Low sound Volume for incoming calls?

I work in an area that has a constant decibel about 55 to 70 decibels throughout the day. The question that I am running missing phone calls because I can't hear the phone ring above the production area when he is on the ground.

I did a test with a colleague who has the Droid Maxx and another who has a Razr Maxx HD with Nanotubes Ringtone that is ringing loud... very loud ring. You can find it in ringtones. Clarity is not the problem, but the noise level that it can produce to carry the sound is way lower then previous versions.

The Maxx Droid and Droid Razr Maxx HD hit over 100 decibels on phones in the next calls.

Droid Turbo barely touched the 75-85 and struggled.

I think that there should be a standard to test out cell phones before being released on the noise levels. I hope it's something that can be fixed with a software update.

I'll also open a ticket with Motorola Tech support on the issue.

See image for App, I did the test with decibel-O-Meter in playstore

RAZR Maxx HD Image

Please mark for the Mark and Matt or...

By Tech Droid Turbo has a decibel of around 75-85 decibels, and I asked to make a remark that I need at least 100 decibels to hear my camera in a semi noisey environment.

Can I have someone this flag for the brand and or Matt in past a long to the engineers to see if something can be done. If we can't do something can Motorola now put the side of decibel on the SPEC Page that I know what my device will ring to.

Thank you!

  • Different unlock the screen for incoming calls?

This weekend, I noticed that my unlock screen differs for incoming calls. I admit, I was in the cardiac ward at the hospital, but I'm now at home and it's always the same. Instead of throwing away them from side to side, they are upstairs and downstairs. It still works the same, but the layout is different.

Did you perhaps install an app that does this and you don't know that he had this feature?  I think it's kind of cool.  I want my phone to do.  Thanks for sharing the photos too.

  • Bluetooth volume on incoming calls

Connection bluetooth Xperia XA for car (Sony radio/Microsoft Sync) translates in all incoming calls being inaudible, that the volume is set to minimum. Even turning the full radion volume cannot quite hear the conversation. Bluetooth works fine on other phones (Samsung/romaric/Medion tried without problems). It just seems that the Xperia XA is not quite connect properly.  I imagine that it would also for emergency help function of the car so that automatically calls emergency accident. Then there would be some problems of security here as well. If someone else has overcome this?

I had contacts to Support Sony, restored the phone and it seems to have solved the problem. Thanks to the support staff of Sony for their immediate attention.

  • Unplug the headphones of Walkman app silenced all functions of the phone except for incoming calls

I found a bug that caused the alarm become silent. I am able to reproduce consistently and ahd a firend with a different Xperia V confirm.

I use using a Sony build 4.1 version (. 490) with ADWLauncher (but my friend was also able to reproduce this with regular Sony Launcher, also on the 4.1 build)

    to reproduce:

    (1) check base case: all applications closed, adjust the volume to maximum using rocking of the volume on the side of the phone. to release the keys, you should hear a tone giving you the current volume

It also means that the sound works

    (2) plug in headphones

    (3) open app Walkman and listen to a song

    (4) once the track has begun and you can hear in the headphones, unplug the earphones

    track must stop (correct behavior)

    5) press "Home" to return to the home screen

    (6) repeat step (1)... sound is now DISABLED, autour and shows volume knob slides it is not cut, but when I release the button it does not play the sound

critical, it also cuts the alarm

(so if you want that the game alarm for 2 minutes in the future before the departure the sequence above, when it fires it is silent after steps 1 through 6 have been made)

some things that eliminate the effect once it arrives in this State buggy: If you receive a phone call, then he makes it sound and after the call, his resume (no matter what you did with the call - ignore, answer etc, all that is needed is for the phone to ring)

also sometimes re - insert and remove the earphones also restores sound

phone is fully updated from the Google store set to have the latest versinos of applications

I tested this same sequence using other music apps (of rocket, Google Reader Play Music) and the phone has NOT lost his after step (4) and everythnig functioned normally.

This bug seems to be isolated to the sony Walkman android app.

I quite like the walkman for sony hopy app can look at this and fix it with an update of the application itself - as all other music apps I tested are causing not easy

I do not know if this was presented in a recent version of Walkman or the 4.1 update... Maybe someone could test on a pre-version 4.1 phone to see if it still happens

the recent firmware 9.1.A.1.140 seems to fix this problem. was not able to reproduce once I have updated.

    Thanks sony!

Go to settings > personalization > manage notifications, press the tab "All".

Search for InCallUI and check if the box is check.

    Then it should work fine.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones for incoming calls caller ID displaying DO NOT name of contacts (phone number only views)

Hello and welcome to the Forums of Support BlackBerry.com.

It could be one of the three solutions... Try these:

    1. make sure that you set your own country code to the Phone Dialer screen > Options > smart dialing.
Set your country code in this format: "+ xx" where xx = country code. Some countries have two or three-digit country Codes. Do not place not the '+' in the entrance of your contact.
    * In the United States, the value of this country as '+ 1' Code and place your local area code in the appropriate box (this normally the default setting in a new BB).

    2. in the same place, change the length of National number for the number of digits corresponding to your country (since some countries have less than 10 as that set by default in the BB). Check out the total numbers, less country code. Do not place not the '+' in the entrance of your contact.
    * For example, some countries have a total number to 8 (more than 3 for the country code). You must enter '8 '.

    3. you probably have "Content Protection" located on your address book.
Look at the Options > Security > General settings. Scroll down to the content Protection > include addresses = no

  • Setting sound volume for USB speakers

I have Dell AC511 USB speakers attached to the Mac Mini.  When using these speakers, slices of level default volume using volume up/down on the keyboard go straight from muted way too loud for the rest room in the evening by pressing volume up only once.  Is there a way to make slices when you press volume up/down key on the keyboard be more specific?  Using the mouse to adjust the volume (using volume in the menu bar icon or by using the volume slider in the control panel) offers much more granularity.  I would like to have these more granular increases when you use keyboard volume keys down too.

I did not take anything under the sound settings in the preferences of each system or in the application Configuration Audio and MIDI.

    Howdy Alex -.

I understand you want to adjust the volume of your Mac in small increments without having to use the mouse. Fortunately, this can be done in now Option and shift when setting the volume via the volume on your keyboard keys.

    Sincerely

    Hello

You must change in the line-1/2 tab:

    NAT mapping enable: don't-online Yes

NAT keep alive enable: don't-online Yes

Then, you can control the interval keepalive on SIP tab:

NAT Keep Alive Intvl: (def = 15)

  • Adjust the number of rings for incoming calls on Iphone 4S?

After the recent iOS 9.2 update, my 4S rings only 3 x before I miss the call and he goes to the virtual machine. I wonder if there is a setting for this?

You will need to contact your carrier and ask if they will do it.  There is nothing that can be controlled from the iPhone.

  • Low sound volume

When I play a DVD, the volume is so low I have to use headphones.  But when I'm on Youtube the volume is fine.

    Hello

One thing that can help is the following.  Do a right-click the speaker icon in the taskbar and select "playback devices".  Left click the device once to highlight default (it is usually 'speakers & headphones') and then click the properties button.  Click the enhancements tab and put a check mark in the box "Loudness equalization.  Click on apply to save the changes and then click OK in all other windows and see if allowed at all.

  • Name of the Contact to blackBerry Smartphones torch does for incoming calls

I discovered this problem yesterday when my mom called with its Bold 9700. It always shows 'unknown number '. My mommy phone has the same problem too. How would I solve this one? Hope you can help me. Thank you. :-)

    Camus assi,

It could be one of the four solutions... Try these, (the path to the settings may vary on your torch):

    1. make sure that you set your own code to the Dialer phone screen > Options > smart dialing.
Set your country Code in this format: "+ xx" where xx = country code. Some countries have two or three-digit country Codes. Do not place not the '+' in the entrance of your contact.
    * In the United States, the value of this country as '+ 1' Code and place your code in the appropriate box (this normally the default setting in a new BB).

    2. in the same place, change the length of National number for the number of digits corresponding to your country (since some countries have less than 10 as that set by default in the BB).

Scroll down to the content Protection > include addresses = no
    * If you don't see it here, your device operating system handles this differently. Look at the Options > Security > encryption.

    4. go to Options on your device > Security Options > encryption > include contacts the value 'No '.

  • CISCO SPA122 busy for incoming calls

    Hello

    I have a problem with some SPA122.

They are registered, they can dial a number, but they can't receive calls.

In our cause to hang up asterisk SoftSwitch are Busy (0) or Failed (20).

    But ATAs are saved.

    I've noticed 2 things:

    • ATA, registered with a private IP address don't have questions while some ata registered with a public IP address have problems. All the ata, with the address private or public IP had the same configuration.
    • In these clients with ata busy (0) we reset the data and we have the same configuration. In this way, they still run.

Our SoftSwitch Asterisk is MOR by Kolmisoft. They said "it happens when ATA does not respond to requests to qualify. He is redirecting request type. Please check ATA configuration if there is no road or forward together on this. »

We have reproduced the call and checked the trace of the SIP.

Something is not ok with ATA itself. It returns the following:

    302 moved temporarily SIP/2.0

He is redirecting request type. Please check ATA configuration if there is no road or forward together on this.

We use firmware 1.3.5 and attached our config file.

Please, can you help me with this problem?

     00xxxxxxxxx748
     00xxxxxxxxx621

All calls are transferred elsewhere as shown in the response to INVITE captured on top of thread. I see neither occupied nor error response sent to SPA122. So, who the BUSY signal / ERROR you mentioned? It seems that it's Asterisk and SPA122 is guilty here...

Note that the configuration of the joint disclose passwords SNMP to the public, so it's time to change.

Rate of useful advice. It will help others to find solutions.
