  • Document from Windows Media Player AND MS Windows open on the same screen

    Hello.

I'm doing a very long media (recorded voice) transcript of court recorded on Windows Media Player in a document typed on MS Word (using Windows XP).

I would like to know if it is possible to have Windows Media Player and my document strikes MS Word open on the SAME screen.  I am currently switch between two programs using my bottom toolbar.  It is extremely time consuming and not very well.  Ideally, I would like to open my Windows Media Player, in a small screen on the right upper side of my MS Word document.  This would allow me to work out of the same screen without having to click will result in my bottom toolbar to switch between these programs.  I'm sure that I explained properly :-).  ANY help, suggestions and advice will be highly appreciated.

    Kind regards

    AJS

You should be able to do it by opening the two programs, then right click on the taskbar and selecting "Tile Windows vertically".  Just make sure that they are only two open programs.

This screenshot shows WMP and WordPad, because I do not have Word installed, but it should work exactly the same thing:

  • Am I duplicating music clip-zip when I download the entire file of MUSIC from Windows Media?

On my Zip Clip with a micro 32 card: using Windows Media, I downloaded my whole 'MUSIC' of the file to the device.   Now that I've added more music in my Windows Media MUSIC file, download the entire file again for "updating" of new music, than i've got, or will I be duplicating what was there before?

It seems terribly painful to have to selectively add new music, checking back & comes to see what is already uploaded on the Clip-Zip.

If you use the 'sync' feature in WMP, it will add only what is new or changed in your music on your computer folder. Note that this method is a double-edged sword; It will also remove all the files that you may have removed the record music from your computer. This is not a good thing.

  • Protected by digital rights management and cannot add music from windows media player to windows movie maker

Original title: I can't add music from my windows media player to my windows movie maker?

I made a video with windows movie maker and when I tried to add music from my windows media player, I got a message that says that my music is protected by digital rights management and it would'nt I will add the music.i have made a film before, and I could add music.the music in my Media Player is from my own cd collection. then how will I can't add music to my windows movie maker?

Movie Maker probably only supports unprotected WMA files.

WMA files will be protected if they were torn apart by WMP with the copy protect music setting (Options of WMP - music Rip) turned on. For an unprotected WMA, you will need to re - rip track, after being assured that this setting is disabled.

  • Unable to sync music using Windows Media Center and Windows Media Player will not open

Media Center will not sync music!

I recently opened Media Center and I had no music in the library. I have constantly played music from the library so I didn't know what is happening. When I try installing the library again once it tells me that a necessary component for Windows Media Center is not available. I have not changed or downloaded something different. I went to check if Windows media Player is the multimedia file sharing. The message I get from that is, basically, that something is missing.  Now my Windows Media Player is not even opened. I wonder if my Zune Player (80 GB) has nothing to do with the problem. I charge my player when this has happened, but I do this all the time so I am at a loss. I went to the page "problem reports and Solution." It is the symbol of the Media Center window and says that the problem is caused by Windows. The solution is to update to windows; which I am fully updated. I tried to restore the system to an earlier date, but that doesn't work anymore. I'm at a loss to know what being of any help would be appreciated.

As a side note video playback, TV and photos also works very well in Media Center.

    Thank you

    Shay

    Thank you, Shay

    Hi Shay,

You can try the following steps and check the result:

Step 1: Run the sfc scan to repair system files missing and corrupt.

    a. Click Start, click programs, accessories principally made, right click Guest and then click Run as administrator.

If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password, or click on allow.

    b. type the following command and press ENTER: sfc/scannow

The sfc/scannow command. analyzes all protected system files and replaces incorrect versions with appropriate Microsoft versions.

For more information, visit this link:http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929833

If the problem persists, try the reconstruction of the library:

Step 2: Library rebuild Windows media player.

This problem can also occur if the library is corrupted. Rebuild the library and check if this solves the problem.

    Follow these steps:

    1. exit Windows Media Player.

    2. click on start, run, type %LOCALAPPDATA%\Microsoft\Media Player, and then click OK.

    3. Select all the files in the folder and then click on Delete on the file menu.

Note: You don't have to remove the folders that are in this folder.

    4. restart Windows Media Player.

Note: Windows Media Player automatically rebuilds the database.

If this does not resolve the problem, disable the Windows Media Player database cache files. To do this, follow these steps:

    1. exit Windows Media Player.

    2. click on start, run, type % LOCALAPPDATA%\Microsoft, and then click OK.

    3. Select the Media Player folder, and then click on Delete on the file menu.

    4. restart Windows Media Player.

  • try to download music from windows media player on my pc to my phone, my pc says is music to my phone, my phone says my playlist is empty. What should I do?

Just got a new phone and I'm trying to download music I have on my pc to my phone. I think that my phone do not support my Media Player playlist. How can I change the format on my pc so its compatible for my phone?

    Hi KathleenBrewster,

    1. What is the brand and model of your phone?

    2. what type of music files you want to transfer?

If you try to convert the format, you can use your favorite search engine to download third party software to convert the format that is supported in your phone.

Note: The use of third-party software, including hardware drivers can cause serious problems that may prevent your computer from starting properly. Microsoft cannot guarantee that problems resulting from the use of third-party software can be solved. Software using third party is at your own risk.

  • How to put music from windows media player in itunes

It is music that will not play in my itunes library. There O with! inside. The music went to windows media player. I don't use windows media player. I want my music in itunes so that I can put it in my ipod. iTunes keeps giving me update. Complicated the thing. The only good thing is the Internet radio.

If you know where your files are stored on your machine:

-in iTunes file / add the thread to the library, then place you where your files are stored. Click on the first, hold the SHIFT key and click the last. Click OK and let iTunes do its thing.
    Or
If you don't know where they are stored, search for Windows using *.mp3 that the asterisk is a wild card and so the search will all throw your note. mp3´s where they are then iTunes as above.
These files with the. next to them means iTunes has heard of them but don't know where they are stored. Simlpy you must re - add to your iTunes library.
    See you soon,.
