LogonUI.exe - Bad Image C:/Windows/system32/HID. DLL
The title of this post appears on my Windows Vista Home Basic PC when I start it and after I connect. C:/Windows/system32/HID. DLL is not designed to run on windows or it contains an error. Ive looked around the internet for a solution, the only real solution I found was to search for cmd, do a right-click Run as administrator and type sfc/scannow, or something like that. Then he did some stuff and he later said a few corrupted files found but has been unable to remedy. So, how to fix this?
Hello
The program SFC.exe writes the details of each operation audit and each repair operation in the CBS.log file. Each SFC.exe program entry in this file has a [SR] tag. The CBS.log file is located in the folder %windir%\Logs\CBS.
Check the log file and post the logs here so that we can check what exactly is causing the problem.

Original title: 'Bad image 32 system error'
Error window opens "Winword.EXE - bad image", "C:\Windows\system32\bitsprx532.dll is not designed to run on Windows or it contains an error. Try fashion program at new etc. etc."
This happens at startup when programs open ie. audio and whenever I try to open a program, in this case MS Word. I click the OK button several times and he goes and allows me to work in the program.
It seems that the C:\Windows\system32\bitsprx532.dll file is related to malware. Examine for example the Uploader on VirusTotal.com and checking the results provided here.
Scan your system with the free version of MalwareBytes AntiMalwareand see what it finds.
Check with Sysinternals Autoruns for entry autostart referencing bitsprx532.dll and validate its location (in the autostart list).

Hello Queens,
Thanks for posting on the Microsoft answers Forum.
LZ32.dll
To register a dll file :
Click Start > type in the search bar: regsvr32
regsvr32 LZ32.dllClick on enter.
See if that helps. If not, reboot and try the SFC/scannow in Mode without failure.
Please reply back and let us know if this can help.

I use WIndows XP. After that THINKPOINT is presented on my system, I have not been able to access my task manager or restore my system to an earlier date.
I have checked Kellys Korner and various other suggestions on the internet, but have had no luck with anything.
It shows that the HKEY value for the Task Manager is set to 0. Don't know if that helps.
I BELIEVE I have the THINK POINT removed from my system. I use Microsoft Security, Ad-Ware and Malwarebytes Anti - Malware. Between the 3, it seems I have everything.
But now I can not restore my system, or use my TASK MANAGER.
Help would be GREATLY appreciated.
Thank you!

Think like a malicious software...It infects your system and is not to be found and removed. What are you most likely to use to find and remove malware?Internet, Google, Task Manager, regedit, restore the system command prompt, etc...The malware is often afflicts one or more of these components to try to trick into thinking you need to perform a system restore, a repair facility, or even to reinstall your XP from scratch. None of these things are necessary since you can usually just to thwart malware. If the referenced files are completely absent from your system, you will see messages like this when you try to run the applications:Taskmgr.exe - Unable to locate componentThis application has failed to start because VDMDBG.dll is not found. Reinstalling the application may fix this problem.Rstrui.exe - Unable to locate componentThis application has failed to start because framedyn.dll was not found. Reinstalling the application may fix this problem.Sometimes you can click through the OK messages to access the System Restore screen, but the restoration of the system is still broken. If the referenced files are present on the system, but somehow corrupted, you will see messages like this when you try to run the applications:Taskmgr.exe - bad ImageThe application or DLL C:\WINDOWS\system32\VDMDBG.dll is not a valid Windows image. Please check this against your installation diskette.Rstrui.exe - bad ImageThe application or DLL C:\WINDOWS\system32\wbem\framedyn.dll is not a valid Windows image. Please check this against your installation diskette.Sometimes you can click through the OK messages to access the System Restore screen, but the restoration of the system is still broken. These files are part of the file 3498 who cares about Windows File Protection, so unless the WFP is also broken it is likely that files are missing completely (you get a different error message). What is more likely is that the files are somehow corrupt or have been replaced by incorrect files.Assuming that XP is installed on your C drive and in the windows folder, XP keeps copies of 3498 files that he cares about this issue:c:\Windows\System32\dllcacheOn a health care system, Windows File Protection keeps track of 3498 protected files and quickly and quietly replaces all the files in the list that appears missing from the backup folder. File protection Windows will not replace the files if they are somehow corrupted or replaced by bad files. You can simply copy the backup files in the dllcache folder in the folder where are the suspects or missing files.Using Explorer, navigate to the folder c:\windows\system32\dllcache and individually to copy the backup files in there and then navigate the folders where the suspect or incorrect files are and paste in the copied files.Depending on your installation, you can also find copies of the files in this folder:c:\windows\ServicePackFiles\i386Answer Yes, if you are prompted to replace existing files.Test your functions now and then to reboot your system to make sure the changes 'stick', and then fix any problems.Do, or do not. There is no test.

Original title: bad image Logonui.exe
I have laptop Dell XPS M1530. Last night when I tried to start the computer, it went through the movements until he got to the login screen. Rather than get the profile to connect to, I got the error message following "logonui.exe - bad image. C:\windows\winsxs\x86...\COMCTL32.dll is not designed to run on Windows or it contains an error. "When I click ok on the error message and wait for an another error message appears" logon.scr bad image. " I tried to run the Startup Repair and restoration of the system without result. I cannot lose the files on the hard drive, but have run out of ideas and options on how to solve this problem. Someone at - he had this problem and managed to fix it? I've exhausted the System Support of Dell, as they have failed to: "format the drive and restore to original state." That is not an option right now.
I went into the Commpand prompt and delete files that have been raised as errors. When I rebooted, it came in fine. I got the files I needd for backup and then rebuilt the system.

error "logonui.exe - bad image".
My daughter has an Acer computer and received the following error message: error "logonui.exe - bad image. I tried to re-boot the computer in Mode safe, but also invite command, it still shows the same error message. If you 'x' out of the box, or click ok, it will take you to a black screen. I'm unable to log in or do a system restore. Any suggestions?
If you don't have a genuine plant Windows Vista disc or a recovery disk to do what Srimvas has suggested, you can make one at: http://neosmart.net/blog/2008/windows-vista-recovery-disc-download/ using burning like software: http://www.snapfiles.com/get/active-isoburner.html and, of course, a blank CD.
For procedures on the system restore, see: http://www.howtogeek.com/howto/windows-vista/using-windows-vista-system-restore/.
For startup repair procedures see: http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/tutorials/tutorial148.html.

Wmiprvse.exe constantly creating c:\windows\system32\tzres.dll
At the opening of Process Monitor, I noticed that wmiprvse.exe created constantly c:\windows\system32\tzres.dll over and over again. I'm on a new ThinkPad T430 with Win 7 Home Premium. Lenovo would not help me because apparently the basic warranty didn't even software technical support! I tried to kill several treatments that I think can cause this problem but nothing helped. Any ideas? Thank you!

clean install of Windows and all the Windows updates applied, same Microsoft Security Essential antivirus installed, and the WmiPrvSE.exe process constantly calls c:\windows\system32\tzres.dll and tzres.dll.mui in Windows 7 SP1.
If the use of the HARD drive is never-ending, because he calls the files per second, and I have the red light of the hard disk activity lights up every second.
also this problem because constant use of the processor to 3% in my PC, the WmiPrvSE.exe process never stop calling the above mentioned files.
Hello
For a better understanding of the question, I would like to know if the computer is connected to the domain network?
Windows® Management Instrumentation (WMI) is a component of the Microsoft Windows operating system that provides control and management information in an enterprise environment. With wmiprvse.exe, managers of files in enterprise environments are capable of configuring and searching for desktop system or network information and applications on the network. Developers use the wmiprvse.exe file to develop applications used for monitoring purposes. These programs can inform users about important events associated with the right management of network and files or applications after each event occurs.
Method 1:
I suggest you to put the computer in a clean boot state, and check if the problem persists.Setting the system in a clean boot state will help you determine if third-party applications or startup items are causing the problem.
How to perform a clean boot in Windows
Note: After the clean boot troubleshooting steps, see the "How to reset the computer to start as usual after a clean boot troubleshooting" section in the link provided to return the computer to a Normal startup mode.
Method 2:
If the problem persists, I suggest you to install all Windows updates available including the optional updates and check if it helps.See the article for more information.

LogonUI.exe - bad Image (Windows Vista)
When I turn on my Gateway laptop, I get a popup that says:
C:/Windows/syatem32/Uxtheme.dll is not designed to run on Windows or it contains an error. Try to install the program by using the original installation media or contact you system administrator or the provider of software for support.
Whenever I log on my computer, all I get is a white screen and a few popups saying that Explorer Windows and Windows Calendar has stopped working. I can boot into safe mode and with command prompt, but I still have the same pop up windows. I also ran the repair of the boot, the same problem, and I DO NOT have a disk for Installation of Windows Vista. ALL SOLUTIONS?

If restore work not and you do not have a Vista DVD from Microsoft, do a repair disc to do a Startup Repair:
Download the ISO on the link provided and make a record of repair time it starts.
Go to your Bios/Setup, or the Boot Menu at startup and change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order, then reboot with the disk in the drive.
At the startup/power on you should see at the bottom of the screen either F2 or DELETE, go to Setup/Bios or F12 for the Boot Menu.
When you have changed that, insert the Bootable disk you did in the drive and reboot.

NeoSmart containing the content of the Windows Vista DVD 'Recovery Centre', as we refer to him. It cannot be used to install or reinstall Windows Vista, and is just a Windows PE interface to recovering your PC. Technically, we could re-create this installation with downloadable media media freely from Microsoft (namely the Microsoft WAIK, several gigabyte download); but it is pretty darn decent of Microsoft to present Windows users who might not be able to create such a thing on their own.
Read all the info on the website on how to create and use:
