loud roar

My computer makes a loud roaring sound whenever I load the game farmville. She does it for all the time I play so when I click on it disappears. What is the cause?

Hi kelwils,

(a) what browser are you using to play farmville?

(b) If you use Internet Explorer, what version are you using?

(c) not the problem only occurs when playing farmville?

If so, then the question could be with facebook. Collate www.facebook.com

The newest game it took place is dark features: the sins of the father. The roar of noise only last about 5 seconds, 10 MAX I tried the source, but could not. Only happens when you play these games, but not always. Have checked with HWmonitor and time, temperatures are OK. Also, run Diagnostics of HP hardware that has not found any problems. What can be? • My headphones are too loud

I just bought a pair of headphones Bluetooth NCREDIBLE1 of RadioShack this afternoon.  When I tried to get out them, I found them to be LOUD.  As in, the lowest volume setting is a little stronger than is comfortable (for me, anyway).  It is only on the Bluetooth setting, however, because when I turned off the bluetooth part and they just plugged my iPhone using the included cable, the volume was like any other pair.  I tried to use the option "volume limit" on the iPhone itself, but it turns out that the headphones have their OWN volume which is entirely separate from the normal volume of the iPhone, and which activates when they are connected!  It's more infuriating, as it is unnecessary to own headphones if I plug them in to use.  I use an iPhone 5, IOS 9.3.2,and 64 GB.

    Hello!

So it seams to be quite a problem for you. I would recommend either by calling tech for the manufacture of support simply asking a fix or a replacement, or turning them and get another pair of headphones

  • W100: speakers too quiet - loud fan

    Hello

I use the w100 - 10 d and I am not amused on the volume on the fan and
the speakers. The fan is too loud and the speakers are very quiet.

Is someone here who can give me some information on stakeholders and their configuration?
In Windows 7 and Toshiba Conf. Panel sound level is on maximum level, but the sound is too quiet.
Toshiba is perhaps to estimate that all users use headphones?

    Thank you

    > Is there, anyone can give me some information on stakeholders and their configuration?
    > In Windows 7 and Toshiba Conf. Panel sound level is on maximum level, but the sound is too quiet.

This booklet is a kind of Tablet PC, a small display 7 I know what speaker volume you expect, but you will not get the same volume as on 15 laptop equipped with larger speakers.
Furthermore, the speakers are not stereo and mono.

By the way; the sound can be configured in the control panel-> sound
Check if all volume controls are set at the beginning.

Try it please change the settings of cooling method.

Open the power settings for the management of the power supply you are using > change advanced power settings > Toshiba Power Saver Settings > cooling method > change two optimized battery options.

It should reduce the activity of fan cooling.

The optical drive of my Satellite Pro C660D - 10 c a very loud vibration ripping CDs...
It's only a couple of months. It does not occur with all CD, but when that happens, I push the door to count and/or drive chassis to tolerate!
    Any similar experience... ?

    Hello

I guess the drive is running with the highest speed while ripping the CD.
    This would cause these vibrations.
I noticed a similar behavior of reader on my laptop Toshiba No.
Since my CD/DVD drive works fine and all discs can be played, I think that it s a hardware problem

I guess you, CD/DVD drive can read discs properly also. Right?
Well, in my opinion you should not be worried because of these vibrations, but of course you can also ask the local Toshiba ASP technician for another opinion

  • Satellite R630-155 - fan is too loud and SSD update

I am the owner of a Toshiba Satellite R630-155 (Core i5-480). My problems are:

    1. the fan is too loud and never stops. In normal operation (navigation and General Office work) there is a constant high pitch noise which is audible three to four meters in a desktop - high load environment, you just can't take it anymore! The fan never stops... even when you do nothing...

    2. the heat is a big problem. The bottom of the laptop is overheated constantly and I have to place on my desk so that the lower left corner is outside the table, so it can breathe fresh air from below - otherwise, the temperature rises and the (noisy) fan is unable to follow. When I work with the laptop sitting on a couch, I place a thick book between the laptop and my legs. The book must be thick (more than one inch) with hard covers, otherwise the heat going through the book!

    3. last (but not least, I will mention the biggest problems here) that's the problem with the installation of the SSD. I bought a used Corsair F80 (80 GB SSD) from a friend, but I was unable to use it with the Toshiba - BIOS not detect the disc. I tried to install all the latest updates for portable and SSDS but I had no success. Then I put the disc and I bought a brand new Zalman 128 GB SSD (SSD0128N1 Sandforce) but I had exactly the same problem. I contacted my local support Toshiba and after much conversation, the only answer I got is that the laptop is not compatible with these SSDS, and it is acceptable by Toshiba and not their problem. They told me that if I need an SSD upgrade I cannot go for the Toshiba SSD that is installed on the portege series, which is sold by Toshiba for a ridiculously expensive price - about $500 for 128 GB. I contacted the European support center and I got the same exact answer. I searched the Internet and found someone else with exactly the same problem with a Corsair 128 GB SSD - he concluded that the laptop detects the SSD after ten to twenty resets. I tried and it was true - after a lot of restarts the detected disk Zalman laptop and I was able to successfully install Windows 7, but the process is unacceptable. Also the drive is rated by the sites official at the speed of an OCZ Vertex 2 128 GB (and a little better), but when I ran a cue point in the Toshiba, the results I got were less than half of the advertised speed. Same reference in another machine of the same disc, resulted in the announced speeds.

Shame for Toshiba...-beautiful design and portability, but all the rest is a big flaw. Their support in non-existent and they do not appreciate their customers. According to me, they stole my money and I will never buy a Toshiba laptop again.

Sorry for the big message, but I need, I warn potential customers. Can anyone help me with any of these problems? You also have the same problems?

    To follow...

    Hey Buddy,

With regard to the issue of fan and the heat: you did it BIOS update? A friend told Satellite R630 too and he told me that the fan with the new BIOS version 2.10 activity is reduced. In addition, the laptop is colder than before so I recommend to install this update. You can download the update of the BIOS here:
    http://EU.computers.Toshiba-Europe.com > support & downloads > download drivers

But before you start the update of the BIOS, you should consider the following tips:
-Run update as an administrator only
-Unzip all files from zip archive before launching the update file
-Close all running programs as the antivirus and firewall
-Make sure the battery is fully charged

With regard to the SSD it s still a little complicated to install 3rd party products and no one can guarantee that these parts would not work. You're always on the side safely with original spare parts from Toshiba.

All you can do is to install the new firmware for SSDS and hope that it works, but who knows maybe the BIOS update will help you also in this case ;)

  • Portege R830-very loud fan that runs until the machine hangs.

My 3 month old R830 fan runs often and hard... and on a daily basis will remain running loudly until finally the machine hangs. .. What is very, very frustrating.

Someone told me he had something to with the security of fingerprint software... go figure!... but anyway I'm eager to find someone who has a solution.

As it is I think the machine is way over rated, because it is only an improvement of the SSD on the orginal R600, which, when it came out was the best in its class. A portable "high-end" disappointing from my point of view... and the so-called 'new' Z series looks a lot like the R600 with a SAME size SSD... so as it seems that I am stuck with this one, I'll try to find a fix for a very annoying problem.

    Hi mate

Please check the settings in the Windows 7 power management!
There you can optimize the CPU and cooling performance module this should help reduce heat dissipation and fan speed
    .
In addition I recommend upgrading the Toshiba Fingerprint Software immediately to the version V1.0.2.32 or higher. In addition, turn off the power save option of fingerprint device in Device Manager.
Device Manager->-> authentic Tec Inc AES1610-> the power management of biometric devices

Here, you will have to remove the mark next to the option called allow the computer to turn off this device to save power. Disable the power saving mode will reduce the life of the battery, so you can check whether or not it helps reduce noise.

  • Satellite Pro L850 - very loud buzzing/drilling noise before crashing

Someone at - he had this? Machine only a few months. Use of any office. Happened about 3 times now.

All of a sudden made a very loud noise - more like a forest road than anything else - then crashes.

This sound is produced by cooling fan or HARD disk activity? Maybe the two of them?

Of course, it is not easy to say what the problem is here, but I assume that a background activity may be responsible for this.
Or have you noticed that some application you use ends by the failure of the system.

  • Home Theater BDV - E3100 ROAR of SOUND system

Whenever I stop Netflix or a video game that I play, or even if I just turn off the sound, I immediately hear a humming noise from the breech of the BDV-E3100 Blu - ray box come to a sudden stop.

This humming noise occurs when I use either the audio settings of the TV for my Apple TV or a video game console. The sound is not constant (or even significantly strong) when the device is used, but when it happens and the audio stops using pause or mute setting, the sound of snoring stops immediately.

Someone has an idea of what this might be? Thanks in advance.

    Here's what happens:

When you play music, movies, or any strong audio device, whirring noise is the amplifier, increasing the speed to provide a sufficient voltage to send the bass of the subwoofer. Bass takes the most energy of an amplifier. Not sure if you remember in the 90s when the car audio aftermarket have been really popular, lights would be less bright on bass, and usually a 1 Farad capacitor would work by storing the tension and release the tension when the amp need on these low rumblings.

Next time you play your audio files through this system, I bet you will notice only when there are serious events. I know it's annoying, but I think that this is part of the system build because mine does as well. And usually you can not hear it if you play with the sound loud enough.

Let me know if this clears up anything.
