests that:

    • OR LabVIEW DURATION 2016 (64-bit)
    • NOR-488. 2 DURATION 15.5
    • NI-VISA DURATION 15.5

When I build, I get a request to locate a number of other installation programs (so far as I know), I've hosted, but whatever I wonder at the moment, I can not find: 'National Instruments System Driver Set - may 2016'.

The only driver sets that I can find on ni.com end to April 2015 and that the file is massive (more), which seems like overkill for what I'm trying to do.

In addition, my software only uses the RS-232 port and any other material.

    My questions are:

Where can I find this set of drivers?

Is it possible to see specifically which driver the build is looking for?

    Thank you

    Adrian

-I just googled a bit and found this

-From the link above, I've just went to the parent directory and found this:ftp://ftp.ni.com/support/fis/sds/2016.05 which I believe is asking, and it's even bigger 11FR.

p.s. I'm not sure if this will help or not.

  • Pavilion dv6t-1200 Notebook System Board part number identification

I am obliged by replacing the Board system/card mother for model Pavilion dv6t-1200 FV161AV (grilled, painful, do not ask :-().  The maintenance manual identifies 5 part numbers of possible candidates.  I eliminated three of claim, but I can't do it between two others to identify and order I need.  The two remaining candidates are listed as:

511863-001 for models with graphical subsystem UMA memory

518433-001 for models with UMA and GM47 chipset graphics card

The processor is a Core2Duo T6400 (labeled AW80577T6400; 2.00/2M/800).  Two other large chips are the I/O chip that is an Intel AF82801IBM (L920NA92; SLB8Q ' 06 Taiwan) and chart/memory chipset called AC826M45; SLB94; EB920A510 and contains a logo Intel "i".  The I/O chip does not say much, but when google, seems to have associated the GM45 many including the GM47 is a member.  However, the AC826M45 seems to be a member of the Intel 845 chipset family.  The first suggests the 518433-001, but the latter suggests the 511863-001.  The FV161AV also seems to get associated with the 518433-001 in the vendor's documentation, but it varies.  Photos on the Internet have insufficient resolution to compare with the current motherboard to see who is right.

Are there references that a person (for example at HP, perhaps) is that he or she can check to disambiguate on this?  I have included all the reference numbers as I could but if more are needed, please ask.  Any help would be welcome and thanks a lot in advance.

Never mind!  I didn't know that there was a tag just below the memory.  All this time, it was under the memory.  I removed the memory and there it was:

    518433 001

And I spent hours trying to understand some chips that did not exist on the Board of Directors.  These are the times you think that you are being so smart, but prove that you can be stupid enough.  Sorry for the inconvenience.

I suppose that if that's all you can do with this utility, then it of all you can do.

I do not think I said that the utility likely to modify or add the model number, nor asked the question originally.

  • How do l fix doesn't have system board problem RTC accuracy test

    Hello

When running my PC Checkup(system tests), l has a problem, the overall result of the test revealed that the card system, RTC accuracy Test
WSBO1-HWX failed. How do l fix the problem so that the RTC accuracy Test will pass in the future?
    Kind regards
    Amos.

    Hi, Amos.

What is your computer make and model and the Windows operating system?

RTC - this test accuracy test verifies the accuracy of the RTC on the motherboard and compares it to the processor clock to determine if the motherboard and CPU clock are too out of sync. This test will discover problems with updates of time system, periodic interruptions and interruptions of the alarm. If the test detects errors with the accuracy of the RTC, it will record the test failure in report of the additional details in the test log.

Your Windows system time may not be the same as the Bios time.

    Check in the Bios

    Compare with time Windows

If the clock keeps losing time, check the battery

You may need to replace the CMOS battery
