With respect to access older versions of LabVIEW, if you have a valid support contract, you can access some earlier versions of LabVIEW from the Service Resource Center . However, versions of LabVIEW available, it will not return as much as LabVIEW 6.1, which is what you would need for a windows 95 machine. Unfortunately, the free or trial of LabVIEW versions are not available for LabVIEW 6.1. It might be useful to contact a representative to discuss what options you have.

• VI force to open a compiled version of LabVIEW (not the latest version)

  I have a programming computer that has multiple versions of LabVIEW installed.  Once I finish a program, I propose the computer program 'target' (or touch screen) who have installed one version.

  The problem I have is when I run a VI, VI still load the version of LabVIEW that was used last.  When the VI is saved, it compiles to this version and will no longer work on the computer "target".

  It seems that save for a previous version of LabVIEW still does not work (she can relate to moving from Win 7 to Win XP).

While we have the licenses to the new version of LabVIEW, I prefer to install 8.5.1 because we execute former LabVIEW code developed by GE and they don't take care of their code on the original version of LabVIEW.   I've just updated LR CC & CC PS to the latest versions. Now, when I am in LR & use the option "change in" & select CC in Photoshop, open the old version before updating!

  I can get around this by opening the PS CC directly from the app of creative cloud first, leave it open... Start LR CC & then select Edit in Photoshop CC it will then open the file in the latest version.

  It's driving me crazy!

  You have any external drive or another USB key where you have cloned operating system or installed Photoshop and then the BOOT drive.

  I can say thankfully its now fixed I looked in my folder applications several times and could not find any other "Photoshop CC.app" only "photoshop CS6.app' & 'PSE.app' which is not the culprit, so I was thinking could otherwise how lightroom pulling up another version of Photoshop CC I did a global search for Mac for the file name"Photoshop CC.app"and bam are 1 in the documents as a backup Photoshop before I installed a few plugins, so I went and renamed the file "backup Photoshop CC.app" and boom Lightroom now only launches the latest version, I still think that everything is good, but it looks like there's a bug or glitch in OS X or LR5 to do what he did and I don't have a pre launch photoshop all the time now

  I have a large set of code I have carefully migrated from version of one labview to another over the years.  I have a lot of deployed applications that I need to continue to support.  Of experience and interaction with other developers, I don't think I can continue to migrate each application to a new version of labview when I move in the future.  Each application seems to break in one way or another, the versions do not work right and need to be redone and its much too much time to get all my apps working and tested again.  This opinion is solidified by the policies of OR which make it impossible to install older versions of new versions of labview Toolkit, for example.  Compatibility is often sacrificed so NEITHER can develop labview in the direction they choose.  So I have to take the position that what version I have to write an application in will probably need to be maintained in this version of labview throughout his life.

  The hierarchy of the following directories, coupled with a VI "hierarchical" naming strategy, have been effective (for me) to prevent "Crosslinking" through projects and versions of LV. The hierarchy of storage has been designed for use in an environment of CSC, but works very well regardless. Hierarchical naming ensures unique names for application-specific files.   Try starting with the ALT key down.  It waits for you to choose a library to open it.  If it does not open your library then there is something wrong with the library.

  Try running after have connected you to your computer under another account if it works, there is something wrong with the configuration of your account
