  I recently bought 'Yes, Prime Minister' through the video store. On my Xbox 6 episodes are available to view, however on my Surface of only 2 are available for display. I tried the option "restore purchases" without result. Please can you explain whether it is deliberate or if there is a solution.

  Similarly, if I search for things on my Xbox like Family Guy, it displays series to buy, however family guy does not appear in a search on the Surface under the video application. I prefer to buy through the Surface because it shows prices in my currency instead of MS Points.

• Why is it not my Microsoft account enough to use the video application?

  When I go in the video application, I am asked to re - enter the password of my Microsoft account. I gives me an option to do that whenever I have activity in the app, no problem, I opted for that. I tried to watch a free video (Xbox video This week), but a screen come to ask my name, address, city, phone number, etc.. Why? I'm not buying anything and I'm already not only in the application with a Microsoft account, I confirmed my password to start.

  So, is that going to happen if I try to use the application for reading my own videos? Why is it not a Microsoft account enough to access the free videos on the application of video?

  Configure the billing information is a process of time and will be used whenever view you free or pay by the job/view services in the video application.

  If you want to submit feedback about this requirement, you can do so by using the feedback option in the application.

  1. Open the video application
  2. Press the Windows key + C
  3. Select settings
  4. Select your comments
  5. Select a return option and enter your comment/suggestion in the comment box
  6. Select submit

• Organize video application

  I added a lot of movies and TV shows to the right folder on the desktop (organized in subfolders), but when I go in the video application, they all show in the "other" section

  These can be organized - for example a section for movies, TV etc.  Then sub divided with - for example a folder for each TV show & season.  For the moment, is somewhat wasteful.
  To clarify, these are mostly copies of DVDs that I own that I transferred to MP4.

  All videos previously owned videos will show up in others. The TV section and movies will include all items you buy or rent Xbox video. If it's something that you feel would improve your experience using the video application, you can submit your suggestions in the comments section of the application.

  1. Open the video application
  2. Press the Windows key + C
  3. Select settings
  4. Select your comments
  5. Select your option to return and post your comment.
  6. Select submit.

• Video application crashes at startup

  Using Surface Pro 3 with the latest updates. The video application crashes at launch.  I have two accounts on the machine, on the other account, video application works very well.  I also noticed the same phenomenon occurs on other machines under my account!

  I tried to uninstall and install without help.

  I tried all methods of diagnosis published such as: using the app troubleshooting tool, and then synchronize the licenses of app.

  In the AppData\Local\Packages\ * ZuneVideo * folder, there is only a single file c:\settings.dat under the folder settings. All other folders are empty.

  Can you help me diagnose the problem?

  Thanks for posting your question on the forum.

  According to the description of the problem, the video application crashes under your account and works very well under a different account on the same machine. You also mentioned that the same issue occur on a different machine under your account.

  This means that the problem is with your account only. So, the workaround I suggest you to reset the password for the account and check if this brings any difference.

  It has just been removed from your splash screen. To verify, right-click on an empty area of your start screen (or swipe up from the bottom on a touch screen) to view the toolbar, and then click applications. So here is the video application, you can right-click and select PIN to start and put it back on your splash screen.

  Otherwise, you can reinstall it from the store.

  To reinstall the filmmaker in XP: -.

• CC for desktop computer has lost the applications Panel. How to fix this?

  I'm on a Mac (Yosemite) and a University wide subscription plan, and everything was fine until a couple of weeks a go. Problems began with a recent update to Dreamweaver which she returned to a status of the trial. Yesterday I updated to Lightroom 5.7, which returned Lightroom to the status of trial as well. No one here knows why and how to fix.

  But now I see that the Panel of apps in the application of CC desktop disappeared, all of the panel, not only the apps as others have described, which makes this application basically useless for me.

  It's a matter of preference, or anything more complicated? How can I remedy to get back on the Panel of apps?

  Interesting. In a desperate attempt, I found and deleted several folders OOBE (Out of Box Experience) on my Mac and backup HD, has revived the CC desktop application and everything is back to normal again. Just lost nearly 4 hours trying to solve this nuisance. Some people here suggested to rename or delete the oobe.db file, but that alone did not do.

  Now, if someone could help me understand why the Dreamweaver update returns my application to the mode of trial and how to solve this problem, I would be grateful.

  When I try to buffer a large video (youtube HD) or the even more lag - to perform a speedtest

  animation for speedtest occupies about 3 images - about 4-6 seconds apart, as with youtube, he puts in buffer 2 seconds - then firefox hangs for about 12 seconds - when he comes back he is fully buffered

  You can check the problems caused by the recent updates of Flash and try these:

  • disable an eventual extension of the browser for Firefox Plugin RealPlayer Record and if installed RealPlayer update
  • disable the safe_mode in Flash 11.3 and later versions
  • turn off hardware acceleration in the Flash plugin

  During the synchronization (auto or manual) files are not removed from the phone or pc, the files must stay in the pc folder whenever you have installed the relationship and on the phone.

  Restart the phone, install the new version of Link (version 07/08/2015) on pc and try again.

• Windows 7 changes the screen resolution when video applications go full screen.

  When I have plenty of screen some video players, that the resolution of the screen on just the ordinary 1080 p 1080 p (native) that has a refresh rate of 60 hz. As soon as I exit full screen it activates again. Would be nice but when it switches the screen is no longer fits the screen and the user interface looks very grainy, the video actually looks very good. Windows Media Player 12 for this, while VLC does not, which leads me to believe its something to do with the way that Windows Media Player makes video (which I think it uses Direct x, which uses VLC OpenGL).  I have this problem on my computer and my brothers computer I customized built. The specifications are very similar, other that my computer has an Nvidia GTS 250, and has a Nvidia GTX 275.  Is there anyway to stop it from doing this?

  Just in case people always have a problem with this problem, pls here's a solution that worked for me...

  I spent the last month trying to solve this problem, and "youemailme" (another thread here) had the correct solution for me! And so Simple!

  I noticed on Blogs that this problem has existed for at least Win98 is not your computer or your operating system.

  The question seems to be programs in your Menu has a different screen resolution to set startup, thereby causing the screen resolution change when you start your computer. This isn't a MicroSoft program error, but rather a question of "settings".

  With me, what worked were 2 things:

  (1) perform the 'clean boot process' as advised by many to determine which granted software was causing the problem... and then.

  (2) right click on the name of the program (as discovered in above) 'problem' in the Start Menu > properties > compatibility.  For some reason, there is an option to "run in 640 x 480 screen resolution", which has been verified.  This program was in the startup folder and the cause of the problem.  Then unchecked the resolution box. No problem.

  In my view, there are a large number of people dealing with this exact problem. I hope that this process of step 2 could solve their problems.

  (ps, just thinking about it now, you might not even bother with the 'clean boot process' but simply go through all your programs in your Start Menu and run the 2nd step explained above. Should work?)
