loss of internet connection on windows 7 pro 64. Says connected but no internet access with yellow exclamation point! Help, please!
I keep losing internet connection, I have windows 7 and every time I connect it to the wireless internet works for 5 minutes, then a little ytellow icon pop up and say its connected without internet access. Its happened to me before and recently started happening to my cpu. I did a FRESH install of windows to see if it can help, but it didn't. IM literally on the point of throwing my processor through the cause of wall, I can't find a solution to this anywhere. Whenever the yellow icon pops up that I have troubleshoot and it indicates the default gateway was unavailable and that fixed it, then I have internet again for about 2-5 minutes and it does the same thing. Ive never had this problem on my cpu and the network has not been changed or anything, so I don't know what that the * could cause this. I literally wiped everything on my cpu and then do a system image to restore too. Ive been messing around with the registry, deletion of things here and there missions that I read, but only thing that happens is losing internet alltogether and must restore from system image. I'm really running out of ideas. Help, please. I have an adapter netgear wn311b wireless pci-express with the latest drivers.

Hello
First of all, let me tell you about my system. It is of a laptop Inspiron E1705/9400 with the Core 2 Duo T7400 processor clocked at 2.16 GHZ. It has 2 GB of RAM and a hard drive on the Hitachi Travelstar nine 500 GB (7200 RPM). It also has the GeForce Go 7900 GS video card. Previously, it had Windows XP Professional (32 bit) and worked well. But, I have three computers in my home and Home Office and would they work better together on my wired home network, so I'm upgrading all three to Windows 7. My two desktops (a Dimension XPS 420 and the other Dimension XPS 430) seem like they will be no problem to upgrade to Windows 7. But, this laptop was not on the list of Dell Windows 7 compatibility. However, the Windows 7 Upgrade Advisor that I have downloaded and run seemed to say that it was OK to do a clean install of Windows 7 32-bit and he had only a few minor issues, where it says search the drivers updated from the manufacturer. Initially, the laptop came with a 100 GB hard drive. For my use, which becomes very small, so I decided to get the exact same 7200 RPM drive 500 GB size. This will allow me to do a clean install of the 32 bit Windows 7 OS on the new hard drive and not have to wipe the old disk to do so. I can just keep the old HD and paste it back whenever I need to get something out of it.
So, here's my minor problem. After the transfer of some elements off the coast of the old hard drive, I installed the new 500 GB drive and installed a cleaning of the 32-bit version of Windows 7. I'm happy to announce that I have not had virtually no problems with installation and everything seems to work fine. He seems a little more zippy than before and I have not met so far that doesn't seem to work. I went through most of features and almost everything is superb. But there is a minor problem, showing in Device Manager. At least, I think it's a minor problem, but maybe someone can give me feedback to know if she is or not.
In the Device Manager list, there is a category called "other devices" now and the icon shows a little white circle with an exclamation mark. When you expand this category, you see two identical entries that say "Base system device" and the icon has a yellow circle with an exclamation mark inside. I know from experience that it is not a good thing to see items in the device manager that have a yellow circle with an exclamation point. I clicked on both of them and neither one really tells you what the device is, or who did what is site you would go to a driver. On the general tab, it has the following information:
-Device type Other devices
Reference of the manufacturer- Unknown
Location - Bus PCI 3, device 1, function 3
Under device status, it says the following:
The drivers for this device are not installed. (Code 28)
There is no driver selected for the item or a set of device information
To find a driver for this device, click Update driver.
Each of the entries seem to be almost the same thing... but not exactly. The other has the location
list PCI Bus 3, device 1, function 2... instead of function 1. This seems to be the only difference.
I tried the button to update the driver, but that doesn't seem to work. No matter if you say it looks like your
computer or to look for a new driver from the internet, it does not find anything. As I said at the beginning,
the system seems to work very well... but, given that I don't know what this device is or does, I might be missing something.
He drives me crazy just have these yellow circles with exclamation point hanging out in my device manager.
I could really use some help here. Any ideas or help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you
Bryan Ray (Richmond, WILL)
BTW, I just downloaded and installed the driver pack from this ftp location and it worked, even for Windows 8.1 - 64 bit.
Thanks Steve!

Hi, I have 10 windows 7 Enterprise workstations connected to a Windows 2008 domain and there is no internet connectivity (this is normal) but each workstation network icon displays an exclamation point yellow because she had not any internet connection. Isn't there anyway other than hide the icon which I don't want to get the yellow exclamation point to appear.
Thanks Simon.
I finally found the answer. If you are running Windows server 2008 R2 edition, then you can find this policy in the strategy of Group Editor and it will be effective for your Windows 7 machines. If this is not the case, as I am on Windows server 2008 standard and then, is not an option within the Server Group Policy Editor must therefore be as a change in local policy on the workstations.
It is found on the local computer by running gpedit.msc and looking: -.
Local computer policy,
Administrative templates,
Network,
Network connections,
Does not display the network icon "local access only".
Select this option enabled.
Closing of session and immediately and this will make the yellow exclamation point icon disapear.

Hello
I think there could be a problem with your WLan router.
I recommend to reset the router and try againIf this is not enough, clear all settings of encryption like encryption, password encryption, mac address filtering, etc. and try to connect again to open WLan.
But this just for testing purposesIf the connection would be functions, you must configure the router once more.

I have Emachines E620, Microsoft Vista and service pack 1. My PC cannot connect to the internet and stop a yellow exclamation point error message. My internet providers technical support, I lost my IP address and cannot be recovered. My PC shows that my card Microsoft ISATAP does not work, but when we try to update, it says I have the updated version of the adapter.
I tried everything the system fixed but did not work. Can't try bugs online because I can not connect to internet. My research on the Internet, maybe I need service pack 2. Can someone tell me if this could work? If so, what is the way least costly to achieve? What does it mean that my PC is undesirable?

I have Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro and serial number. She asked an older serial number? Help, please?
Hi juneb55782770,
I think you have a upgrade to Adobe Acrobat Pro version, in this case it will ask for the serial number of the previous version of qualification.
You can find your old serial number using this link: quickly find your serial number
Hope this will solve your problem.

Windows 8 pro applications say that they are not connected to the internet
I just installed Windows 8 pro and after installing, everything worked well. However, now all applications say that they are not connected to the internet.
Shop Windows says "you're PC is not connected to the internet," However, when I go to the Office the internet works fine. How can I fix?I tried to make a new account and check my internet options, but nothing seems to work. After much more research online, I was able to find the problem for my computer. Before moving to windows 8, I had AVG internet security on windows 7, and apparently that's what was blocking the applications to connect to the internet.
So if you have some type of antivirus or internet security installed, try to remove them to see if that makes a difference. -

Connected but no internet access? ... Help
Hello
If someone could help me that would be great!
I rented a House and do not have access to the modem. I have a 2 year old HP laptop. When I connect to the internet it says connection to the internet and internet access. then, when I try to watch a video or anything of that kind, a yellow error sign appears in the signal at the bottom bar. It then says connected without internet access!
Why is it that / is there a way to fix it? I need to start the work of the school and it does on every 10 minutes and I have to disconnect and reconnect!
Can anyone help?
Thanks in advance!

Satellite L350 does not connect to the internet, network adapter yellow exclamation
Trying to help my Nan with his laptop...
Model is Satellite L350-170Does not connect to internet, even using the Ethernet cable. Network cards have yellow exclamation marks on it and seems he needs an updated driver. How the hell can I download and update if it does not connect to the internet. And then, what update is necessary, because I searched on here and there is no update driver for network card?
She had various internet help from its supplier and a visit at home but still no joy. Internet works fine on other devices. Any advice greatly appreciated.
All the drivers can be downloaded from the Toshiba UE driver page.
http://www.Toshiba.EU/innovation/download_drivers_bios.jsp
Choose your model of laptop in the form of download and the system that is pre-installed on you unit.
Then, you will get the list of drivers. If you are not able to connect to the internet due to lack of driver LAN/WLan, then you another computer for download.
You asked how to remove the network card?
Usually, you need to access the Device Manager (in Control Panel) then we need to expand the area to network adapters and you will find the LAN and WLan card.
Click the single LED adapter, and then press or click on uninstall button driver
