lost key windows 7

Hi, I lost my product key of Windows 7 student copying of digital river. I have the date I bought it and my order number. I went on the site from digital river to retrieve a new code but the school address I used in 2009 is longer in use. How can I get a new product key or get my old back?

Study of wells in the findmyorder site should always be possible with the old-school email address just to have access to the product key.

For Digital River: go to www.findmyorder.com and pick up your order or you connect to your account information for this site. You'll need your order number and the password of the account used to purchase online or your e-mail user name and last 5 digits of the credit card used to make the purchase.

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/what-is-the-Windows-certificate-of-authenticity

    Option 2:

If your recovery partition is not available or damaged, you must contact the manufacturer of your computer, and request that a defined recovery disk you can use to reinstall Windows 7. They could practice a small shipping and handling. This will exempt the need to also use the product key.

    Option 3:

If neither options 1 or 2 is possible, then you will need to invest in a new license of full version of detail.

New computers coming often pre-installed with Windows 7 have what is called a recovery partition. This is used to reinstall an operating system in the case of a system failure. To access it, you need to start when you start your computer by pressing a function key. This can be either F1, F2, F9, F10, F11, F12 key DEL or tab. See the manual that came with your PC for instructions on how to reinstall Windows.

This is how the recovery partition is accessible to most popular brands...

For Dell, press F8 on the keyboard until the Advanced Boot Options menu appears on the screen.

For HP, press F11 directly after switching on the device

For LG, press F11 directly after switching on the device

For Toshiba, press and hold "0" BEFORE and during the power upward

For Acer, press and hold ALT + F10, as soon as you see the logo

For Asus, press F9, as soon as you see the Asus logo.

For Samsung, press F4 to the power upward...

For Fujitsu, press the F8 key directly after the power

Advent, restart your computer. Then, press F10 repeatedly until the message "Starting system recovery"

Sony VAIO, reboot and press "F8" or "F10" repeatedly until the screen "Advanced Boot Options".

If so, the key will be in the electronic invoice that you received when you purchased the upgrade. Make copies and keep it somewhere safe. If your new computer came with win 8, you don't need a key. It is already integrated into the bios and your windows is activated at the factory.

  • I lost my Windows Vista Premium SP1 CD!

Yes as the title: I lost my Windows Vista Premium SP1 CD! But I still have my product key. What should I do?

    Oh Vista Home premium!

    Hello

Contact the computer manufacturer and ask them to send you to vista recovery disks to reinstall the operating system back as it was when you bought it

they do it for a nominal cost of $

also ask them if you have a recovery partition on your hard drive to get back to the way you bought

you would normally press F8, F9, F10 or F11 or Alt + F10 or 0 to start to start the recovery process according to the manufacturer

Ask them of the exact key sequence

or borrow a vista microsoft dvd; not a HP, Acer recovery disk etc

Make sure that you borrow the correct 32-bit or 64-bit microsoft dvd to your computer

they contain all versions of vista

This is the product key that determines which version of vista is installed
