  This PJ11 is placed on the motherboard and the flat keyboard cable must be connected to this connector.

  There is no special driver for the optical drive of your computer laptop just the drivers Microsoft standard supplied with the XP operating system.

  Make sure you have the "Enable CD writing on this drive" box checked for your optical drive. You can check this by selecting my computer then right click on the optical drive, select properties and then click the recording tab.

  do you want to really be a bag on back of toshiba or would you also choose one of another brand? I suggest these brands like targus or deuter, they have really nice backpacks that are designed for complete portability and comfort. In particular these two mentioned brands are endearing importance to the security of your machine which means you can leave your laptop in your bag (or better expressed "you forget your laptop in your backpack") and you´re throughout the weekend a game somewhere in nature. The backpack lied several times somewhere around during a short rain shower without beeing covered what whatsoever. After the weekend I came back home and asked myself where my work station could. I found it in my bag on back and nothing has happened.

  By the way: the cost of this Backpack was around 30 Euros...

  I own a Tecra A9 with a 15.4 screen and my backpack targus older don't fullfill absolutely all of my needs.

  My daughter has a Toshiba Satellite L655D and wants to get video footage, that she turned on a Sony DCR-HC51 camcorder on his system. The camera supports the DV iLink s400 with a 4 pin firewire IEEE1394 connector. Computer laptop but does not seem to have any firewire connectivity. Does anyone know please how to convert either the iLink USB or any other method to achieve this.

  For this particular model, I could not find another A40 Pro which has a DVD - RW, only DVD ROM. I also suggest to buy an external DVD - RW writer because an internal hard drive will cost much more. Probably triple what external there. External, you can find for about 50 but internal will cost at least about 90 more taxes. I'm sure it is internal that correspond to this machine, but at the moment I don't have the time to research each compatible model search of the car, it's why I suggest an external drive.   It might be problematic for you to find the original Vista recovery disc for this older model laptop.
  I'm also sure that you will not be able to order it too so my advice to you is to install the clean version of Win7 32-bit by using the original installation disc for Microsoft.
