Lost uninstall in Add/Remove programs

Hi, I seem to have lost the procedure to uninstall a program in Add/Remove programs. It only shows the function of the Organization in the upper part. I select a program, and there is nothing to click on uninstall. Vista Home Basic is on my Pc which has been preloaded. It worked ok before. Also, I can't go back to a previous restore point. I downloaded Revo for the moment. But I would like to have the original back function. Any ideas appreciated.

Ted.

Thanks, I ran the analysis of the system and this seems to have solved the problem. Can now add/remove programs and have found the system restore.

  • How to uninstall Windows XP Service Pack 2 when I can't find it in Add/Remove programs?

I'm going to erase my computer before you donate. My computer is really old and the operating drive that I said it's for Windows XP with SP 1 Professional.

I tried to reinstall with this CD, but he told me that the service current pack on the computer is newer than the one on the CD, so he couldn't reinstall. I figured out that the SP3 has been installed and uninstalled SP3 from Add/Remove programs box.
Then, the computer is down to SP2. When I went to do the same with SP2, I can't find it in the add/remove menu. I see Windows Updates and a whole bunch of them, but none that said service pack 2.
I went through a lot of pages talking using the term of order etc etc, but nothing works.
Please let me know if there is another way I should try to re - install the original CD so that I can clear all of my computer.
    Thank you!

    My system is;

    Dell Dimension 4550

Windows XP Pro w/SP-3 (version 2002)

    Of photo TakerYN...

This message can be considered "solved!" I was finally able to remove the program with the HP disk. I tried to reinstall (overwrite) the program, but I received a message that the installer has detected that the program is already installed. I wanted to try it manually, so I 'opened' the disc, you click on "setup" and received the same message. At this point, I was ready to try anything and noticed the "Launcher" icon and thought, what the heck, can't hurt to try at this stage, so I clicked it. I wasn't expecting the screen, I had, who said that it would be to uninstall the program. I thought it was too good to be true and easy way (after all), but after that it's over, I checked my Add/Remove programs and my 'problem' program was gone.

Thought I would post this so anyone who might encounter the same problem can try this.

  • How to uninstall Java 2 Runtime Environment, SE v 1.4.1_01 who not listed in Add / Remove programs?

I need to uninstall Java 2 Runtime Environtment, SE v1.4.1_01, which is detected by Java, but is not listed in the window add / remove programs. I already followed all the instructions given by Java, but I could not find the registry after running regedit HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/Software/Microsoft/Windows/CurrentVersion/uninstall.

    Thanks in advance!

    Hi Alvaro_900,

-Which is the key that you can't find?

You can find the uninstaller for Java folder in the C:\Program Files\InstallShield Installation Information folder.

Try to uninstall it from there and check.

  • Remove labview 2009 without using Add/Remove program

    Hi all

I have problem with the removal of LabVIEW 2009.

I deleted some folders in the C drive, folder OR.

Now I can't start my LabVIEW 2009 and it does not appear in my Add/Remove Programs list.

I tried to delete all the folders and files in the C drive under folder OR, but the pop out error message shows that I don't have the authority to do so.

So, how can I remove it completely?

I had intended to reinstall LabVIEW 2009 after that I have completely removed.

    Very much appreciate your help.

That's why I say try to reinstall LabVIEW. He could just do a repair of your installation. Then, you can use Add/Remove programs to uninstall completely.

But when you uninstall completely there will be folders OR remaining. These are things like user.lib.

Have you tried to reinstall the runtime?

One last thing. I don't know how you got your installation so messed up, but remember that if you build a Setup program you should not install on a system with the development environment. There are so many things that can go wrong.
