LOST WIFI

I have a laptop HP with Windows 7 64 bit ultimate 630. After formatting the computer's hard drive, I reinstalled Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit.

Now it cannot connect to the internet through wireless. I tried all the basics: by pressing the button to turn on the WIFI on my keyboard, restarted my computer, which allows to disable the internet connection in the network area, etc..

In Device Manager I see 2 devices linked to the internet wireless:

1. other devices > Network Controller - it has a yellow warning sign then him - the error is to have no driver installed.

2 network adapters > Realtek PCIe FE Family Controller - "this device works properly."

Here is the hardware ID's for the network controller is not working:

PCI\VEN_168C & DEV_002B & SUBSYS_1461103C & REV_01
PCI\VEN_168C & DEV_002B & SUBSYS_1461103C
PCI\VEN_168C & DEV_002B & CC_028000
PCI\VEN_168C & DEV_002B & CC_0280

What should I do? How can I get my Wi - Fi to work again?

Thank you...

Finally I found a way to get my wifi to my laptop... just had to do a right click on the device 'network' and click on the "scan for hardware changers '...   good luck and try that have fun

My Photosmart B109 n - z lost wifi connectivity. I had a loss of power after what my router was not working properly. The router now, OK but I can't see the printer either from my laptop Windows 7 or my HP smartphone application. All other devices are connected OK.

    Chris46,

You can reinstall the software of full functionality for the printer.

HP Photosmart Wireless all-in - One Printer - B109n drivers

After installing the software, check if the category updates apply to your situation.

If you have already reinstalled the printer software, you can try to restart everything, including the router.

If this does not work, you can try using the Web integrated (Embedded Web Server) server to reset / double check network settings in the configuration of the printer.  You can use your browser preferred for it - Internet Explorer or Firefox, both work well with EWS.

  • My Aspire 1830 suddenly lost WiFi. The parameters indicate it is on but there is no network available.

Aspire 1830 (is this right forum?)  During the holidays, my laptop suddenly lost WiFi capability.  Displays the settings WiFi is turned on.  The WiFi light on the front of the laptop shows the WiFi is enabled.  But when I try to connect to something the computer does see no network available.

This problem just at the moment where the new Windows 10 1607 update has been installed.  There's other problems WiFi reports with this Windows Update?

Networks are available, because I can see them with my tablet.

Looks like a good assumption for me! 8 ^) my guess is that the FnF3 combo was matched inadvertently by the fingers occupied during or at the time Win10 was installed. Seriously, this special key combination switches can sometimes be handy if you want to stop or otherwise prevent an online process to start. Also note the use of the icons printed on the top row F keys - they also work in combination with the function Fn key to switch other devices on an off, as speaker, touchpad, screen, switch to an external monitor, etc. Good luck - Jack E/NJ

  • lost wifi interface

My laptop HP (15-n224sa, running windows 8.1) has worked fine since I bought it in the month of April, but last Sunday he suddenly lost access wifi and I struggled to restore it since.

Initially I tried to use the built in convenience stores Windows and HP & diagnostic tools, but that anywhere my
actions and controls are as follows:
-In network connections, I can see the Ethernet and WiFI adapters, but the WiFi adapter is disabled.
-J' tried to activate the WiFi card and get a message 'enabling', but nothing happens.
-J' uninstalled the adapter and restarted in the case that forced Windows to recognize it but no joy - the WiFi adapter
is reinstalled, but can not be activated.
-J' tried to reinstall the driver, but just get the message that I already have the latest version of the driver
-J' updated the bios, more in hope than anything else, no joy.
-netsh wlan show interface gives the message "there are no wireless on the system interface.
-J' tried to use a wifi dongle, but who has the same problem.
-J' have tried restore to the last point of restoration before the problem started, but who do not have and I don't know that it would be
    have solved the problem.
    -Autoconfiguration WLAN service is running.

Ethernet access still works, but it's a pain using a wired connection.

Any suggestions please?  It seems that I have "lost" the wireless interface?  How can I reinstate that? This could be a physical problem rather than a pilot / configuration problem? If so, how could prove that?  Thank you.

Well, I received the replacement wireless lan card and installed.  Turned on the portable, full of anticipation and, still had the same problem.  Called HP and they said that, as long as it is not a plug ' Play device, I had to use HP Recovery Manager to restore the machine back to factory settings and then it would recognize the new card. This means taking backups of all the data on the laptop that this is deleted.  A bit of pain, but did this and I now have a WiFi again.  However, I can't say if the original wireless LAN card was really bad in the first place (and I won't be back to try) in which case the system recovery could have resurrected the wifi in any case, but it's a drastic thing to try. In any case, thanks to HP support Office for their help, I now to reinstall all the software I lost by making the system recovery.  If anyone is interested, here is the link that HP gave me for the recovery of the system, but I'm not sure its applicable to all HP Laptops:

  • iPhone lost wifi

At least once a day my iphone 6 keep losing wifi and do not reconnect unless I have reset or switch back again comes in airplane mode. I have ios updated has and did a restore to iCloud. Thank you

Here's a tip for the user on the problems of Wi - Fi. Suggest from the top and bottom. Maybe one of them will help you.

    (1) perform a forced reboot: hold the Home and Sleep/Wake buttons simultaneously for about 15-20 seconds, until the Apple logo appears. Leave the device to reboot.

    (2) resetting the network settings: settings > general > reset > reset network settings. Join the network again.

    (3) reboot router/Modem: unplug power for 2 minutes and reconnect. Update the Firmware on the router (support Web site of the manufacturer for a new FW check). Also try different bands (2.4 GHz and 5 GHz) and different bandwidths (recommended for 2.4 to 20 MHz bandwidth).

    (4) change of Google DNS: settings > Wi - Fi > click the network, delete all the numbers under DNS and enter 8.8.8.8 or otherwise 8.8.4.4

    (5) disable the prioritization of device on the router if this feature is available. Also turn off all apps to VPN and retest the Wi - Fi.

    (6) determine if other wireless network devices work well (other iOS devices, Mac, PC).

    (7) try the device on another network, i.e., neighbors, the public coffee house, etc.

    (8) backup and restore the device using iTunes (ask for more details if you wish).

    (9) go to the Apple Store for the evaluation of the material.

  • Pavilion 17 - with Ubuntu 14.04.1 - lost wifi after a while - this is repeated

    Sir Hi Hi mss

I have problems with your fresh Pavilion 17: after a short time of good communications my Wifi interruptions - and stops all communications.  The problem is to fix by restarting the computer.

I read that there are the same problems in the field of windoze.

    Can I have an answer.

Yours sincerely ing msee Frank H Duron

    Y2ken thanks for the sugestion.

I considered what to do this update of the kernel, but I have experienced another way:

I'll give a terminal necessary rights and don't forget that Linux and Unix, everything is a file:

    echo ' options rtl8723be fwlps = N ips = N | sudo tee /etc/modprobe.d/rtl8723be.conf

The growing for the late response is I want to be sure - so after two days, everything works well and remain stable.

It is also a proposal on the Ubuntu forum by reasonably - which I also thank for its solution.

    Your

    Frank

  • Ink advantage 2545: 2545 lost wifi

I've had the printer for about 8 months, with absolutely no problem.  It is always on and never had a problem to connect to my Wifi, so far.  I checked and it is set as the default printer.  It's my only printer.

This is the model and serial number.

HP Deskjet Ink Advantage all-in-One Printer 2545

    Model name: A9U23A

    [personal information]

I have a Toshiba laptop running Windows 10 edition 64-bit, memory of 8mg, 1 T hard drive.  Nothing about this has changed since more than a year.

The Wifi router is a Samsung phone that works very well.  I use as the router provided by your ISP isn't picking up their own signal.  I live in a rural area where the provider ISP wireless signal is low.

As I said, I used this setup since I the printer about 8 months with no problems.  I also used the same setup with my previous printer with no problems.  I had not printed anything for about 3 weeks.  When I tried to print something today I got the message that the printer is offline.  I played with it by turning the printer and then turn it on again.  Did not help.  I disabled the router /, did not help.  I have everything (router and printer and laptop) turned on/turned off, and that has not helped either.  I don't know what else to try.

The printer is about 3 feet from the router, then the intensity of the signal should not be a problem, and he has not moved to the month.

When I went to check why the printer is offline, I found a piece of paper in the output tray.  There is no print intentionally, and I don't know if even, which relates to the printer, but I don't believe in coincidences.  Here is the information on the piece of paper.

    Hey @morlaine,

Welcome to the Forums of HP Support!

I see you have some problems with the Deskjet Ink Advantage all-in-one printer connection to a mobile hotspot 2545. As you use a hot spot, I can help you with troubleshooting, but HP cannot guarantee that the printer will still work with your hot spot. That said, this should reconnect the printer:

    1. Connect the printer via a USB cable to your PC.
    2. Click the icon on your desktop with a name similar to the Deskjet 2545 Series printer.
    3. Click on utilities.
    4. Click Printer Setup and software.

This should connect your printer to your hot spot. Please let me know if that it connects. If so, please click on accept solution. If you appreciate my help, please click on the thumbs up icon. The two icons are below this post.

  • Satellite M70: Lost WIFI connection

    Hello!

I have the Satellite M70 and I use integrated WLAN Intel card 2200bg. I have the latest drivers downloaded from the web site of Toshiba and Asus WLAN router with the latest firmware w520g. Connection signal is excellent, but sometimes in fact very often the connection is broken for 5-10 seconds... I download files all the time, so there is no timeout in network traffic.

How can I inspect what is reason of losting connection?
The authentication method or channel mode would be a reason of problems?

    Hello

Please check all other topics in the forum about similar issues with an Intel 2200BG wireless card. I read a few topics, and it seems that the update of the driver with the wireless driver from Intel site should fix this connection.

  • Lost WiFi suite iOS9 updated

Since I ran the update IOS9 on my iPhone 6, wifi doesn't work. I tried all of the suggestions, including resetting the phone completely, but the wifi button is always off on my phone. Any other ideas please?

If you've tried everything, including restore the phone as a new device (do not load your backup file) and the button is always grayed out, it means you have a hardware problem and must make an appointment at your nearest genius bar to see on the repair/replacement options. Good luck.

I have a wifi wireless set up on my TC. It worked perfectly fine until Saturday. Suddenly, it didn't...

    Lost wifi

Don't know what that means. This means that...

Wireless devices can 'see' the wireless network and connect, but cannot get an Internet connection?

Wireless devices can 'see' the wireless network but cannot connect?

Wireless devices can not even 'see' a wireless network at all?

When you say that you "tried everything", which include try an other Ethernet cable between your modem and the TC... and also to connect your Mac directly on the modem to make sure that it works?

Can you provide the serial number and model of your modem?
