Loss of the deleted items folder
When I delete a mail from my box as planned and according to my work e-mail e-mail moves to the deleted items folder. However, when I log in the e-mail message has disappeared from deleted items and I can't get it back. I thought it must be something to do with the properties of my deleted items folder or maybe it is set up to remove items permanently when you disconnect However despite many attempts I can't find where it shows what I can change the settings. Please help because I lost some important emails. Thank you

When I receive an email in Outlook Express in Windows XP, it will immediately in the "deleted items" folder How can I fix it?

This can happen only if you have a message in place rule or the sender entered blocked senders. Carefully review these two areas and any spam program, you may have.

Empty the deleted items folder
When I do a "right click" to empty the deleted items folder, I get the message "do you want to permanently delete the items. I select 'Yes', but the messages are not deleted. It started just past a week ago (I think that after some Vista updates have been completed).
It seems that I had to restart my computer I fixed the database because I am now able to empty my deleted items folder. Thanks again for your help.

THE DELETED ITEMS FOLDER DOES NOT EMPTY IN WINDOWS MAIL. __
When I right click, empty the deleted items folder, it only deletes a single element at a time.
Is this something that just started or he works this way for you? I have the same setup with Mail value remove all their output and it has always worked for me. I tried to recreate what you see by right-clicking on the deleted items box and selecting delete and he emptied the entire folder.
That happens if you open the deleted items folder, then CTRL A to select all, then right click on that and select delete? Microsoft® Security MVP, 2004-2009 -
How to remove the elements in the "Deleted items" folder using Microsoft Windows Mail?
This used to work, but I was not able to remove items from the deleted items folder and it takes a lot of space. I used to be able to do it and it automatically deletes the items when I closed Windows Mail (it is always set up to do, incidentally, does not yet), but now it does not work. I've tried everything. I used the link at the top of the page coming down and clicked on "Empty Deleted Items Folder", but it does not work.
I tried to download Windows Live Mail and it won't work on my computer.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thank you!
Maybe could turn the setting and then turn again. Sometimes it works, but I wouldn't be surprised if she did not help, or if you have already tried.
Take note of the following:
- I've never used only 8 years old, Windows Mail
- Windows Mail is not supported.
The deleted items folder has a clean button on it? This can empty it completely. Another thing to consider is that your e-mail service can remove items deleted periodically. However, as you say, it takes place, so you can delete them manually.
Alternatively, you can consider changing the e-mail programs. You said that Windows Live Mail did not work. You can try an older version, because I don't think not 2012 works on Vista (based on absolutely no evidence, by the way) another option to consider is Mozilla Thunderbird. If you have Microsoft Office and it includes Outlook, certainly use it.
That's the only advice I have. If this does not help, I don't have anything else for you.

Windows Mail is permanent deletion of messages rather than put it in the deleted items folder
When I delete messages from my Windows Mail, they leave in cyberspace, not in the deleted items folder. I checked the settings of Maintenance, and there is no instructions to delete messages. Thanks in advance for any help that can be provided.
View | Current view. Show all Messages is verified?
If it is, try to compact and repair the database.

Windows Vista mail. Impossible to delete some items from the deleted items folder.
I can delete the new entries, but there are a few video fwded causing w/message does not. the Explorer did the same thing.
In Windows Mail, select 'Tools', then 'Options', then choose the "Advanced" tab (a-wing) and then choose 'Maintenance' and check the 'Empty messages from the deleted items folder' box leaving
This will remove them those ALL - not only some that selections but he should get rid of those who you are having problems with at the same time. I don't know how just select the few with videos.
I hope this helps.
If this does not work or help, please post your question in the Forum programs: http://social.answers.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/vistaprograms/threads where people who specialize in Windows Mail, among other things will be more than happy to help you with your problem.

Delete messages from the deleted items folder
Is there a way to select all and delete all messages in the deleted items folder?
In Windows Live Mail, click the name of the folder in the folders pane, and then click the small "x" appearing next to him to empty the folder.

I get to see all the messages that I deleted in my "Deleted items" folder and when I try to delete the message in this folder I get an error message 'some items in the folder "Deleted items" can not be deleted.' an error has occurred. Also when I try to delete my Inbox it won't move message from 'deleted items '. Any suggestions?
This is probably due to a mismatch between what is in the message store and which think that the database is in the message store. Try to compact and repair the database and see if that fixes the problem. See www.oehelp.com/WMUtil/

I guess I didn't pay close enough attention to what I was doing. I have deleted this email from the Inbox, he went in the deleted file, and I hit delete again before I realized I was remove the wrong message. Is it possible to find this letter or is it really gone forever?
If it's a Hotmail account, you can connect to Hotmail online and use the functionality of recovery:

Windows Mail: "certain elements in the"Deleted items"folder not can be removed."
I've scanned against viruses and software advertising and deleted all my browsing history and cookies. I restored my computer to an earlier date, before I had this problem.
I have 112 deleted messages but when I open the file there is nothing there. When I try to empty the folder I get the above message.

I use the Vista operating system and Windows IMAP email account. I can't empty my account deleted for a week now. I get the same error message everytime I try to empty. It reads "UID Store failed". I couldn't find a definition of a "UID store" using help commands. Where can I find a solution to this problem?

BitDefender quotes only the number of message when identifying an infected file.
On a serious level, have this cold virus in a glass vial in a particular case in a locked box to worry. The same can be said of any anti virus programs anti-virus detects in your trash.
It's just a text document in a remote location that you have already dealt with. If you open it you already have and probably have. Even if you take no action, the virus in this message will not cause a problem. He will sit in it locked box until tinitarry said you ' empty the trash and compact the folders ' is certainly not something to waste your time on and acts as cl; dare to a false positive you can get.
