Lost bookmarks and passwords
I have windows xp on my system and kept getting the blue screen of death, so I had to reinstall the operating system.
I went in the region that stores the records firefox and thunderbird and saved on another drive.
I reinstalled windows and then transferred the two files above and thunderbird works fine it has all my data, but my firefox is having issues
The record shows all the profiles I have but when I open firefox it does not show my words of past recorded or bookmarks, it shows only the default bookmarks
I can't find my password or the Favorites anywhere.
They should be in my profile folder, but they are not there. Any suggestion where they are? or have they not been saved in the firefox folder where is required profile?
Its ok, thought about it, he kept the substitution of the file with the default password.
I created a new profile and pasted in, works now
Bit confused, but at least something not lost anything

I uninstalled aurora and now all my favorites and passwords are left of firefox 4, how can I recover my bookmarks and passwords?
Sorry you have coming.
See the attached screenshot. If you selected the option to remove my Aurora (nightly minefield, Firefox) the personal data and customizations you deleted all your profiles for each version you have / had installed. You can try to use a program for recovering files, like Recuva, to see what can be salvaged.
The bookmarks to the file places.sqlite , or among the backup of bookmarks Favorites-aaaa-mm-jj.json files (10 are stored). Regarding your passwords, you need the file signons.sqlite and signons3.txt file.

Lost bookmarks and tabs after upgrading to Firefox 12
Against my better judgment, I've upgraded to Firefox 12. Immediately, all the bookmarks have disappeared. Whenever I started Firefox, I got a 'new tab' with nothing else. No favorites. No memory of the previous tabs. I did a restore and thought I had fixed it since everything is back, however once I closed Firefox and it started again is towards the Virgin Firefox with nothing and 'new tab '. I was already on Firefox 10 and with great reluctance ever to level, but I've updated another computer to version 12 without problem so I said ' this the heck, worked once should work again. " Evil. Unfortunately, this is my main computer. Help, please.
One possible cause is a problem with the places.sqlite file that stores the bookmarks and history.

Refresh wiped out all the bookmark and browser settings
Firefox suggested I do a Refresh to speed up the browser etc. I did it and everything has been wiped out. Firefox logo appears in the start bar but when I click on it see no firefox browser, totally empty tabs. All the bookmarks wiped out all three browsers I use: Firefox, Google Chrome and Internet Explorer. I'm totally in trouble.
When you reset Firefox and a new profile is created and some personal data (bookmarks, history, cookies, passwords, data form) are automatically imported and the current profile folder will be moved on the desktop to a folder "Old data Firefox".
Installed extensions and other customizations (toolbars, Pref.) that you have made are lost and must be redone. It is possible to retrieve the data from the old profile, but be careful not to copy the files corrupted to avoid transporting more problems.

Do a clean reinstall and delete the program folder before Firefox to (re) install a new copy of the current version of Firefox.
- Download the full Firefox installation program and save the file to the desktop
https://www.Mozilla.org/en-us/Firefox/all/
If possible to uninstall your current version of Firefox to clean the Windows registry and settings in the security software.
- Do NOT remove the "personal data" when you uninstall your current version of Firefox, because this will remove all profile folders and you lose personal data such as bookmarks and passwords including data profiles created by other versions of Firefox.
Delete the program folder Firefox before installing newly downloaded copy of the Firefox installer.
- (32-bit Windows) "C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\"
- (Windows 64 bit) "C:\Program Files (x 86) \Mozilla.
- It is important to remove the Firefox program folder to delete all the files and make sure that there is no problem with the files that were the remains after uninstallation.
Your bookmarks and other personal data are stored in the Firefox profile folder and will not be affected by a uninstall and (re) install, but do NOT delete personal data when you uninstall Firefox which removes all Firefox profile folders and you lose your data.
If you keep problems also create a new profile.
It is possible that your security (firewall, antivirus) software blocks or limit Firefox or the process of plugin-container without you inform, possibly after the detection of changes (update) for the Firefox program.
Delete all rules for Firefox and the plugin-container in the permissions list in the firewall and allow your firewall to ask permission to get access full and unrestricted, again to install for Firefox and the plugin-container and the update process.

Currently on Vista 32 bit OS. Using HDD COSTS I run Windows 7 64-bit... You want to save all about external hard drive to the new HARD drive.
FIREFOX passwords, bookmarks, cookies, maybe even of the parameters?(1) able to backup 32-bit firefox tips and restore/copy of Windows 7 64-bit?
((2) all the locations of files to back up - bookmarks, passwords, ect..)
What method to use to get the new hard drive for windows 7 64?
Copy the files/folders to a new location in windows 7?- Know a lot / all (?) of application data cannot be used from 32-bit to 64-bit, but there must be a way to not lose all my data of user firefox (especially the bookmarks and passwords!)
Thank you
Even on Windows 64-bit, Firefox is a 32-bit application, then your data will be used. It is easier if the version is the same on both (for example, Firefox 3.6 to 3.6, Firefox 5 to 5).
Check out these articles:
Back up your information (You can copy the folder of your entire Firefox on a USB flash or other external media player profile. (Or both!)

If I turned on the lost mode and erased my iphone, password to unlock will be disabled?
I lost my iphone. If I turned on the lost mode and erased my iphone, password to unlock will be disabled?
There will be no access code, but also no data on the phone, so it's okay. Cannot use the phone until it is activated, which will require your password Apple ID.
You can receive text messages saying that the phone has been found and asking you to verify your Apple ID, or to connect to a Web site with password Apple ID. These are fake, just try to get your password to activate the phone stolen.
Do not remove the phone from the list of devices in iCloud.com

BlackBerry smartphones lost the username and password
Lost my username amd password to log in to the desktop software. How do I get there? Why can't blackberry just told me? !!! I have not found any access to "changing the password".
When you say desktop what are you referring? The Blackberry Desktop Software doesn't have a name and password to use. If you connect a Blackberry that has a password and Desktop software will ask for this password if you connect the device.
