Locked out if iTunes on IPad

Hope some can help you with this - have reset my Apple ID, but can't access iTunes.  He still has my old ID attached and I can't get around it. Very irritating, perhaps I'm missing a step, but its put me in a circle of reset, I do and I still can't get.  Any help with this simple question? Thank you

    Yesterday, out of nowhere, my iPad has reported that my ID Apple has been locked for security reasons. Oddly, this lock seems to apply only to the Game Center. All other services I could think uses works very well. I tried to go through the procedure of unlocking, but apparently I don't remember the answer to one of my security questions (I find a strange breach of security practices normal told me how I was wrong) and the password reset email would have been sent did not show.     If you don't remember the password, then you must restore the device to remove it. You can then restore the device to your last backup. If the device has been disabled as you say, then turning off and on again will not disable the old password, it will remain the same unless you changed it.
