Lost my ringtons sample blackBerry smartphones

I made an update to Word Doc and I lost all my samples rigntones.  How can I get them on my "BOLD" again?

I do not understand your question?

you already had an old OS (4.2 or 4.3) with ringtones from BlackBerry.
You did the upgrade so now you have OS 4.5 (which includes a light version of Docs to go).

ringtones are gone.

in this case, it is normal: ringtones belong to the older operating system and are not present in the 4.5 OS. You can try to find them on the internet in the form of regular ringtone files.

  • Ringtones for blackBerry Smartphones can be created from own music library?

Hi, I'm new to the Blackberry World and still learning to use my smartphone functions.

I don't like all the ringtones that are provided and would add new ringtones to my 8130.  Can someone tell me if ringtones created with music in my own library, ipod or CD?  If yes how can I do that (in the simplest possible steps).

    Thanks for your help!

There are third-party applications that can do it. Just do a google search for "create my own ringtone. Good luck!

  • Ringtone to blackBerry Smartphones torch arbitrarily shuts

Goodday, I noticed there were several other cases reported for this question. There was a 'posted' solution that had no effect on my problem. I was forced to remove the battery to reboot my BB Torch several times per day, for all the past six weeks, so that the ringtone works properly on incoming calls. I checked and re-checked the profile settings, without finding anything wrong. It sounds fine for a while, then stops. Very irritating for me as well as for customers who call me and gets no answer!

I am pleased to say that the Blackberry have solved my problem; the phone was less than a year old, and therefore still covered by the warranty. I got to the holding of the retail where I bought it and it was sent to Blackberry for repair. In fact, it was not repaired but replaced by a new device.

  • Ringtone to blackBerry Smartphones access to saved on the SIM card

I recently acquired a Blackberry Curve and kept my old number/SIM. Before inserting the SIM card, I saved a few rings on it and now can't access set as a rington.

Can someone help me out here?

    See you soon

Having had other 'games' I found how do:

Went to the advanced option menu button then the ringtone setting (normal, phone off, vibrate etc) button and show tunes. This takes me to the SD card, which I guess is my SIM card (or what was my SIM card in the old phone) and I can then select the melody to set like the ringing of the phone.

    Thanks for advice.

I found a file named "LoaderBackup-(date)", and I guess this is the backup of my settings, but how can I recharge it now?

    Well... that's what you want.

    Open Desktop Manager > backup/restore > advanced.

On the right will be your BB device. On the left, your computer. If the backup loader does not automatically appear there, click Open (above the left window) and go to where you know that the backup of the charger is located...

Once it is loaded in the left pane, select the databases on the left and click on the arrow to the right (in the Center) to pass these databses in the unit.

    And follow the remaining instructions...

  • Reset custom ringtone Contact blackBerry Smartphones and Messages

    Hi all

I am not entirely new to BlackBerry, but I do not have a problem in my Contacts.

When I install a utility notification message personalized for a contact, how can I reset that?

There is no button, option etc. for this.

I played with the options and then discovered that it is permanent for all the messages I get from this contact. That I don't want.

    Any help apprectiated.

You should have a SOUND profile icon. Click that and then scroll down to SET ring TONE ALERTS. A click on that and the settings. Be sure to SAVE before you back out.

  • Problem of Volume ringtone to blackBerry Smartphones

I did everything as the instructions say online and printed documents.  I went to the AT & T store.  My volume also shows full volume but it's really about half.  It was hard as I had to put down now I can't hear same ring from the next room.  All settings have been checked and rechecked.  If anyone has had this problem and if so how to solve?  Also, my speakers is so low that it is basically useless.  The phone is around the age of 6 months.  It's insured, but heck, I don't want to throw and get a referb.

    Thank you

Thanks I'll try, I think I know who total, you're talking about now.  I was looking for the back flat.  I will call AT & T today because it is under warranty AND I have insurance, so be it, it is covered.

PS. the folded postit has failed.  I see that my back is not as tight as it once was. However, even if you hold very tight and someone calls you it is not any more fort.

I see a new phone in my future. I love my BB "BOLD" and all its features a lot more than the iphone hype, but this problem has really got me angry because it is such an expensive piece of equipment.

    Thanks for your help.

If you don't see it still, look at the Options > advanced > Applications. Do you not see it listed there?

    Help.

Hi and welcome to the Forums!

What you need to do is to find, on your PC, the IPD file created when you backed up. Search your entire hard drive *. IPD. Then use this file as the source of a restoration of your new BB (choose ONE of these KB, depending on the version of the RIM Desktop software you have already installed on your PC):

    • KB23680 How to back up and restore data from BlackBerry using BlackBerry Desktop Software 6.0 smartphone
    • KB10339 How to use BlackBerry Desktop Manager 4.3 to 5.0.1 to restore data from a BlackBerry smartphone from a backup file
