Login Yahoo mail says Firefox do not accept the cookies, but my option is as cookies - so what's the problem?

My wife and I can not connect to our Yahoo email accounts (or, I suppose, our Yahoo account). Whenever we try, we get the message: "the browser you're using refuses to sign in (cookies rejected).

However, my cookies in Firefox is: 1) accept cookies 2) accept cookies third party 3) keep cookies until they expire.

There are a few days, I changed the cookie settings for 1) accept third-party cookies) 2 do not accept cookies 3) ask each time. I've also removed a lot of cookies I does not recognize or didn't want to. I did this because I was (and still am) having problems with a redirect virus.

So if anyone has any suggestions as to what needs to make accessible e-mail still Yahoo, I would much appreciate their advice.

I thank everyone for their advice in advance.

Thank you 1 million.

Hello gkerby1952, please try all the steps mentioned in the Web sites say cookies are blocked - pledge.

In addition, if you encounter problems with redirection adware, I would recommend removing the Slick saves 2.6 & SoundFrost 3.7.0 extensions you have installed currently. also, go to the windows control panel / programs and remove all toolbars or potentially unwanted software from there and run a full scan of your system with the security software you have in place and various other tools such as the free version of malwarebytes & adwcleaner.
