  I reinstalled the package CS4 after having some inexplicable problems, one of them being Quicktime breaks down.

  I did the clean install, with the Microsoft Cleanup utility and all that.

  It worked very well.

  Then I did the 4.2.1 update and everything turned a lot.

  Then I installed Quicktime directly from a freshly downloaded inst of Quicktime.com go

  After that, as soon as I open a project to create, even an empty project, it crashes immediately.

  Anyone else with this experience?

  Many problems have been reported with Adobe and 7.6.3 and 7.6.4 QT programs. Fewer issues seem to occur with 7.6.6 (think that's the current version), but some have.

  For me, the version "last known good" was 7.5.5 which is what I have, and all THE Adobe programs work with her.

  Maybe try 7.5.5 and test facility. It is still available at Apple, if you really need to search the site.

  As you may already know, VMware has just released a major update for 11 workstation (including VMware tools updated). Workstation now works almost perfectly. I don't have accidents since then. This means that I have was right in my post above. This is indeed nothing more than a BETA version of VMware buggy, lazy, masked as a "final". Wow, it looks like that a respectable company like this would not resort to such unethical practices. I mean that you would expect this kind of crap of a company like Electronic Arts, but VMware? Come on guys, you're better than this!

• Firefox crashes after installing 29,0

  People,
  I installed 29,0 early Saturday morning (10/05/14) before the 29.0.1 patch has been published. Even after 29.0.1. installed himself, he continued to be planted after 1-2 minutes. I couldn't even keep it long enough to generate reports of crash and never had the crash report dialog box.
  
  I downloaded and installed 28.0, but nothing has changed.
  
  Today, I watched in the Mangler task to see if something came out. I open the Services tab and found that nearly half services for Firefox was "arrested." Being desperate, I decided to try to restart some services and on the top 10. I started to receive messages one by one that said that a service could not be restarted because of bad software from a facility (no surprise).
  
  I gave up and tried to restart Firefox again. This time, he stayed up! So, I tried to find the grave down for 5/10. There is NOT! Apparently, the program did not stay up long enough to generate and save a report of crash in the usual way.
  
  But after trying to restart services "Stopped", Firefox is stayed until the fairly long for me to read the page giving suggestions for accidents. I decided to restart in safe mode, and it remained up to again. So, try to restart some services both run in safe mode appear to work (we'll see).
  
  I went to the directory of App Data\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Crash reports and found two reports of incidents for 5/10. They were not in the subfolders 'pending' or 'subject '. However, when I tried to copy them to another folder, they disappeared.
  
  So, where should I go from here? I have a disabled browser that is important for my work. I especially need add-on Adobe Acrobat to work. You can fix this?

  Finally, I saved my favorites and uninstalled Firefox completely. Then I installed the 28. It has not crashed, more. Then I upgraded to 29.0.1, and now it seems OK.
  
  But, why did I have to go through all that? That the average user could do that? N °

  I own a Satellite L350-24U laptop with Windows Vista 32. I bought in October and had to reinstal the OS twice now. Still, it crashes after installation of Service Pack 2. After you restart the system, a blue screen appears, giving the following information

  I had to reinstall Win Vista with HDD Recovery from Toshiba (press F8, then repair etc.) and everything worked properly again.
  THS time, it's more serious. Last night the system shut down whenever you use internet explore (after about 30 seconds). SP2 has not been installed, but there are so many problems, I decided to install SP2, because I hoped that the bugs I had with SP2 would be eliminated. • Windows 7 RC crashes after installed updates. Initial Setup works fine.

  Everyone knows about system crashes after installation of microsoft after a successful Windows 7 updates installed.  I would like to point out that the installation of the operating system is going very well and there seems to be no problem, another that I have a found unknown device that is not described here until you go into system properties.  When the windows update notification is in place there are usually 7 updates important and 36 optional updates.  Optional updates include drivers for the video card and other drivers and also a Toshiba ACPI value-added product for the General and logical devices.  I don't know what it is because I can't find any information about it.  It is not really important at this stage because everything hangs!  I had this problem since the beta version and it is still not resolved.  I have read and tried to fix this with "accidents of the Explorer of windows 7 after update" using the Microsoft fix by regedit keys.  It did not work.  I also tried various updates one at a time to see if it has an impact, without success.  I tried to go to the Toshiba website for updates, but so far there is none.  I continue to read the forums and also sent food to Microsoft beta on this problem.  Someone can help me.

  System works fine on Vista and as long I don't upgrade anything, Windows 7 works very well.  Software installs works very well as long as they do not require a video card update.  I tried to use the video driver for Vista and it still crashes.

  Unfortunately things can get really watered (technical term) with the database if the application (ncs) server is not restarted after each pack of patch installation or device. Later versions of patch began by pointing out that right from the start.

  I would say that you have two options-

  1 rebuild from scratch and just re - import devices. It is a self-service option.

  2 open a TAC case and see if they can recover the current state. The reports I got colleagues and read elsewhere here is the recovery of a failed installation of this tech pack was difficult at best.

  1. What is the brand and model of the computer?

  2. what security software is installed on the computer?

  3. which windows update has been installed recently?

  Let us try these steps and check the status.

  Method 1.

  Start the computer in safe mode with network and run a full scan of computer viruses.

  Run a full scan of the computer with the Microsoft Safety Scanner to make sure that the computer is virus-free.

  I guess I just have too much clutter on my Macbook to my RAM to manage Firefox.
