M17x R3, plugged in, does not support

Hi guys,.

Please help me. I have computer m17xR3 laptop alienware and today I noticed that my battery won't charge. How to solve this problem, do you have any ideas? I tried to stop the laptop and reboot twice and doesn't help not. Help, please.

Thank you

Hi lutke,.

Please check if the system turns on only with the power adapter.

I suggest that you shut down the system, remove the battery and unplug the AC adapter, press on and press and hold power for 20 to 30 seconds.  Now, connect only the AC adapter and wait 30 seconds and turn on the system. This drain any residual charge in the capacitors
Next check the AC adapter is detected in the BIOS. To go to the BIOS restart and head of Aline logo tap key F2 every two seconds. Check the Ac adapter type. If the network adapter is listed in the BIOS, the BIOS update (if the battery has a 15% minimum fee) from the link below:

http://Dell.to/18Jzj8V

Note: While flashing BIOS connect the power adapter and make sure the battery has a minimum charge of 15% as this uninterrupted power supply needs. Do not use the system until it reboots and arrives on the desk.
If the problem persists even after flashing the BIOS, or if the battery has no charges or fees less 15% try again with a known good battery.

Return to the State.

    Rishi,

Yes, I did and it works! The MS Store sent me one as well, but it was a 90 watts, not 45 adapter. It turns out that they don't have. They sent me a backup battery, which is nice. Find out what Amazon of the adapter I got:

  • My battery stopped charging. For four days, the power button says "59% available (plugged in, does not support)."

My battery stopped charging. For four days, the power button says "59% available (plugged in, does not support)."

How can I get the computer to start the battery again?

The battery is probably faulty. You can say as follows:

    1. Shut down Windows.
    2. Remove the battery.
    3. Wait an hour.
    4. The power supply is cold? If Yes, then the laptop consumes no power (which is normal).
    5. Insert the battery.
    6. Wait an hour.
    7. The power supply is hot? If so, the battery is recharged.
    8. Start normally and check the charge level. If she's still around 59% while the battery no longer accepts the full load. You need to replace it.
  • HP Envy TouchSmart 360 x: plugged in, does not support?

Recently I used my laptop to play Fallout 3 for a fairly long period. Last night when I closed the game my battery indicator says plugged in, does not support. I tried to uninstall the control method compatible battery and reboot, but that did nothing. This is the second time that this happened to me, but the first time that the battery just started to load it again without doing me something for her, but this time, nothing works. I can't take out the battery and test anything, without the battery because I don't trust myself to disassemble my laptop because the battery is inside. When I use the HP Support Assistant to check the battery, it is said that it is ok and the battery indicator indicates that he is in charge, but about ten seconds later it stops to load and the auditor of battery indicates the battery status is unknown. Is there something wrong with my battery?

    @Are_Zee,

Hello and thanks for the display on the HP support forums.  If you experience a problem when the battery is in fact showing ok and does not appear in the indicator so that you can do is try to do a system restore before the problem started to see if it's the software causing the problem.

So you can try to perform a calibration of the battery.  Here is a link to help you with that.

Please let me know how it goes.

  • Plugged in, does not support? 4% battery

My mother has recently bought a new laptop Toshiba, running Windows 7 64 bit, and I just noticed today that is not supported. I turned on her laptop today and the battery said 3% so I stop it, plugged and turned, and then turn it back on. The battery read 4% (plugged in, does not support). I did not notice the do not load at first, until he was 4% for a very long time. Then I looked at power management and advanced settings and there is nothing about this problem. I turned off the laptop and the battery light has not yet come, and when I turn the charger on / off power to the outlet, the light load on the laptop turns on only for a second and then turns back off the coast. I took out the battery, put it back in and then plugged in and now he is in charge. But when I turn it on it stops to load again, what is happening here? I know that my laptop doesn't charge no problem, what I can do to solve this problem?

Since this is a brand new machine, contact the place she bought, or Toshiba directly. No sense screwing around with it while it's still under warranty.
It sounds more like a problem with the hardware than software, and if you do too much in how to disassemble things, they are likely to say you cancelled your warranty.

  • receive battery WARNING on start up. the battery meter indicates "94% plugged in, does not support".

When I turn on my laptop a battery warning message.  I checked the battery meter that says the following "94% plugged in, does not support".   The laptop is fine, so why should I get this message and what I would do to this topic?

    Any advice would be appreciated.

It is always recommended to run regularly only on battery power. It will actually make the battery last longer to let it discharge once a month. Realistically, if your laptop is on a desktop and plugged all the time, it is better to just remove the battery and only use it when you need portability.

  • HP Pavilion Notebook (laptop) plugged, G6 does not support.

    Hello

I bought a laptop HP Pavilion G6 just a couple of months, and I had this problem since the beginning. I looked at some other forums and it seems that many people have had the same problem with the laptop is plugged in, but does not support.

This problem is really frustrating, as the laptop is connected to the power source and in the laptop, but half the time it is not yet registered as being connected. The battery is discharged. Once or twice the battery completely exhausted (while it's plugged in) and then was charged 100% next time, it was shot on(???!!!).

Could you tell me if there is some sort of programming or software failure, or if it could be a hardware failure. I have run the checker battery several times and each time he found no problems with it. As the laptop sometimes acknowledges that it is indeed connected (but does not load) personally, I think that it is not a problem with the AC adapter.

    PLEASE HELP ME!

    Thank you.

  • Battery - plugged in, does not support

    Hey,.

I bought my laptop 13, 14 months ago...

At the beginning, it appears 'Low battery' on the 15%, then new attention to 10%, then it turns off automatically.

But since the past 10 years, 15 days my laptop charging time decreases every day...

I noticed, 10,12 days ago, it was usually stops at 25% without showing any message "battery low"...

After a few days, it starts to stop 40% without warning, and then again after a few days it starts to stop at 60%...

(Originally my laptop take until 01:30 hours for 100% charging, but after getting in this situation, my load time is also reduced, as when it was stop at 40%, when I plug in, it will load entirely whitin half an hour and at 60%, charge time is more diminished and get completely loaded only in 15, 20 minutes..)

But nowadays, laptop turns on only when I plug (and showing, hip, does not support) and down I took out. I checked by removing the battery and connect the charger, laptop works very well and can easily log on windows without battery...

Someone please, detect and specify the problem and kindly let me know the Solution.

    Thank you HP...!

  • Re: Satellite A500 (PSAR9E) battery - plugged in, does not support

Yesterday, I noticed that my battery is at 74% - plugged in but not charging. Laptop not working ok, no problem.
Before this problem occurred, I started it upward, he worked for 10 minutes on the battery without connected charger.

Then it just stops what it self. I thought that maybe the battery was low so I plugged it on. After a while, I noticed that it does not load, I have it plugged into power-it shuts down as there is no current battery. Tried to remove the battery, plugged into the cable from the Jack, put back them, the battery cable, it starts and still nothing... Today it of about 72% and still does not support... Laptop is 2 years old. Battery has been working great until now.

Please help if you know the solution, thank you!

    What to say?

Start the laptop without battery and when the windows are fully charged put the battery in place.
I imagine that the battery will be recognized correctly. Is the same situation when this happens?

It will be interesting to know how it works with a new battery. At the moment, we can say more about it. The problem is battery or maybe electronic power?

It is not easy to say what the problem is here.

  • L50D-B satellite plugged in, does not support 0%. Battery in good condition health

    Hi guys.

I've always had pretty good battery life out of my laptop 18 months old, but suddenly it says "0%, plugged in, do not load.

The second I unplug power cord turns off (must restart completely when it is plugged in). I used the Toshiba PC Health software and it said that my battery has good health.

I ordered a new charger online (pending on what happens). But I suspect it's more a problem of software - I don't know WHAT? Can anyone help? My computer took upon himself to update to Windows 10 this week, but what was going on before, but now, I'm stunned about where to find still something on this stupid system and my head will explode.

Battery replacement is not an option due to the funds - I'll deal with it, if I owe to the track.

Anyway, can until someone you please recommend something I can do? I read through the forum and through google, but the sudden upgrade to windows 10 has made it really difficult (and used all my mobile data, making it an expensive and unsolicited upgrade!)

I had the same problem but seems to have got it works with Toshiba support assistance. It's what makes us
    1. turn off the power, remove the cable, remove the battery.
    2. replace the battery and cable
    3. turn on
    4. once the utility press F9 and Yes
    5. Press F10
In my case the bars began to fill and the battery is charging. Then turn off and wait 30 minutes for the battery to fully charge.

Funny, but the only reason why I got this result was because the computer store told me I had a week 4 wait a new battery and I need to be able to use it without the cable. He also said that the new battery has been the only solution...

  • Yoga 900 - battery plugged in, does not support.

    Hello

I seem to have a 'No load' intermittent problem on my Lenovo Yoga 900.

This happens often when it is fully charged and I unplug for a few minutes and then plug it in again. If I let it go below 93 to 95% it will tell usually "plugged in, charging" again.

Is this some kind of glitch or a feature? I tried looking to see if I had the setting of 'conservation' and I do not have.

I have a few days to take it back to the store if I need to. I'd really rather not send it because we have problems of the Stagecoach drop packets that end up getting robbed because we live in an apartment with several locked doors, so they usually it plant next to the door and run off and then someone else takes off with our business. Had it happens a few times with orders from Amazon. (grr)

Thanks to anyone who can answer this question!

Comment to Moderator: The model is added to the object for clarity.

Good day and welcome to the community.

It is my experience with my 900 Yoga and the Yoga s 900. In this way the system does not constantly on 1 or 2%, which is not good for the battery. In contrast, Mode of Conservation will be charge at ~ 60% and then stops. That has certain advantages, too. Personally, I don't use The Mode of preservation, and so far I have not seen no negative effect on my batteries.

    I hope this helps.
    Kind regards.
