Lower to expected output A100

Hello.

I recently bought a Satellite A100 PSAA9E and have been very disappointed with his bass with him.

It is currently set to the highest volume level and is well off the level that I expect.

Is this normal for this machine? All advice appreciated.

Thank you.

Hello

Well, it's not easy to say what low level is because it s your own perception.
You know that the laptop speakers are not very powerful speakers because of the size and you can not compare it with the other speakers.

But still; did you also check the settings in the control panel - sounds and Audio devices?
Here, you can set up different sound controls. Maybe then you will see a difference.

Hello, yesterday I bought a laptop Satellite A100 - 01 L and the sound from the speakers is really low, even if the volume is maximum (both: media player and the laptop actually).

Could someone of you give a tip I can do? I already test the laptop with CD DVD and music, and in both cases is quiet. I think it might be something I have to do in the system (saving mode or something like that)

    Hello

The front volume control is the first one should check what common user
    Put it to max level.
Then, if the sound intensity is not enough that you could check the sound options in Control Panel.
There you can assign all the controls at the top.

    Hi mate,

I assume that you have installed the drivers from the toshiba driver download site. Maybe you should try the drivers 'real' Realtek that work well on all systems, no matter what manufacturer. (So I made very positive experiences with www.realtek.com drivers, since the drivers of tosh sometimes won´t work, Don t know why...)

I suggest to check www.realtek.com, download the drivers from there and check if the problem persists. It s probably just a driver issue related and probably easy to solve with the realtek drivers.

    Welcome and good luck

PS: would be recognizing a few comments if the drivers have worked for you

  • Why has no expected output to the report job history?

    Hello

I use web services BEEP to schedule reports and retrieve them (by e-mail and the history of work report in the web interface) and have had success with it. Today, when I added a new report and changed a few things, I can no longer see or retrieve the output of the report as a result of the scheduled task.

So, to be clear, under 'output & Delivery' for a history of particular job, in the table, the output shows, the only line of the table just text in it who told you: "no available exit. My previous experience, this kind of thing always had a link to the report that was generated.

Here are some of the remarkable things, I changed:

-a different user to the web service BEEP ScheduleService authentication

    -another folder stores reports

-layouts are BI Publisher templates instead of RTF models

Scheduled reports are sent by e-mail (e-mail is the only destination I specify) with success always, so I receive the report by email very well... but I need to be able to get the release of the web interface, after it was sent by email too. And he has not shown when I view the error report work history.

Any ideas on what Miss me which prevents the release of the report to appear in the report job history? Maybe an administration that disables the Central exit by user/folder?

    Thank you...

It turned out that the name of the job was too long. The name of the job may include a maximum of 100 characters.

Each task works fine on its own (i.e. without the other). The problem is that if I start the task of the encoder first and then the task PWM, the latter causes an error:

Error-89137 occurred to the DAQ Assistant
    Possible reasons:
Specified route can not be satisfied, because it requires resources that are currently in use by another route.

    The task name: _unnamedTask<61>

I don't know why this is, but if I start the PWM task first, and then the task of the encoder, it also works. I should also mention that initially I was using counter 0 encoder, which caused a shift in the 100kHzTimebase to Ctr0SampleClock, which, according to the ways of device 9411, is not supported. Yet it worked (in itself). I wonder if this is happening under the hood isn't quite what is shown.

What is exactly the conflict and what can do to avoid it? The reasons for having to use specific modes and the settings (for example, the 'continuous samples' with 100kHzTimebase clock) are rooted in various performance and requirements of optimization that were created in a previous version of our software, so I prefer not to take a completely different path, if some small changes would lead us to correct the problem.

    I appreciate your help.

    Kamen

    Hi Kamen,

The time base of 100 kHz is not a direct route to the counter sample clocks, the device actually uses one of the other counters to complete the road (the routing table is a little misleading here because it shows 2 meter that one always doing road - in fact it will be any available counter):

So in your case, when you start the task of the encoder, it uses one of the other available counters to complete the configured road (100 kHz to ctr2 sample clock timebase).  Of course, she chose meter 3.

Possible workarounds (looks like you have already found one yourself):

1 start the PWM before the task of the encoder task - if the task PWM starts first the counter is already booked and the task of the encoder would choose another available counter to complete its road.

    2. explicitly reserve the PWM task before you begin the task of the encoder (if you need to start the task of the encoder first).

    3. use cDAQ1/_freqout to generate the clock sample 100 kHz signal and use this instead of routing to the time base of 100 kHz to the counter sample clock.

Change autour counters should also work, but I'm not 100% sure how the unit selects which counter to use for routing (I don't expect change in the future, but if it's not explicitly spec'ed somewhere so I wouldn't take my chances)-if it were me, I would choose one of the other options above.

    Best regards

  • Setting progressive wrecks output quality

I have a first sequence that contains only progressive images, all rendered from After Effects comps.  The project is PAL widescreen, which, by default, sets first to the lower field.

The customer wants what MPEG2, so I add the sequence to Media Encoder.  It records the source of the lower field, as it would, but I need the output to be progressive, so I put it in the basic video settings dialog box.

I can see in the preview that the quality deteriorates seriously, with edges pixellating and textures fizzing and cracking of shooting like camera movements.  Villain.

If I set the output to the lower field, the quality is very good.

I do not understand why progressive setting, deinterlacing, do as much damage to the output - it is absolutely unacceptable for me and the customer, but I'm a little stuck and need help please.

The customer is to put this film on the kiosks and actors in the media they use, depending on the provider, need of 5.5 Mbps CBR and progressive.  Can I ask why not lower field, but that apart, it is this problem of adjustment do so much damage.

    Thanks for any help.

    Julian.

I think I knew how to solve this problem.

    I found this thread:

    http://forums.Adobe.com/message/3780954#3780954

Which is a not dissimilar issue, at least on the hit in quality.  So I created a new sequence, but this time change the default lower field first in progressive, in the middle of the sequence.  Now I get decent MPEG2 expected output - progressive images, progressive sequence, out progressive.

I went through a large number of formats this morning, creation and Media Encoder, but in all cases, out of the sequence of the first (the lower field value) as progressive, resulted in severely degraded video.

I guess what threw me was that I made a leap of Premiere Pro 6.5 CS5.5 and 6.5 Pro, I remember you would define a sequence PAL screen wide which has been more weak field first, load both progressive and interlaced footage, edit it, and then generate a Progressive file without problems.

I wonder now that CS5.5 actually did to cause this problem, and indeed what I'd do if I need to mix the progressive and lower field... on this experience, use a Progressive sequence, I guess.  I guess I better run tests and become familiar with how and what.

  • Unit Testing Unit Test Framework when the expected production is just a table of NaNs to report a fake PASS

It is a cross-post of the Unit Testing Group:

    https://decibel.NI.com/content/message/121915#121915

I remember having this problem with the old version of the unit testing framework, but alas, it is still present in the new version.

To do this, I use LabVIEW 2015.

A customer contacted ask me what to do, because the expected output was table of NaNs and the VI under test returns an array of numbers and yet, the test was passing!

My suggestion to use as a solution was to create a defined trial user who would test for the table of NaNs. I was wondering if someone here had found this problem and if you have further suggestions other than user defined Test.

Until someone suggests we turn to JKI VI tester for this project, I can tell you that we use UTF and tester of JKI VI not because the client is in a regulated industry.

A video describing the problem and the workaround (via user defined Tests) is here: https://youtu.be/AoBe-Gw2Nzo

Question: Is using a user defined Test is the best approach? We missing something in the way that the Unit Test is defined which translates the fake of the Test infrastructure Unit reports that the test successful?

    Thank you

    Fab

    Hey Fab,

I was able to reproduce the problem on my machine and I have observed the same results. What I see in the video, it looks that you are setting the unit test. I think that this is a bug rather than your test configuration, so I presented a report on this issue will have to be reviewed by the R & D.

Go ahead, I agree that a user defined Test is the best solution in this case. If it meets the needs of your clients, I recommend you take this option.

  • Low volume after installing several different drivers. Can not find the original driver to reverse the effects

Hello. First of all, thank you for taking the time to read this message. I'll try and add all the valuable information that I can. However, if you would like more information to help solve the problem, please let me know. So a few weeks ago, I noticed that my audio was very distorted (as you know that your laptop does when you work it, the sound the sound). I downloaded the driver HD audio Realtek, made sure it was updated to help with the distortion. Well, then the volume become too low. I continued install audio drivers Realtek HP, remove all devices from realtek (under sound, video, game in Device Manager controller), passing through updates on internet, etc., but nothing works. In addition, I have gone from reading devices (under the volume in the taskbar icon), by selecting My speakers, go to the properties and selecting improvements and selecting "Loudness Equalizer." So far, which helped a bit. My volume is now 100% and it looks like he did when he was 20% (when there is no problems).

Unfortunately, I do not know how long this problem has persisted, and I don't think that there is a restore point before that time to try to reverse the effects. Is it possible that I can find the original driver delivered with this laptop? Currently, I went to Device Manager > Sound, Video, game controller, Realtek HD Audio, update > Browse > let me pick > choose the driver earlier.

  • interface TeGig, xfp remains upward with low DBm Rx

Hi, does anyone know why the interface remains upwards, when receives a lower than expected power. If we can avoid this? How?

    SPA-1X10GE-L-V2 with XFP-10GLR-OC192SR

The sensitivity of the receiver (maximum) is SR-1 10GLR:-12.6 dBm

We receive-20 but the interface remains upward.

I think that its normal, repeatedly observed in the laboratory during re-ceates, photodiode stop detection beyond its penetrating recevier but light is sufficient to show the port and no problems with frames/traffic.

but we can observe errors after a while.

    example:

many NSO-XFPs penetrating release (tunable full) is of approximately - 26dBm, but they remain upward with low optical power close to-29,-30, sometimes 40 - illustrates power (doesn't mean no optical power) by the system.

    so its normal.

  • Animations of output wrong

I've been running a problem with Premiere Elements. Sometimes I'll create simple graphic animations - for example, an illustration of Chroma capable of evolving upwards in size over a period of time with a basic form (using the titles and text of forms) superimposed on a section of it as a no-brainer. In the EP, the animation will look fine, but when I publish the video don't match two graphic elements - the underlying figure will be lower than expected, for example. I don't know if this is just a limitation of PE or if I went the file correctly. Others to find the money for the full version of first or another style of After Effects program, I'd love to find a simple solution to this frustrating problem. Thank you!

    MattB

My first look at the details suggest that you use project settings 16:9 to 4:3 export.

If you use Publish + share/computer/MPEG with Presets = NTSC DVD Standard, please use the presets = NTSC DVD widescreen.

Please confirm so that we can rule in or out this factor.

    Thank you.

  • Combine the output of Script of ESX, VM, network, storage, and output in Excel

    Hello

I have 6 scripts (written by Luke and Robert) who are used to extract information of the box of ESX as shown below. I want to combine the scripts into a single and output in excel. I have a csv file with names of servers esx in it. The combined script should take the entry of the name of the csv esx server and run these scripts and export information to an excel spreadsheet. I need a workbook with each server esx excel as a table in it.

ESX - report.ps1-> extract info from esx host

VM - report.ps1-> extract info VM

Teddy - report.ps1-> extract info ESX physical network adapter

PortGroup - report.ps1-> extract portgroup info

Time servers - report.ps1-> need to be written (gave joint excel spreadsheet format)

DNSserver - report.ps1-> need to be written (gave joint excel spreadsheet format)

I have attached the format of the expected output excel workbook and scripts.

    Thanks in advance!

There was a bug in the script, the Get-View in the teddy bear (report 3) and the portgroup (report 4) not took into account that the mode of VIServer ran in "multi".

Which should be fixed in the new version attached.

The new version also includes the name of ESX for the reports, 7, 8 and 9.

Export WMV (Windows Media Video) from Adobe Premiere CS4 (via Adobe Media Encoder CS4) gives a very low quality/pixelated output (especially when there is text in the video). I use the following settings:

    Video Codec: Windows Media 9

    Bitrate Mode: Variable unconstrained

    Width of the frame: 1024

  • Bug in decimate table 1 d

There Appars to be a Bug in Decimate 1 d Array function if I understand correctly, this should work.

    See the attached VI.

In LabVIEW 2010 VI attached, I have 2 decimate the functions of table 1 d. Each has exactly 16 outputs. Then I initialize arrays 2, 16 elements, the second table has only 1 element.

The Decimate function which is 16 food items returns the appropriate output values.

The powered Decimate small table function returns zero as the first element, which is incorrect. The first element is not equal to zero.

Documentation of LabVIEW (LOL) does not mention what is going to happen when the size of the table to help D 1 function Array entry is less the number of outputs. It is assumed that the Deimate function returns all of the elements that did not exist in the table and empty on the rest.

Why not Decimate 1 d Array work function as expected in cases where the size of the input array is lower number of outputs? Is this a BUG? Is there a solution?

In fact, the detailed help for table Decimate indicates what happens when the number of items is too little.  And what you see is not a bug.

    Quote from the detailed help

"If you remove an item from the input array it will 15 items. The last decimated table will have only 3 elements (3, 7 and 11) from item 15 was deleted. Since the function will only return arrays of the same size, 3 other decimated tables will drop their last element so that all the berries contain now 3. »

If all the tables of output are truncated in the short table.  As table 1 a to 1 item and all the rest are zero, they are all truncated to zero element.  When you index a table to an index that does not exist (for example, empty element 0 of the array), you get the default data for this table type.

  • CQ61-430 EV: possible upgrades on HP laptop CQ61-430 EV

Hello, I have this laptop for a long time, and I would like to know if it is possible to upgrade my CPU.

In addition, I want to assure you that my maximum memory Upgrade is 8 GB and 4 GB not.

Furthermore, if I remove my module of Ram 2 GB installed and plan on adding Let's say 2 x 3GB, I'll be able to buy the new memories to DDR3 instead of DDR2? I'll be able to choose how often I want instead of my 800 Mhz I have now? It will count if these 2 new modules are another company instead of Hynix? Is there a chance that my CPU will make my modules of Ram 2 x 3 GB have a lower than expected because of the low CPU score?

You have a lot of questions and obviously need some help here. Your laptop can use DDR2 memory. DDR3 memory would not click into the slots as it differs physically DDR2. There is no such thing as 3 bars of memory together. They come in 512 MB, 1 GB, 2 GB, 4 GB

The CPU can be extensible a tick or 2 but you have the model that uses Dual Pentium and Celeron processors (Intel GL40 chipset) and it will not work with processors Intel Core 2 Duo. Even the best processor that could be installed won't be worth it to purchase and install as it will always be pathetically low power compared to today's machines.

    It is the repair:

    Your manual

It does not say a maximum of 8 GB of RAM. However, I went looking for 4 gig of portable memory's DDR2-800 SO-DIMM, and they cost more than $100 per module.

I think it might be time to think about a new laptop. If you feel forced to keep your, install an SSD. You will think you have added half a GHz processor speed and doubled the RAM. It is that much faster. Let us know if you want to try it. You can get a 500 GB SSD for good less than 8 GB of DDR2-800 memory.
