• Impossible to uninstall Logitech Webcam Software

  I have Windows XP sp3, IE8 and all updates. Except 3 Logitech webcam C615 updates that all 3 failed to install with the same error code 0 x 80070103.  I have installed and uninstalled my software of Logitech C615, drivers and all a few times, hoping to redo the programwork. The program worked the first time I added it perfectly for almost a week, then without my knowledge at the time I had 3 virus severe threat (which I've taken care of via MSE) a week or so later when I discovered it. I don't know if this is related, but the screen would go black and dead when we tried to use the webcam, it does simply not at all. It's weird that on the same day I've updated these 3 updates failed was the day that I got the virus. So, I uninstalled the program overall, thinking the problem was the webcam and re-installed. It's the same thing, and Yes, the drivers were very good. I had yet to understand and fix the virus. So, I uninstalled it again. Still it wouldn't work. Then, viruses have been found and fixed. Now, here is my current problem. I'm trying to uninstall the Logitech Webcam Software C615 Ain Add/Remove Programs, and it will not uninstall! I '; worm tried and tried. Whenever a screen that is supposed to appear and ask you what parts you want to uninstall tries to ride, flashes briefly and then disappears, leaving me unable to uninstall. I tried the fix from Microsoft, but it without success. All parts of the program that I finally tried to do an unintall advanced disappeared (I think) except the software part. Help!   Read / unread is purely an indicator. It has no real meaning. If you go into the menu (alt + T) tools > options > advanced > reading and display, you can change when a mail is marked as read in immediately to 10 seconds (this is what outlook express used) up to 1000 seconds.

  You're right: print preview remains open until the licensee. As a person who is regularly using the ESC key to dismiss dialog boxes, I had not really noticed an extra step.

  After a little research, it triggered a few times over the years (at least 2 identified bugs) but one was rejected immediately and the other has not attracted a serious debate since it was filed in 2006. I think that there are no secret switch in the software to do this.

  I think it's a problem with the flash plugin, since the problem started right after that I was updating it (even if I have to I guess). And that leads to another problem; I tried to update since instead of videos on the profiles of the people I get error saying I had Java Script disabled or old Flash version - it was wrong then, it is wrong now - now, cause it gives me always this error.

  I post here, because on Google Chrome YouTube works perfectly well.

  Anyway, I wanted to say that I fixed that by searching my variables in all: support it filters the only the main browser vars that have been modified by the default values, there is much too much to sort if you have to root through: config looking at each extension vars. (Note to developers: it would be handyto have research multi-word inline as well as the ability to filter non-built-in variables in all: config-> would do for some more rapid problem resolutions)

  The solution? DOM. Storage.Enabled was incorrectly set to FALSE. No idea of what has changed, but it is certainly something in the last two days. I could watch videos of youtube individually, but would get the "Hello... javascript is disabled or if you have an older version of flash" msg on the homepage of any channel. Also, I couldn't click on java?-function such as controls on youtube, type/aversion and. Al. below the videos, the menu that dropped down when you click on the name of your profile at the top right and many other issues as well. I could not click on any "javascript:" links (nothing happens), e.g., Asus's support site, one of countless other quirks which have all been fixed with the solution below. I don't know that this all would make them perfect sense if I knew a bit more about the DOM Storage, but for now a raw practical description will do.

  For those who jumped paragraph above, here's the quick fix: go to about: config and dom.storage.enabled set to TRUE and that, unless you have other problems as well, you should be in a good position.
