  Hello support forum,

  I suddenly lost sound through the speakers. I checked the audio drivers, audio and all controls. He looked at the work, I could not hear the sound, but when I plugged in the headphones, to my surprise, I could hear the sound.

  Please suggest me, what could be the problem behind all this. It is a hardware problem or software problem and how to get out of it.

  Not easy to say but I think that there is a hardware problem. All parameters of the volume control affect the speakers and headphones. If the headset works perfectly, I guess there is a problem with the speakers.

  Your device is not old and warranty should still be valid. Contact the customer Service of your country partner and let check the device.

• Equium L40 - lost sound in the headphone

  Hi, hoping someone can help.

  My current audio driver is Soundmax Integrated Digital HD Audio. And from what I remember forever. I downloaded it several times on the Toshiba site for my computer and it always comes back to this driver.
  The problem I have is that somewhere along the line he lost his in the helmet. I can say is if I have a hardware problem or if the plug is broken. I installed Windows 7, but the problem was there when I got the original program of Vista installed.

  A few things, my system tells me (not sure if it helps)

  Location 0 (internal high definition Audio Bus)

  If I can't solve this problem because it's taking someone can tell me of another line to listen to I could use please? possibly to USB.

  I think that if the internal speakers work but not the external speakers or headphones that it seems to be a hardware problem. You also verified that the windows audio audio output port settings?

• BlackBerry smartphones to find a Blackberry lost using headphones?

  I lost my Blackberry Pearl 8130. I just paired my H700 headset with this phone. I had Verizon temporarily disable the service for my phone, so I can't call to make it ring, but I can use my H700 to find... Or so I thought.

  I would have lost in one of the 5 places:
  1. my apartment/handbag
  2. my car
  3. my apartment parking
  4 car of my coworker/carpool buddy
  5. the lot of company

  Using the bluetooth, I wasn't able to get the usual answer to "Say a command" but a beep up to what I had in my colleague's car this morning when it's finally "say a command" when we were on our way to work about 200-300 feet from my apartment complex. The strange part is that when I searched under the passenger seat on arrival at the car park and could not find, I tried the H700 and I only got a beep. So my question is:

  If my H700 is only associated with this particular phone, is it more likely that the phone is always in my colleague's car? If so, why it only beep when we got to the lot of carpooling as opposed to on the road about 200-300 feet from my apartment complex?

  I found it in my colleague's car...

  Find it, it wasn't just under the passenger seat. He was under the seat and had slipped into this strange plastic piping/conduit under the seat where you couldn't see it or feel it. When my colleague gave me after work I got a flashlight and took a look in the plastic/conduit pipe and of course he was there. I've fished with a metal hanger and the rest is history.

  If-, the moral of this story is that you can really use a paired Bluetooth headset to isolate a lost BlackBerry as much as you can cut it down to a handful of choice.

• Plug headphone jack lost. Where can I get more?

  I tried to keep hold of this thing until I can get a BT headset, but of course, I managed to lose. I'm worried about wearing the W450 as my watch 100% of the time it incase rains, or when I wash my hands, or even sweat may get into the hole of the plug. Any ideas where I can get replacements?

  If you bought it in an Apple Store reception could have been delivered by electronic means. Otherwise a hard lesson on the importance of making an effort to keep receipts for items of value when you know you can get your hands on them later. I also tend to keep packaging for awhile in case a defective item must be returned within the warranty.

• Audio for internal speakers on HP620 lost

  I lost the sound on my HP 620 laptop. In the control manager and device Audio everything seems perfect: drivers are visible and it is stated "this device works correctly. I can see the green bar in moving Volume control when I test audio, BUT nothing out of the internal speakers.

  There are two features in Audio playback:

  Speakers/headphones IDT High Definition Audio CODEC and

  IDT High Definition Audio CODEC, headphones (real time data).

  I tried to uninstall the device speakers/headphones, download the latest version of the driver from HP and install again, but no luck.

  When I connect the computer to the TV via HDMI the sound works fine.

  Now, the only big change I can think of is an update of the BIOS this HP Support Assistant made on June 2. Sound problems started before that.

  I haver a HP 620 serial number: {deleted personal information}, product number: WT249EA #UUW, Vista 64-bit.

  It is for those who have trouble on HP speakres.

  I have a problem that does not work my speakers, ut I have sound when I connect the headphones. I tried everything, reading on the web and encourages all solutions, but nothing happens.

  Finally I just blow into the headset connector and use tootpick to clean the inside of the connector.

  The inside of the connector, there is litlle relay. When the headphones are connectet who relay turning off the speakers and spend his helmet. So, if there is dust this relay can stay in closed mode and its cannot 'go' to the speakers.

  So, I hope that Martin will help you with your problem!

  Did you install software or drivers for the headphones? Maybe try to uninstall these drivers.

  Reinstall the audio driver of G50 can also help.

  If you have Skype installed, check the audio settings in Skype. It may be taking control of the volumes or entered.

• HP Pavilion 15 t: only hear one ear with headphones - and its low general.

  After that the last updated Bios, I have lost my sound and had to follow another thread to uninstall and reinstall the drivers. Then I had audio but unacceptably low volumes. I just did a hard reset and I have more volume, but not as much as I think I should be I'm hearing super sensitive. He has blows me out of the room at the top. However, because my computer is relatively new I had not used the helmet until after this problem.  I have so no way of knowing if the BIOS change made me only able to hear one side of the helmet. I assumed it was an old set of headphones and bought another pair. This is not the case. I use Windows 8.1 which came installed on my computer not an update I did. All drivers and updates have been checked to ensure they are later. I have audiobeats.

  Just tested on my iPhone and even with a headset plugged in, audible alerts still sound.

  Just something that can help others - I recently Preview in the BIOS and disabled startup secured, as well as activate debugging USB in an effort to solve my problem of not being able to recharge the Tablet by simultaneously connecting USB OTG devices. Not had any effect how to solve this problem, but instead introduces another problem.

  After that, I lost all the sound elements of the headphone plug - instead, I have only heard comments and interferences.

  I suspect that this fact was to activate a data output that technicians headphone plug type can use to debug and diagnose problems.

  So, I just bought my new iPod yesterday. Everything worked fine for awhile, until what I plugged the headphones that came with it. He seemed a little as it didn't fit right.   -Try another pair of headphones or check your headset works OK I have another device. Maybe you have a defective pair of the headphnes

  -Try to clean out / blow the headphone jack. Try to insert/remove the plug a dozen times or more. There is a small switch in the headphone jack that disconnects the speaker when the headphone jack is inserted.

  Fix for iphone headphones Bug

  Try the following to rule out a software problem

  -Also check settings > General > accessibility > hearing. Make sure that the sound balance is not defined completely in 'R '.

  -Reset the device iOS. Nothing will be lost

  Reset the iPod touch: Hold down the On / Off button and the Home button at the same time for to

  ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.

  -Reset all settings go to settings > general > Reset and tap reset all settings.
