Loss of status window on monitor HP 7560 ink level

Data:

Computer: Dell 8300 Desk Top running under Windows 7 (SP1) Home premium; new December 2011

The method of connection: USB Cable through hub powered

Printer: HP Photosmart 7560; New July 2011

Issue and background:

About our different programs such as Photoshop and Hallmark Card Studio 2012, shortly after the outbreak of the action of PRINTING on the 7560 a small screen will appear in the lower right of my computer screen showing me the ink levels and offer me a cancellation of print option, if necessary.    Other more informative showcases are also triggered by the State of ink during the printing and they seem to have stopped.  I did ran out of ink week apparent last to two cartridges without prior warning.    The printer works very well as this ink level display problem.   FWIW: Built into the printer screen to view the status of ink precisely, but it's buried in my configuration of office and not always visible.

After using HP color inkjet for years, this type of display of ink management has been very helpful and miss me it.

I maybe the trigger move this action by a stupid of me a couple of weeks.  There are two program shortcuts in the STARTING Windows folder that seemed useless so I deleted them; one was a control of update of the calendar from Hallmark, I certainly didn't need and I don't check the other is too carefully before deleting; It could have been a HP owned file but seemed unnecessary. (I'm not a fan of the use of STARTING Windows folder).

Does anyone have an idea what is happening and can advise you how to solve the problem?  Any advice would be helpful.

Also, does anyone know if HP hiding places a shortcut in the START menu folder that I might have accidentally deleted causing a self inflicted problem?  If so could you tell me the name of the file and where it is hidden so I can repair the damage.

Thank you for taking the time to give me advice on the subject.

1 download the drivers and full software features

http://h10025.www1.HP.com/ewfrf/WC/softwareDownloadIndex?softwareitem=MP-75048-1&CC=US&DLC=en&LC=en&os=4063&Product=3396085&sw_lang=

2. once the download is complete, double-click the file to extract the software.

3. when the installation window opens, press the Cancel button to stop the installation

4. tap folder in the race or search programs and files of field

6. right click on the folder and select copy

7. close this window and all open windows, and then in the Middle the desktop right click your mouse and select Paste. This will move the 7z folder on your desktop.

8 open the 7z, that you just copied on your desktop

9 open the Util folder

10 open the CCC folder

11 start the uninstall_L4

12. once the uninstall is complete, restart the computer

13. run disk cleanup from the tools Accessories\ system under all programs folder

14. download and install the latest version of Adobe flash player

http://www.Adobe.com/support/flashplayer/downloads.html

15 open the 7z folder and then double-click the Setup.exe file that will be towards the bottom of the open window. Follow the instructions on the screen to reinstall your printer.

I would like to know if you are able to successfully install the software and driver?

  • The printer status window Interface stopped working and was closed. How can I fix it?

When I try to print I get the following message from Microsoft Windows: Printer Status window Interface stopped working and was closed. A problem with the application to stop functioning properly. Windows will notify you if a solution is available.

I have never received a Windows solution.  Once I have selected an email or other document to print and then click on print, nothing happens.  I then log out of windows and then reopen in an and the document will be printed.

How can this problem be fixed?

    Hi all!

This is usually resolved with a driver updated from the manufacturer.
I highly recommend updating the driver to see if that takes care of the issue. If you need help, find the driver for your printer, please provide the make and model and I will do my best to find the right one for you.

  • Printing status window Interface has stopped working

I have a new computer with Windows 8 and an old printer Dell720.  I found a driver and the printer works with the new computer.  The printer was working without any problems, when I received the message "the Print status window Interface has stopped working".  I also had a "Low Ink" pop-up window.

Any help to solve this problem would be appreciated.

OK, I found a way to deal with my problem.  Apparently the problem centered around the printer sends a message to the computer that the ink cartridge is low on ink.  I said to the computer I installed a new print cartridge (but I do not actually have) and now the printer works.

  • How to do a "status window"?

    Hello

I'm doing a view window to display information to the user without blocking the form (date not method app.alert).

What I would like to see is a kind of reminder that displays the thermometer.

The Scripting of AcrobatJavaScript reference describes the purpose of thermometer as ' a combination State window/progress bar indicating it the user a long ongoing operation ", so I guess what I want to display a status window, but I can't get any reference to such a thing in the documentation...

Are there? How to create or manipulate? Is there another way to get the same effect?

    Hello

The thermometer object has a property called

    text

Sets the text string displayed by the thermometer.

So you can use it on the screenAnnot object that is used for the display of flash (and other media) so it is maybe a little exaggerated so that it can be used to display a message to the user of content.

You can use one of the other annotations, but I think that if the thermometer is not just an option Bernd idea is the best solution.

  • HP Photosmart D5360: check ink levels HP Photosmart D5360 and use Windows 8.1

check the ink levels HP Photosmart D5360 and use Windows 8.1; Windows 7 has a HP Solution Center but Windows 8.1 is not?

    Hi @torbay,

By your post, I see that you have no software to verify the printer ink levels using Windows 8.1. I would like to help you today.

I checked online and there is a software HP Photosmart full feature and driverswho should still support the printer services. If you use the old or Windows Update drivers, remove them and install the latest drivers.

You can also download and run the print and Scan doctor, it can predict the ink levels and services available for the printer. HP printers - help print and scan the doctor for Windows to solve printer problems. Go to the section how can I use the services of diagnosis and cleaning of printer?

  • Check the ink levels HP 4215 with windows 7?

I bought a new desktop computer with Windows 7. Old unit was Windows XP. The installation disk supplied with the HP 4215 printer does not support Windows 7. But windows 7 OS has the inbedded of drivers so I'm able to use HP 4215.

Drivers are limited to functions for this printer. No "HP Director", no kits, no way I know to check the ink levels is graphically on the screen, or an impression on.

HP offers that print "Self Test Page" using the printer panel keys. The only Self Test page that can be printed is the 'Self Test report'. Who only give me various technical info and prints 4 large bars of color. It does not print the ink levels!

HP.com says he should appear on a page of paper, ink levels. Nope! Can not get to do.

Someone first hand experience in the visualization of the level of ink for 4215 HP with Windows 7?

    Thank you.

    Hi printer123xxx,

Welcome to the Forums of HP Support! Yes you are right, you have some basic functions of the printer now, as for the self-test page that can be printed from the control panel this unfortunately does not include the estimated ink levels.

I would like that run you HP print and scan doctor- it was designed by HP to offer users the features and troubleshooting problem needed to solve many common problems experienced with HP print and scan the products related to Windows computers.

The PSDR does not include the services of printer that may be just what to check the estimated ink levels, I can't guarantee that it works, but it has an option of ink level.

Please let me know if it worked for you, I'll watch for your reply.

    Thank you

Banhien, ran the link you sent, the system rebooted, but do not see the HP Solution Center and I see the 8500 A909a in my devices, but is not the default printer. When I upgraded to Windows 10, had same problem, downloaded new drivers and everything but somehow managed to make the HP the printer named, but then in Solutions of HP did not show ink levels.
