• Upgrade to Windows 10 after that I got my hard drive replaced

  I have a Dell Inspiron 15R running Windows 10 I received through the upgrade process.

  Recently, he has developed some hard drive problems I went and got the hard drive changed but had to install windows 8 because it is the operating system it came with. So I very well, I'll go through the whole process again no problem.

  I spent a few hours trying to raise all the updates and then realized that there was none, so I downloaded the Windows 10 Upgrade Wizard and tried to go through but it gave me an error for "Operating system". It says "You need to activate Windows before upgrading".

  I figured out how to get my key from the BIOS.

  Here again, this page shows the 0xC004C003 error code means you will need to contact a Microsoft customer service representative.  YMMV

  If you want to upgrade to Win10, there is a way to do it, too - but I think you would be better to remove your current installation of Win8 & running (i.e. activated & fully-patched - including get Windows installed 8.1) before worrying about the upgrade to Win10.

  PS: The guy 'at the store' caused these hassles. Maybe you should contact the store & gripe?

• HP Envy 15-q178ca mobile: bad Windows disk replaced

  I sent my Hp laptop due to a hard drive problem.  My disc contained 10 to win.  They replaced the disc as my laptop is still in warranty.   For some reason I do not understand what they delivered my laptop back to me with Win 8 in there instead of my Win 10.  I get the race of people on the lines of support (from other countries); You should hear some of their solutions, i.e. replace the chip on the MB and other stupid answers.

  I'm trying to recover my Win 10, surely, HP must be able to provide me with a link, but I guess that it is beyond their comprehension.

  Sorry for sounding so hard, but at the age of 80, I don't have a lot of patience left.

  As mentioned on my last response, HP can reset only your machine to its original windows because HP is not owner of Microsoft products.

• Need to replace my PIXMA MP610

  My PIXMA MP610 died today (RIP). I would like to replace it with an other PIXMA, but from what I can research, it doesn't look like any of them have a tray of manual feeding as the MP610. I love that I was able to print personal checks size on my MP610. This requires a straight paper path, otherwise they jam.

  One of the newest models PIXMA come with a tray of food similar to the MP610 manual? Besides, are there all printers out there to all who have a manual feed tray?

  Need to replace real quick, so I would much appreciate an answer as soon as POSSIBLE.

  I bought my PC a couple of years ago and have been wanting to upgrade a little to the height.

  I'm looking to replace my Radeon HD 7770 and 600W PSU which is included in the PC with the following parts:

  Video card R9 sapphire Radeon 290 Tri - X 4 GB video card $379.99 @ Newegg

  Power supply EVGA SuperNOVA NEX 650W 80 + Gold Certified fully modular ATX power $59.99 @ Newegg

  What I need-

  Is there a guide to remove/replace these parts with this particular PC/case? Even the guide, I would like to know if it's important what part is replaced first.

  This is the section addition / replacement the computer.  It has a guide for all components that you want to add or replace. including video card and PSU.

  The video card that you have chosen is not appropriate in the space provided.  You should go to the manufacturer's Web site to get the length.  You can make a model of the size of the card to see if it will fit.  Add at least an inch if the card has some additional power connectors.

  The power supply (PSU) should fit without any problem.  The computher uses a standard ATX PSU.  You can measure the existing PSU and compare the measurements to the one you choose.  Personally, I like Corsair PSU.  They are a little more expensive, but are amateur quality.  It will give you a good clean and stable power to operate the system.

  I need to automatically search for a piece of HTML code in hundreds of help topics. Unfortunately, as "Multi-fichiers search and replace" tool RoboHelp does accept carriage returns, he does not accept the chain of three lines of HTML code, I need to replace.

  Both search and replace tools that are often mentioned in these forums are FAR and BK ReplaceEM. FAR is a shareware, but free to use for the first two months; BK ReplaceEM is a freeware.

• Verification of the aspects of escape characters.

  Currently I use a plug-in call 'SkillBuilders Super LOV' it works great and everything. (An application plugin apex)

• Amperstands text

  I did a few tests of certain pages of CF that I developed and ran across a problem that I have not seen discussed. I am pulling information from a database and found that sometimes there are some amperstands in data that I display (a name of company such as Johnson & Johnson, for example). The page displays ok in Internet Explorer, but it is not valid when you use the validator at w3.org.
  
  My questions are these: should I care that these pages won't validate? Are there browsers that would not display correctly these information? If so, should I make a replacement (myfield, "&", "' & amp; ', 'all'") whenever I have show a text field just in case the data contains an amperstand?

  In fact, it is HTML 4.01 Transitional.

  Now that I just installed FireFox on this computer today, I don't seem to have a problem with it more. Don't know why, I'm not changing the code of the CF. It would not validate due to the & yesterday, but valid with her today. The only thing that has changed is that I have installed FireFox on this computer.   No, no, the patch that you have installed 11.1.1.3.02 includes the 9348654 fix, maybe it's the fix caused the problem even if I can't be sure.
  It's probably worth raising with Oracle that you applied the patch 11.1. 1.3.02 and explain what happened with the forms.
  You could also try to change the shape and replace & with & AMP (I put a space after & so it formats correctly here, you need to remove the space) and see what happens.

  Paste the HTML into a post is a bit of a pain.

  First of all, you must surround your code with {code} tags. Second, all the < and > characters must be replaced by & lt; and & gt; Finally, all Roger has to be replaced by & amp; I tend to type/paste code in a text editor and then make replaces overall.

  Thus, for example, to display:

  < div > blah blah < / div >

  You must enter:

  {code}
  & lt; div & gt; Blah blah & lt; / div & gt;
  {code}

  I replaced the 32 GB MSATA with a 120 GB MSATA and did a fresh install of Windows 7 Home Premium x 64

  Done all updates and installed all the best drivers.

  Now here's the question and read in forums for 2 days to fix this.

  SOUND works, BUT... My software Dr. Dre Beats isn't the case to be seen? I did not partition recovery or DVD/USB, as I stupidly deleted it, I want to be able to use the software. I reinstalled the driver multipul times restarts, chipset, bios etc etc but now I'm stuck. the FN keys for the volume of work and the driver is installed and the music plays but no software beats.

  Hi, I found the problem, I didn't keep reinstalling windows and the driver, still no joy, it turns out I just had to go in audio control panel and click on beats, feel a little stupid after days of fighting... This must be on all the forum answers I know that many people with envys prefer it fresh installs.

• WMP-11 / WinXP Media Sharing error - HELP!

  Two PC, both with WinXP SP3 Home on them.  A desk, a pro audio (& much faster).  But the sharing of multimedia files from WMP - 11 does NOT work on the faster Pro-Audio PC; It hangs for about 45 seconds when the box is checked, then recovers, but shows NO results to select from.  It will do this several times.  There is also a NEW unit of Panasonic Blu - ray wireless streaming and a pioneer of the NEW network 7.1 surround receiver on the network.  The 'desktop' PC sees the BD & receiver & allows them to be selected in the sharing of multimedia files.  The BD player sees the network and can ONLY play files (jpg & mp3 only, dammit) to the Office PC, but will NOT be connected to or see the Pro-audio PC either.  The Pioneer receiver does NOT show it sees PC EITHER although it should and still iTunes on the PC Pro-Audio sees the receiver AND my sound card (MOTU Traveler Mk3) pro and will play to / thru either (yay iTunes, WMP-11 Boo)!

  OK, Yes, the system is a bit complex, but quite impressive with a projected screen of 92 "w X 52" h. also. "  I tried following instructions to automate & and/or start Win connected services / nobody to charge on wmpnetwk.exe (of WMP Network Media Sharing (EXE), but nothing.  I even completely removed & reinstalled all MS .net Framework (1.1, 2.0, 3.0, 3.5, 4.0), but am always errors using MS-implementation to date for new installations.  I'm really starting to think this life Techno is complete rubbish, and I need to ' drop the electronic device and just leave quickly. "  Too bad I'm thousands of $$ in it, and have a lot of hours-life lost to it already.  No matter what other geniuses out there who can tell me how to solve this mess?

  Well to set up WMP sharing open WMP, tools, options, Library tab, tap on the

  the button "configure sharing" & edit. Also, look in the devices tab, L.click on the

  material, press the tab properties & edit...

  WMP is a utility called "WMDiag.

  Download this from microsoft, it tests WMP

  In addition, removing & reinstalling the software such as .NET can / will cause major BONE

  problems...

  WMDiag creates several large reports, which none did tell ME what it is.  I'm not a programmer.  You don't mention where to send these reports to be decifered for help.  Difficulty of MS it don't find problems or correct them, and in the last two tests, he reported that he "encountered an error & could not continue", sending me to a non-specific solve this site (I've had NO idea where to go from there).  A large PART of my experience of MS's tail-chasing and dead ends.  The team of Bill Gates should start again with a SIMPLE operating system that will work with all existing software (too simplified, but a good idea).

  In the end, I spent 4 days of eight hours, trying to solve these problems: not .net Framework package would update via MS up-to-date and sharing the media would HANG about 25 seconds when trying to put on the March (then would produce NO result).  Most of this time was looking, trying some different procedures suggested on the ballots of Ms.  It was excrutiating and a gigantic waste of time.  It could have been resolved in an hour, was easy to find... good info but it really wasn't.  Too many paths, & many people having the same problem.

  Finally, with the help of .net cleanup tool and other processes long regsvr32.exe command line, I was able to fix the Windows Update system files, reinstall all .net Framework 1.1 to 4.0 and incredibly stupid boring packages, finally got each update offered by MSUpdate installed.  Curiously and fortunately, which also fixed the problem of sharing of media files.  WMP - 11 now allows sharing and recognizes the wireless Panasonic BD-streaming player AND pioneer in network receiver/amp.

  Since MS Answers seems exclusively designed for people with problems MUCH more simple (like how to follow instructions), where should we do when they have REAL problems in the system that NEED to be repaired as soon as POSSIBLE so normal work can continue?  I've always been very frustrated with the interface 'Help & Support' offered in the start - menu, it has generally been quite worthless (Googling is preferable).  This .net of all penalty framework update that many know should have been handled by MS much more quickly & efficiently.

  There are many more, but I'll leave it at that since I have fixed my problem. -DMS

  Unrolling of male/female can have a bound value from it, which means we can do refers to the value directly, without however going any calculation.  Is there are a lot of places where it needs to be replaced, then you can simplify things by making reference to the field to form directly, although this requires to change the XML, but if you won't find yourself with a hidden for each instance field.  Or you could edit the XML Source and change the reference for the same id of a floating field.  There are examples of both in the sample linked above.
