Lose the wireless internet connection when it is not active
Hello
I have an annoying problem. IM losing my connection wireless internet access after a few minutes is not active... Well not according to the 'doctor' program - it shows no signs of a problem.
Looking at the 'LAN' icon, I see he's trying to connect when I ask, for example, an update on the current site, but simply not turn on the blue bar.
The only cure to get online is to update the connection.
What I'm doing wrong here?
Thanks in advance... Jens
Hello Jens
Please check the option sign-out after x... on your router. The sign-out feature is used to disconnect the router from your ISP automatically when there is no activity for a certain period of time. For example, place a check mark next to this option and enter 5 in the minute field will cause the router to disconnect from the Internet after 5 minutes of no activity from the Internet. This option should be used if you pay for your Internet service by the minute.
Good bye

Hello
What version of the Windows operating system is installed on your computer?
I would suggest trying the following methods and check if it helps.
Method 1:
Run the Internet Connection Troubleshooter and check if that helps.
Follow the steps to run the Internet Connection Troubleshooter:
Click the Start button, type Troubleshooting in the search box, and then click Troubleshooting. Under network and Internet, click connect to the Internet and run the troubleshooter.
Method 2:
Try to update the graphics driver and check if it helps.
Update a hardware driver that is not working properly: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows7/Update-a-driver-for-hardware-that-isn ' t-work properly

Lose my ethernet internet connection when the computer goes into mode 'sleep '.
I have a desktop with Windows Vista. I have my internet through a cable company. I've never had problems of connectivity for 2 years and then out of no where he would pass the signal after mode 'sleep'. I had the cable company come out and check on all equipment and it's good that now, I'm still clueless and confused. The connection icon have an exclamation point in a yellow triangle and say "limited connectivity" and «identify...» "and then I click on Local area connection status and make a diagnostic test that will get me connected to"network 2 "until it goes into sleep mode and then the process repeats. It's boring say the least. When I login and go to the LAKE State he says;
IPv4 connectivity: Internet
IPv6 connectivity: limited
Media state: enabled
Duration:
Speed: 100.0 Mbps
He said that the issue is resolved after each diagnostic test, but then it happens again. I need some help pleaseeee!
> I need some help pleaseeee!
But you're in the wrong group! It is a problem with your network driver
or your Windows installation. You have this repost to a suitable for Windows Vista
Forum. It is possible that a newer driver from the network has a problem with sleep
mode, you should try another pilot (older or newer).
From your description, there is a problem to renew the lease of your
DHCP server (which must be running on your router), it does not use the
IP address assigned earlier or he does not do / IP address (which
should be the same) we get the router. It is also possible that the
problem is with the router or a new firmware on this subject. You should study
These two avenues, including a replacement of the router and firmware.
Another very simple solution is to configure your PC for a static IP number and
leave it like that. In the forum, I mentioned, people will be able to talk to you
through this option if you don't know how to do this.--

As in the title, power storm seems to have fried the step-down transformer and router DLink. Replaced this morning and only took a few minutes to operate wireless router Cisco Valet for wire hard PC and wireless laptops.
However, it seems that my Canon MX860 printer is not found by the network. It can be located by control panel of Windows Vista and I have uninstalled and reinstalled twice. But when I try to print I get the error message "printer not found."
Help.
Hello
If this is a network printer ready to reconfigure the printer to match the new router.
If it resets in a different IP, you need to set the printer to the computer for the game too (see the manual of the printer).

Apple TV (9.2.1) removes the internet connection when you try to use Siri
Greetings,
I think I saw network related issues with my Apple TV. Everything works fine most of the time. But sometimes, including, but not limited to, when I try to use Siri, Apple TV almost always drops the wireless internet connection. I've included a picture below of exactly what it looks like. I scoured both online that I can but it doesn't look like anyone has the same problems.
I called Apple support and they suggested that I connect to another source of wifi. I used my hotspot on my iPhone and the Apple TV has worked well without any hitch in the connection. This leads me to believe it's firewall partner.
However, I have disabled literally of each firewall setting I found in my router and still cannot find a solution. I also use a WAP browser in addition to router which is what my Apple TV is connected to. My WAP is an enterprise-level device, but I'm having issues access to the features of the admin of it network. Before I go and reset my WAP I wanted to get additional advice from people with experience in networking and firewall, especially with services like Siri.
Thanks in advance. Pics and info of additional device below.

Hello. I don't think that this has nothing to do with the firewall, etc. When you use Siri, you send your voice via Bluetooth to ATV. If your WiFi signal is weak, the Bluetooth maybe block, if you are using 2.4 GHz. could you try to connect to a network of 5 GHz and see if that helps?

Here are the facts:
1. to have access to the internet with a direct line to router Ethernet ONLY, but no wireless connection.
2. verified Harware for "Intel (r) PRO/Wireless 2915ABG Net" - WORKS FINE.
3 drivers for the cards above, have most recent downloads - WORKS FINE.
4 activated the 'USE WINDOWS TO CONFIGURE MY WIRELESS NETWORK SETTINGS' button on the tab 'network connections'.In fact... impossible to find the above until that earlier. What happened immediately, is that I no longer get the "ERROR MESSAGE to SEE the ARTICLE ID: 871122" message. And instead, I could FIND my network. He finally has shown Up! However...
Now, I clicked on my network and click 'CONNECT' and his request now a WEP key to be entered twice.
So, I just need to get this 'key' to my Service provider and punch in, and it should work? Well, I'll try tomorrow.
Thank you.
So I read the ID: 871122 Microsoft Article. But I can't always have to figure if I need some sort of 'Internet '.
(1) make sure that u run "NET START WZCSVC" on the command-line as soon as u Ouvrezunesession WINDOWS XP (START, RUN, NET START WZCSVC (command line)).
(2) START, CONNECT, WIRELESS INTERNET CONNECTION

iMac loses the internet connection when I turn off wifi
Any help appreciated! I'm not very computer savy! Can my grandson tell me (how) on some things.
I lose the internet connection when wifi is disabled. It will happen when using any browser, Firefox-Safari-Google Chrome.
Desktop computer is connected to the modem.
Model name: iMac
Processor name: Intel Core i7
Processor speed: 3.4 GHz
Number of processors: 1
Total number of Cores: 4
(By heart) L2 Cache: 256 KB
L3 Cache: 8 MB
Memory: 4 GB
Any ideas? Thank you
You can use an ethernet cable between the modem (= the internet connector) and the iMac.
WiFi is like an invisible computer thread worms (among others) the modem. When you switch WiFi off, your computer cannot reach the modem and so there is no internet on your computer.

I tried to fill the connection between my laptop Wi - Fi and an ethernet cable LAN via the connection to the Local network for my xbox 360. However, when the connections passed the wireless connection would show that it is disconnected and would not reconnect. When I tried to repeat the process sometimes the same thing happens sometimes it says that it is still connected.
However, be that as it may, both times I could not load any page of the website from my laptop and xbox connect any.
How can I create a network bridge and get the wireless internet to connect please?Any help to fix this would be appreciated,

I keep getting the 'Network security Key Mismatch' message when you try to connect using my wireless internet connection. I don't know that I use the password.
Hi oms1957
I recommend you try these methods
Method 1:
Reset the wireless network and make sure that you set the level of security to WPA2-Personal, as it is recommended.
Here are some links that will help you set up the wireless network
What are the different wireless network security methods?
Method 2:
If this does not clear if installed third-party antivirus and then try to connect. If the problem is resolved, you have to uninstall the antivirus and reinstall back or check with the settings.
Method 3:
Cycle power to the router and check if this is useful.

Satellite L350 loses the wireless connection
Can someone please help?
I have a Satellite L350-170 which perfectly connects to the internet using a cable to connect to my router.
When you use the wireless to connect, I can only get a connection so I first of all turn off the wireless card and then enable it again, but I lose the connection within two minutes. I can reconnect if again, I turn off and then turn on the map.The OS is Vista Home Premium Service Pack 2, fully implemented to date. I have updated to the most recent available wireless network driver. I tried to turn off IP6.
The laptop is connected to the network and receives a signal of power when it connects.
When the connection is lost, no networks are detected, but properties card says card works Ok, although Ipconfig says media disconnected. Other mobile stay connected anywhere in the House.Thank you in anticipation of a quick solution.
Where did you download the latest driver for the Realtek 802.11 g (RTL8187B) wireless network card?
This is the WLan from Toshiba portal, where you can find the latest version of the driver:
http://APS2.toshiba-tro.de/WLAN/I recommend also to renew the IP address if this problem would occur.
Cmd execute command: ipconfig / renew
This should help to assign the new ip addressBy the way: in the Device Manager-> Wlan card-> properties-> power management, you can uncheck the mark option which disables the card in order to save energy.
Have you tested the WiFi with open (unsecured) WiFi connection?

Re: Satellite L670 loses the wireless connection
Hello
I have a Satellite L670 - 1 H 1, a new laptop that runs Windows 7, with all the drivers and software uptodate, including the wireless card.
I have a BT Home Hub 3 with an Edimax EW 7416APN v2 300 m range extender to help boost the signal in the kitchen area.
The laptop works fine when I stay in the room where the reception centre. If I move in the kitchen the laptop will usually lose the wireless connection after a few minutes and I cannot get it back unless I turn the LAPTOP works and return to the Home Hub.
I see no obvious reason to this problem. Two other laptop computers used in the home, more a smartphone stay connected with full signal in every corner of the House, at any time.
I have to use the range extender, but is it possible that the laptop Toshiba just don't hear well with it?
Any advice would be welcome.
Thank you
CantonHello Canton
As you know quality of connection WLAN depends on different factors is not easy to say why you have this problem, WLAN. I use Toshiba laptops for a long time now and I didn't notice in the past some serious question of WLAN.
For example I'm 4 router with standard g and have very good signal even in the cellar too or out in the back yard.If possible, try to test the WLAN connection elsewhere. Maybe your friends have WLAN routers so you can test it.
You have a new router or old?
What WLAN standard do you use (b/g/n)? -
No Internet connection when the laptop is off mode "Eve".
When I close the lid on my laptop (which puts the computer into sleep mode) or he falls asleep with the lid open, there is no internet connection when I wake the computer. I have to either run the Troubleshooter or perform a reboot to get connectivity. This problem just started and I got the laptop almost 2 years. It runs on Windows 7. I don't know much about computers. Does anyone have any suggestions?
When out of standby or hibernation, your wireless network connection can not reconnect if power on your wireless adapter options are set to a power saving mode. To check or change your current power options, follow the steps below for your operating system:
- Open Power Options by clicking the Start button, click Control Panel, clicking system and security, and then clicking Power Options.
- Next to your currently selected power plan, click change plan settings, and then click that to change advanced power settings.
- Click to expand wireless adapter settings section, and then click to expand the Energy saving Mode section.
- If the setting is currently nothing else that "Maximum Performance", click it, and then select A maximum Performance.
You can also set the setting on drums on "Maximum Performance". For more information on power management, see the feature page of power management on the Microsoft Web site.
