However, the order in which the steps have been completed can cause some problems. Therefore, I will be having repeat you some of these measures to ensure that the appropriate driver is being used.

  Step 1: Reset the printing system and uninstalling the driver:

  It is crucial for the repairs we have a clean slate to work with. Therefore, I'll take you reset the printing system and Uninstall the drivers for your HP Officejet. Please click here for instructions on how to perform the reset and uninstall. Once the site opens, select the drop-down list for 'Mac OS X v10.6, OS X v10.7, OS X v10.8 and OS X v10.9'. Then, please follow the steps in the method 1 and method 2.

  Once steps have been taken, please proceed to the next step.

  Step 2: Check and repair your Mac disk permissions:
