  To use read out loud, please open Adobe Reader.

  Go to the View Menu, select 'Read Out Loud' and then 'activate read out loud.

  

  Once back on, go to the view menu-> read aloud & select the option desired (read this page only or read at the end of the Document).

  

  To change the background color of your document, please go to the Edit-> Preferences menu.

  Categories choose accessibility & check replace color Document.

  Now select the color of the text page background & document.

  Click OK to confirm the changes.

• Need to change a file extension to unknown App/Program...please don't ask! Laughing out loud

  I made a HUGE mistake and changed a file type to open to use, now he and many others does not open.  They are called: .ico and .cur files.  They were initially reported having one: unknown or an Application program to open.  This isn't a list anywhere to return.

  Yes, I was just looking around for a new cursor and devastated havok likely to see soon!  These are system files, I want to talk to, good course!

  I need to change as: unknown App / or program used to open them.  But where can I find that?  It lists only IE, Word, Adobe Media Player, etc..  Help?

• Satellite C660 - 23 M - fan runs loudly every 5 seconds

  Hi all

  I bought my first PC Toshiba laptop * 3 days * ago and until this am pleasure other than the cooling fan runs loudly every * seconds * 5 for heaters * 13 seconds *.

  Even my old laptop has never done this in their entire years of use, I feel that something must be wrong.

  Is the laptop faulty? and I would stay there until the failure is caused and my warranty runs out?

  Or y at - it an easy fix? (fingers crossed)

  I use the laptop for a fairly long period of time but do it on a carpet of cooling at all times which is not help.

  Try it please change the settings of cooling method.

  Open the power settings for the management of the power supply you are using > change advanced power settings > Toshiba Power Saver Settings > cooling method > change two optimized battery options.

• My done printer a horrible, loud clicking noise when I click on print

  All-in-one printer, HP Deskjet F4480: my printer is a horrible, loud clicking (3-5 clicks) of noise, just at the time when I click on print.  Once it starts the print cycle, the noise disappears.  The paper version is fine.  There is no paper jam, an ink problem or any other problem that I can diagnose.   I'd appreciate any help to what is the problem and what I can do about it.  Thank you.

• Portege R830-very loud fan that runs until the machine hangs.

  My 3 month old R830 fan runs often and hard... and on a daily basis will remain running loudly until finally the machine hangs. .. What is very, very frustrating.

  Someone told me he had something to with the security of fingerprint software... go figure!... but anyway I'm eager to find someone who has a solution.

  As it is I think the machine is way over rated, because it is only an improvement of the SSD on the orginal R600, which, when it came out was the best in its class. A portable "high-end" disappointing from my point of view... and the so-called 'new' Z series looks a lot like the R600 with a SAME size SSD... so as it seems that I am stuck with this one, I'll try to find a fix for a very annoying problem.

  Anyone have a problem with the fan? Because my fan going stronger for all 2 minutes like 20 to 30 seconds, if the volume is about 15% the fan is louder than the laptop. How can I solve this problem?

  Try it please change the options of cooling method in the power settings.
  Power management open you use > avancΘs > Toshiba saving settings > cooling method > use optimized battery option.

  After making this fan should work not so often and laptop will last much quieter. I use the same settings on my Tecra A11.

• HP 15 ab 522: loud noise of HARD drive

  My laptop (HP 15 ab 522) HARD drive makes squealing noise whenever the HARD drive light flashes white. The noise becomes quite noticeable and persistent when the system boots, the HARD drive light turns to solid white color. HARD drive runs smoothly when there is no indication of the LED on the HARD drive. I understand that whenever the HARD drive is accessible, he makes noise due to the movement of the read/write head but the noise is louder at compared other hard drives in other laptops. • Photosmart 7520 (new) Auto Doc feeder does not work screaming loud noise.

  I just bought this new in box of a second party.  He was obviously nine original bag/Ribbon plastic on the entire unit.  Everything works fine but the car doc feeeder on power unit it is that loud screetching noise sounds like there is always a piece of tape somewhere.  I looked everywhere in TI lifted lids etc.  I had several hp printers and scanners with feeders doc auto know so well.  When you try to use the doc feeder it will move a few short clicks then paper error anyway inseterted, when I click to start a second or third time it advances once again very shortly.  I am handy with tools, etc.. Any suggestions?  Maybe it's under warranty even though I'm not 'original '?

  From your description, it seems that you have done the troubleshooting necessary, but please plan to take a look at the following link. HP Photosmart 7520 e-all-in-one printer series - when using the ADF, one "original jam: clear jam and press OK' Message displays on the all-in-one."

  You will find a not just yet, you will need to complete and could very well solve the problem.

  Hello again acidburn. I did a little research and according to this site which Hardware ID refers to the "card of Bluetooth of Broadcom 20702."

  Another search was this driver for this chipset. It is not listed as being to a specific cell, but you should give it a try.

  Install the driver I've listed above and let me know if it installs correctly bluetooth driver and he gets rid of this "unknown device".

  Have tried turning off sounds horribly loud keyboard on Iconia A3 - A20 in the usual way IE. Sounds - settings - uncheck the key tones. Does not work. Found the only way to stop it is to turn off the speaker symbol on screen powering down. Problem is that, so the volume is completely disabled and can not hear notifications by e-mail, etc.. It's driving me crazy. Would be grateful for any thoughts/solutions to this. Worried that there is a fault that is only a week old.  My other Acer a B1 730 since always fine help please.
