  There are a few methods that work. Here is one.

  (1) select your table cells

  (2) open the race Panel

  3) click the blue lines of the proxy image in the Panel of stoke to deselect the lines inside and high and low lines

  (4) 0 the value of the weight of the race (or change the color of the None swatch)

  

  Oh and for the love of your fellow designers or the person that allows you to edit your work in the future... do NOT use a white box to hide the traits of lines and columns in the table.

  I need to disconnect the text placed between each chapter (Chapter 16). IE, create separate articles for each chapter. Then I need to have some chapters run down on the left side and some chapters run down on the right side. Also a few chapters normal running. Unused pages will be used for illustrations etc.

  First I couldn't disconnect all connections to text. I was able to cut the text of a chapter and paste it into a vertical line of pages on the left side and then reconnect the blocks of text to another. As soon as I do the same thing, with a new chapter on the empty pages on the right, the pages on the left side starts have rearranged. Very frustrating since my work is totally disorganized. I don't want any automation here. I have disabled menu pages allow pages and frames for move, but for some reason, they seem to have activated by an unknown magic...

  How can I make sure that my pages don't get rearranged. It's so frustrating.

  Another feature I couldn't find was a way to disconnect all the other text blocks without hiding the text. Figured that would keep the automated working connections. According to an article published on the web, I could go to connections of text/text (translated) text/Textkopplingar (Swedish). This menu item is not found. Where at - it go? See the version information in the upper part.

  Hope I could make myself clear. My version is Swedish, and I'm not sure what all the menu commands are called in English. Connection text is Textkoppling for example. It is when you click on the handful of output of a frame and then click the handle and on the next page to receive the superimposed text.

  There is a script that comes pre-loaded with InDesign called SplitStory. All you have to do is place your cursor in one of the linked text boxes and run the script. It will disconnect the threading and make each text box in its own history

• Firefox 5 displays the right fonts only in Mode safe!

  After upgrading to Firefox 5, I noticed it displays the wrong fonts (larger than they should - they look ok in Firefox 4.x, Chrome, Opera).

  The strange thing is that if I run Firefox 5 Mode without failure, it displays it correctly. I have disabled all addons, I cleaned all Cache, configuration of the size of minimum font... even reinstalled. It is allowed only in Mode safe looking.

  What else to do?

  Safe mode disables extensions in Firefox 4, and disables hardware acceleration.

  • Tools > Options > advanced > General > Browsing: "use hardware acceleration when available.

  Try to turn some of the prefs Boolean gfx.font_rendering on the topic: configuration page to disable some features.
