LT2323z - connect to the USB 3.0 Port Replicator

I just bought the LT2323z monitor to go with a X carbon 1 and connect via the USB 3.0 port replicator.
However the LT2323z has displayport digital connections and the DVI-d port replicator. Any ideas how to connect to their place? Here are the flagship of Lenovo products, bought directly with Lenovo, but they do not seem to be compatible. I'm missing something until I send them all back for my money!

The LT2323z, take the VGA connection, which takes care of your USB docking station 3.0 with the adapter DVI to VGA, which is included in the box. But the quality of the video connection is not terrible.

There is no solution from docking station USB supported displayport. If you need to connect to the screen, you must use a direct miniDP to DP cable connector (which is unfortunate).

  • Aspire One D255E don't look for a printer connected to the USB port

My D255E an Aspire don't look for a printer connected to the USB port.  I've never used a printer on this computer before.  Windows 7 Starter will support a printer?

It should be.  Try these steps and results reports:

When you turn on and connect the printer via USB, shows tasks for animation in the system tray at the right end of the bar, click it and monitor driver installation.  If the pilot goes then printer must print and perhaps scanning of base via the Windows fax and scanning utility.  To find such a piece of utility type its name in the search box.

If the driver does not load type of devices and printers in the box to start the search, open it, check if printer is already displayed, right-click on it to open the properties, and try to print a Test page. If it does not print right click on printer again to solve problems.

If the printer is not listed visit Support downloads of the printer Web page to download and install the base driver.  If a wireless printer, you will need the complete package to do it fully implemented.  If you want to be able to scan from the top of the printer to the PC, then you also need the full package.  Keep track of the configuration screens when you install the software.

If you still have problems after return the exact error with photos if possible.

  • The USB 3.0 port no longer works

    Hi all

    I have a laptop ASUS UX31E running Windows 8.1.

WD Elements Portable USB 3.0 external hard drive has been plugged on the USB 3.0 port, the lid of the laptop was closed (the portable computer has entered) and the external hard drive was then deleted (IE without clicking 'Remove the device safely').

Since then, the USB 3.0 port does not respond. No device is detected when plugged into the USB 3.0 port, but they are detected when plugged into a USB 2.0 across the laptop.

When the external hard drive is connected, the light comes on but there is no vibration felt, which means that it does not even turn.

I have run Windows Update and installed all the updates available, but have not solved the problem.

I have run the hardware troubleshooting tool, but have not solved the problem.

Am I right in thinking the USB 3.0 is not yet listed here?

I tried to reinstall the USB 3.0 driver fresco from the ASUS Web site, but it gives the error message "Fresco Logic USB3 Host Controller is not found!"

I then tried to reinstall the driver for chipset from the ASUS Web site, it installs without error, but does not solve the problem.

I know it was a software problem on USB 3.0 ports and a feature of Windows 8.1, but the update of Windows to save energy which should have fixed. There is also a patch available, but my situation is not exactly as described for the fix so I am hesitant to install it.

Anyone has any ideas on what else to try?

Am I right in thinking the computer does not detect the USB 3.0 port is still there?

    Thanks in advance

    Hello

I have a Tecra S5 with USB 2.0 Port replicator II. I have 3 ethernet connections all together on my PC: LAN on motherboard, WiFi and the other on the USB port replicator.

At home, I use WiFi for internet connection and USB to Ethernet to a wired connection to devices with built-in web server.

My problem is that when the WiFi and USB to Etherenet is active the internet and the connection to the web server works but vey slow.
If I turn off the WiFi and connect to the web server works properly.
If I disable USB for Ethernet internet connection works correctly.

    Hello!

It looks like a network configuration problem. Check the network addresses and configuration in command line with the command ipconfig/all.

Try using static IP addresses. I think that the DHCP server takes a long time to go send an IP address to each laptop.

  • Satellite Pro M70: What USB 2.0 Port Replicator is compatible?

Would be grateful if someone could advise me on the purchase of a USB 2.0 port replicator.

I think the 3 USB 2.0 ports on my laptop Pro M70 are not enough, and that's why I want to buy a USB 2.0 Port Replicator.

The site of the Toshiba shop specifies USB 2.0 Port Replicator II (UK) with port network, part number: PX1173U-1PRP, price: 49,93 GBP.

It has 4 USB ports 2.0, which would give me a total of 6 USB 2.0 ports, which would be the absolute minimum I want. (It also has 2 PS/2 ports, 1 serial port RS232 and 1 USB 2.0 port network that takes in charge rates of 10 / 100 Mbps).

Can anyone tell if it is powered by the laptop, or by it's own adapter?

Unfortunately, the Web of Toshiba site has advised that it is currently out of stock and are difficult to get in on all the time, as they are the subject of a sort of "green manufacturing" test.

This prompted me to consider buying a replicator USB 2.0 ports alternative and all I would prefer one with more than 4 USB 2.0 ports, and in fact 6 or more USB 2.0 ports would be preferable. I'm not really interested in other types of ports that are often provided with the replicators of USB 2.0 ports.

I would be grateful if someone could recommend/Advisor at a replicator USB 2.0 ports alternative that would be compatible with my laptop Pro M70.

One of my concerns is how the port replicator USB 2.0 Port is powered. I think I would have preferred that the unit is powered by its own adapter, I understand is 5 Volts with 500 milliamps for each port, rather than to the laptop (probably would be less tax on the laptop, with less heating).

    Thank you
    AlanCB

I can't comment on the question whether the Replicator you mention has its own power source, although I suspect, he does

However, I have a satellite Pro M70 too and with a similar problem and wanting a hub to connect to all my external printers, Sandy etc using just one connection, I buy PA3390E-1MPM - a hub of Toshiba, Audio/USB multimedia center, which goes a step further and provides a hub not only for USB sources , but also for the speakers etc.

It has its own power supply to the unit and connects via USB 2.0 to my laptop. It is also stackable with the Toshiba Gigastore 250 GB USB 2.0 external hard drive (PA3392E-1MPS) which I also use for backups, storing external data etc.

Had the two units for 3 months now and everything works fine. I got headr of some problems with people in loss of access to the hard drive, but it seems that it was never if it has been disconnected by pulling the cord out usb, rather than make a ' Safely Remove Hardware to disconnect the USB device and so far have had no probs at all

It has 4 ports, more port network and connections from the speakers for the configurations 2/2.1/4/4.1/5.1 full, more Creative software like drivers, more remote control useful to control audio devices. Oh, and also a Surround sound, and EAX

Maybe a little more of your option, but worth it in my opinion. If you can't find it on the Toshiba site I have purchased from www.insight.com

    Hope that helps
    Steve

  • Toshiba PX1173E - 1PRP USB 2.0 Port Replicator II windows 7 drivers

Hello, I can, t find windows7x64 drivers for my Toshiba PX1173E - 1PRP USB 2.0 Port Replicator II. I find the driver for win vistax32, but it's not work.

    Hi Michel,.

The point is that 32-bit drivers will not work on a 64 bit OS and you can get all the drivers on the Toshiba page:
    http://EU.computers.Toshiba-Europe.com

But it seems that there is no 64-bit available driver and you can use t Port Replicator II with 64-bit so far :(
Maybe Toshiba going 64-bit in the near future

  • CarPlay audio quality of the voice when it is connected through the USB port is poor vs Bluetooth on Pioneer AVH-4200NEX

    Hello!

I recently installed a Pioneer AVH-4200NEX unit, I was super excited to improve my car with the support of CarPlay, and everything works great except for one thing.  When I connect my iPhone (6s +) to the unit via a USB cable and a standard phone call, the audio quality is very bad - hail, very downsampled, and metallic sounding compared to the use of Bluetooth via the unit to pioneer for the same phone call (I'm on LTE, using HD voice, although the quality difference is quite noticeable on the calls not HD and on the 4 G calls).  I looked for an answer to this question, but the best that I can find mention of limited USB bandwidth and try to juggle than the bandwidth for the rest of the CarPlay experience, although I don't buy not because audio via the iPhone connected with USB playback is just as clear that it is through Bluetooth.  So my question is: How can I submit a bug report Apple about this behavior and (b) do you have other CarPlay users also be known this recent problem on a unit of Pioneer NEX (AppRadio included)?  It would be great if this is a bug of Pioneer for which they can release a firmware update, I'm just worried that it is a codec problem specified by the CarPlay, so non repairable.

    Thank you!

    -Seth

    Hello served,

Thank you for using communities of Apple Support.

I understand that when you use the USB cable for your iPhone in your car with the audio CarPlay is mediocre. I know how it is important for you to hear your calls clearly. In a situation like this, I recommend the steps described in the following article to help solve the problem.

Configure CarPlay to use with your iPhone

Specifically the section to get help:

    Get help

If CarPlay does not work as you expect, here's what you can check. After each step, try to use CarPlay again.

    1. Make sure that Siri is turned on.
    2. Restart your iPhone and your car. Depending on your car, you can see the CarPlay home screen when you turn it on. If you do not, look for the CarPlay logo on the screen of your car.
    3. If possible, connect your iPhone to a different USB port in your car.
    4. Try a different lightning to a USB cable. Make sure that the cable is certified.
    5. Update to the latest version of iOS.
    6. Check the manual using your car. You may need to install updates of firmware for your stereo.

  • need a HDMI cable to connect to the macbook pro via port USB - C

Could someone please indicate what cable or adapter I need to run my MacBook Pro to a TV movies? It connects on the port of lightning or another? Thank you Jude.

No MacBook Pro has lightning ports or ports USB - C.  Most have ports Thunderbolt, and some have even regular HDMI ports.

The adapter you need to depend on the exact model of MacBook Pro you have.

Until we can tell you what cable or adapter you need, you must tell us what model of MacBook Pro you have.

You can watch in the Apple Menu-> about this Mac, option and after the year of model here.

  • "This USB mass storage device can transfer information faster if you connect it to a USB 3.0 port Superspeed ' when the device is already connected to a USB 3.0 port.

I just bought and installed a USB 3.0 card. It is the Startech PEXUSB3S2 PCIe card. I installed the card in a PCIe 2.0 X 1 slot. The manual says it's exactly the slot, that it supports.

The Manager device displays NEC Electronics USB 3.0 Host Controller and NEC Electronics USB 3.0 Root Hub are installed and are working correctly. I have a Thermaltake BLACX5G 5 G USB 3.0 hard drive caddy. The transfer rate is only 35 MB/s using the HDTune benchmark. It is a USB 2.0 speed.

When the player is turned on, windows displays the message "this USB mass storage device can transfer information faster if you connect it to a Super speed USB 3.0 port»

For some reason, the system doesn't see the caddy to drive USB 3.0 as being plugged into a USB 3.0 port, when it actually is.

I remember having this same problem with Windows XP, when I bought a USB 2.0 card. The only thing that fixed it at the time was upgraded to XP SP2.

This should not be a problem because I know that Windows 7 pro 64-bit supports USB 3.0.

My motherboard is an ASUS P5QL-EM support an Intel Core 2 Quad and 4 GB of DDR2 memory. According to the manual owner the PCIe x 1 slots support architecture 1.0 and 2.0.

Edit: I just tested the external hard drive and expansion card USB 3.0 on my motherboard Gigabyte of friends running Windows XP. Everything worked perfectly, no problems at all.

Here, there is a problem with Windows 7 or the motherboard. Still unresolved, currently installs a floppy drive so I can update the firmware of my motherboard.

I checked the implementation of the card several times, removed and installed in another motherboard to test, then removed and reinstalled again in my motherboard ASUS check several times for a fit course.  It still does not work. I have just completed update the firmware of the motherboard with the latest version, and I also did a new install of Windows 7, install the drivers USB 3.0 immediately after installing Windows over. None of this solves the problem.

I'm running out of ideas on how to fix this without doing something drastic as a replacement for my motherboard. I don't want the speed of USB 3.0, but I don't think I'm ready for an another two or three hundred dollars to get it.

I've been all over the ' net trying to find a solution and read tons about USB USB 3.0 specifically and in general. I can find no reason why the drivers would install and report that they are working correctly, but fail to connect to 3.0 speeds. I think that this would generate a certain type of error instead of such a strange symptom.

    EDIT:

Here go us. I knew that is was a bad idea to buy one main (ASUS P5QL-EM) card that had to be overclocked to 1066 MHz for DRAM memory. I did all this work, and every time I reset my BIOS or updated it would always be the frequency DRAM back to where it should be (1066). After a reset of the computer was the starter and I just let it start instead of setting the DRAM frequency and, suddenly, USB 3.0 card worked perfectly. I confirmed this by setting the frequency to 1066 and looking at the USB 3.0 card fail again. I guess it must have something to do with the clock being sent to the PCIe bus.

In any case, the USB 3.0 card works perfectly and gives me a transfer rate HD Tune to 99 MB/s on a drive from WD SATA 7200 RPM and 86.1 Mbps on a Samsung drive hard 5400 RPM / MIN 3,5 "SATA. These are the same reference points I get when these drives are connected to my internal SATA connectors. I'd say USB 3.o works perfectly now and maxing out the hard drives performance.

    Thanks for any help.

    That's what the doc says:

Provides access to the USB port of the device.

Avoid using this class in applications, as it is not portable. On the contrary, if you need to access the USB port, use factory CLDC Connector to serve a connection.
