Loss of wireless - V515W

I have the above printer connected wireless to my Dell Vostro computer via a Netgear router.

Regularly, it loses the connection IE I can print various documents and it will work normally. Suddeenly, and for no obvious reason, when I press print, nothing happens. The "print queue" on the computer shows "no document" pending "." Sometimes, just by closing the particular program (e.g. Excel, Word etc) then reopening, it will work normally again. Sometimes I have to turn off the printer and turn it back on and it will work normally. Sometimes, none of these things work, and I have to restart the computer that normally fix the problem.

This happens in all programs, apparently randomly.

Any help or advice would be much appreciated. Thank you very much.

After 2 iOS updated there is my Wifi doesn't work! Learned the cause I heard it happened to many people, but I always connect with Ethernet anyway so no big thing to me.

However I just did everyday there are couple of more recent iOS update, and now my Mac doesn't recognize / connects with the Magic Mouse and wireless keyboard. ... This is the kind of a cause of problem that I don't have any 'wired' replacements to try...

My only hope means buying another keyboard & mouse so I can solve the problem with the original that came with the computer? ...... I hope not? because this would be an expensive purchase just to change or reset some setting on the computer...

all my devices are apple products and I must say Im starting to loose faith in the company... Cell phone contract is in place and I love the comments that I get new owners of "Samsung"...

  • Loss of wireless connection casual on satellite C660-115

    Hey,.

I have a Toshiba Satellite c660 (2.5 years now, I think) and I have problems with my wireless connection (for 3 weeks now).
Never had any problems with my connection before.

When I use my laptop + - every hour my laptop disconnects Internet and immediately connects again.
My computer is often used for playing games online and after 3 weeks, it's starting to annoy me, because I need to restart the whole game etc...

Now, I have already updated all my WLAN drivers, I have the latest version of the BIOS update, and I adapted my energy profile settings to make sure that my computer is not turning off my wireless connection.

I really think that the problem is on my computer because I have the same problem on 2 different networks.
Don't know what to do, I hope someone can help me.

    Kind regards
    Jeroen

  • Continual loss of wireless connection with Satellite C660

    Hello

I hope that someone out there might be able to help.

I've had my Satellite C660 for about 18 months now. Since the first day we had continual problems connecting to the wireless network. It connects but then lost the connection again a few minutes later, and then after a few more minutes, he reconnects. And the circle continues. An Ethernet cable didn't improve things.

Initially, the problem is solved by leaving the laptop computer charger plugged, randomly that solved the problem and that is not ideal, I went with it because it worked.

We have new broadband services and the router installed and the problem came back now, but this time the fix of power cable does not work, and once again an Ethernet cable does not work.

The laptop is now continues to lose the connection, and it's very frustrating. I have 2 other laptops from Dell, 2 tablets, and they all work very well, never losing connection.

Can someone give me it please advice on what could cause this problem and how to fix it (easily!).

I can't wait to hear your thoughts and thank you in advance for your help.

    Glenn

    > Initially solved the problem by letting the laptop computer charger plugged, randomly that solved the problem and that is not ideal, I went with it because it worked.

I think WiFi disconnects due to energy savings.
As you say, linking the main specifications address the issue. I think because of the connection of the AC adapter, the laptop switches to another profile of power where Wlan energy saving is disabled.

Therefore, I recommend to change the power profile that is used in battery mode.
-> Panel-> power option choose the power profile that you use in battery mode
Now, select advanced to change power settings
You will find an option called settings of the adapter wireless (or something like that)
The mode option of battery and AC adapter must use the performance parameters

I bought a new HP Envy yesterday - tease one with 12 MB of ram and Core I7 so he could handle the challenges, but it seems to be a sheep in a Wolf coat (rather annoying) because it loses the connection Wireless on downloads (especially around 80 mb).

  • Satellite Pro L770-11F - loss of wireless connection

I have a portable Satellite Pro L770-11F recently delivered to me in the context of an insurance claim. It has an AR9002WB - 1NG Wireless Atheros adapt 7 is running Windows 7 Pro 64 bit.

The problem that I am facing is when I download a file from the internet, it stops at random points & is unable to complete the download.

I can't tell when it happens or how it goes as nothing comes on the screen to tell me any problem. Sometimes I find that even if the PC is always connected to the router (D - Link DIR-615 & only 6 feet from the PC) the map only shows theres no connection to internet even if my Xbox is connected & my phone connects.

What makes it more rare is that if I connect to the router via an ethernet cable it never is de-energized & download the files without any problems

The files I download are various sizes of 350 MB to 3 GB, but it seems to do more on files larger than 500 MB so im thinking it's a matter of time/timer or a problem of size of file (wireless only, not connected by cable)

I had a laptop before it & it worked fine & I have never experienced this problem never

I changed the power management settings in the option ncpa.cpl & bang as far as I can tell that the drivers are up to date. I'm sure it's a matter of PC and not my internet & hopefully this week I can you confirm that by connecting to an internet friends & see if the same thing happens.

Any help would be greatly appreciated I have about 14 days left before I can send it to the supplier for an Exchange if it's a hardware problem.

    Thank you very much

    Hello

You said that the Wlan driver is updated, but I recommend you also check Toshiba Wlan portal and compare Wlan driver versions.
    http://APS2.toshiba-tro.de/WLAN/
Here you can find the latest version of the driver.

You should also check the Microsoft power management settings.
There is an option for the WLan to save the power of the dough.
I recommend to disable this option for better performance.

Last but not least, you can check and play with the options that are in
-> Wlan card device manager-> properties-> Advanced tab

Good luck, hope this can be a little help

  • Loss of wireless connection on Satellite Pro L10

I have a Toshiba Satellite Pro L10, with wireless capabilities built-in. I recently bought an ADSL Modem Belkin Wireless G Router. My desktop PC can connect to the internet via cable and cannot therefore have my laptop. However, when I connect to the internet via wireless connection my laptop sometimes everything stops. This isn't something to signal that I'm only about 2 feet from the router, and it is not that I can't connect to the internet, as I am on this at the moment. Is that in a few minutes, the connection will be lost and I can't seem to find what I can do about it.

The other problem is that when I click the icon at the bottom right of the screen, the "Wireless network connection" window opens. Here, it shows the wireless network I'm trying to connect and it shows with a strong signal, but it is almost always said not 'connected '. He said never 'connected', even when I am connected to the net and surf away!

Anyone has any ideas at all?

It sounds a little to the Wireless LAN card is unable to obtain a valid IP address.
These interruptions may occur for different reasons.
But especially the new version of the driver Wlan and/or Bios should help resolve these interruptions.

What card Wlan do you use?
If you are using the Intel Wlan card you can also visit the Intel Web site to download the most recent version of the WLan driver.
Please also compare the BIOS version available on the Tosh site with the version preinstalled on your laptop.

Wlan card properties contain some useful options that could improve the quality of the connection. Energy saving options should also be required to check other functions in the tab advanced and disabled.

  • OfficeJet Pro 8600 Plus: loss of wireless connection, printer does not accept the password wireless

My printer has suddenly lost its wifi connection. It's the only phone connected to my network to do so.

Through the Wireless Setup Wizard to restore the connection. Assistant tells me that I entered an invalid password wireless, that is not true. (I confirmed that all devices connected to the network using the same password).

Reset the router (Technicolor of Time Warner). Reset the printer. The 'Restore default network' done. No luck.

Zero has changed since yesterday, when my printer was working fine. I used the same router for months, do not change any settings. Any thoughts on what may be the issue? A bad update happen?

    Thanks in advance.

My apologies for the late reply. I managed to get this problem resolved by phone to customer service.

The security mode of the router had to be changed to 64 WEP for wireless connection to be restored. According to Support HP, it's a common problem with the routers in Technicolor. There was no explanation as to why the printer has suddenly lost the ability to connect wirelessly when safety was created to WPA2-PSK. The network has been configured this way for more than a year.

I have almost solved this problem on mine (I had read about changing of security in a different post), but ran into a hiccup because of Safari. For some reason, Safari prohibited access to a menu page for my router security settings. You can imagine how boring it is to look at the HP Support use Firefox to access the router and do what a mouse click more, and then I had to make the change. So, if you make this change, be sure not to use Safari to access the gateway of the router Technicolor. Use Chrome or Firefox.

After updating the firmware by the instructions, everything worked as expected until I received the message "upgrade reboot successfully" and I clicked on "continue".  At this time there the indications pointing to reset the router, I did.  But I could not restore the routers settings according to the instructions because I lost my wireless connection and could not properly use the Wi - Fi Protected Setup to restore.  I was blocked because the cell phone was the only computer on the network.  After a few hours and find out I could directly access internet via the modem, I found a solution in the forum that has helped me.  I used a patched my laptop and additional ethernet cable into one of the ports on the router and managed to access my page of the web-based configuration, and everything was good.  Hope this helps someone else and allows them to save time and heartache.

That is right.  You're never update firmware wireless as it says in the instructions to always use a wired computer.

Have you installed Windows 7 device drivers for your make and model. If this is not the case, then go to the support web site factory and download Windows 7 drivers to a folder on your PC and then first install the drivers for the card mother/chipset, followed by USB, SATA, LAN, Audio and all other pilots.

External wireless devices usually come with their own software and the driver which you should be able to download from the web site of the manufacture of wirelsss.
