  Recently when I finish editing a picture in LR5, I noticed that the detail of the image have been tarnished down and blurry when it was open in the develop module.

  Ive double checked everything from the color space, image format, quality level, even tried to download one of the images exported on my site in the hope that it was something wrong with the preview, but it looks the same.

  Only other thing I noticed when I discover the image in 'library' mode, it loses detail as well as the exported version. Only when its in "develop" mode is when it shows the real detail and treated quickly blacks I upgraded. And it didn't used to do this. So Im hoping that I've accidentally changed a button and it didn't...

  If anyone has information or can point me in the right direction of something that can help solve the problems or solve this problem, I would really appreciate any info!

  The library and export modules use a more accurate algorithm that the module development of resizing. Normally the previews of module development and library will look nearly identical to the less than 1:1 Zoom mode (i.e. Fit view). When they are not it is generally an indication that excessive sharpening and/or insufficient Luminance Noise Reduction is applied to the image. This causes the image to appear "lighter" and "weaker" in the library module and files for export because of excessive noise.   This set of pictures were probably shot with an higher in the camera ISO setting (> 800 ISO). High ISO images usually require a 25 Luminance Noise reduction setting, or even higher if the image file is underexposed.

I unplugged the external hard drive, PC rebooted. Start continued without external devices.  I reconnected it the external hard drive upon arriving at the office.

  As your subject what I understand you face split screen problem when opening word document in e-mail, so it is called reading pane. You can disable it from within Word, click on start-> all programs-> Word 07-> click the Ribbon on the upper left-> select the Word Options-> Popular => uncheck «attachments open in full screen...» ».

  I had this happen to me last week and never knew why. What also happened in my region of the Eastern United States, is that I could not get into these forums either. It might be possible that Microsoft is the maintenance or upgrading their servers in your area. My problems resolved themselves after 10-12 hours or more and it led me to the 'edge of madness' trying to solve this problem, while it was happening.

  A lot of time and effort was exercised in an attempt to find out WHY. I wanted to not just fix the symptoms. It concerned me greatly as a basic function of the operating system does not work.   So I downloaded the MS debug tools and confirmed my suspicion of dllhost.dll using REGEDIT to set debugging on that.
  To cut a long story short, it's DivX 7.2 which caused me grief.  In particular, the file DivXDecH264.ax 'has an access violation - code C0000005 (first chance).  It has been autonomous in DivX Plus DirectShow Filters.     Thus, when it has been deleted (starting other Articles to original install DivX) through Control Panel of configuration/programs and features my system worked perfectly well.

  auggi, when I got back on my colleague's PC, I thought I would test to see if the feature didn't always before considering saving data dumps etc, and it worked fine!

  I left it overnight with instructions for the lady who uses the PC to test this morning and see if it's all workers, and it is still, it seems that the fix does not immediately solve the problem of browser, but there later - maybe after a second reboot or something... very strange!

  In all case, this matter can now be considered closed, so all that remains for me to say thank you very much for your help, you are amazing :)
