M200 and PS2 Keyboard?

Hi, I use a M200 with an III advanced port replicator, I'm sure that connections of keyboard and mouse PS2 on the back to the port replicator to work no-Design - anyone know not do better? The docking station Toshiba allow PS2 connections that I'm using a terminal switch on several PCs, who needs this connection to drive, thanks, Peter

Hello

normally, the PS2 ports work fine with the keyboard or the mouse. I never had any problems with it. Maybe your docking station ports are defective.

Good bye

    Hello

I heard somewhere on this forum with the PS2 mouse problem but doesn't quite describe keyboard problem. have you tried to use the USB adapter like this one http://www.unitedsale.net/products/image-02/USB-to-Dual-PS2-01.jpg?

  • I deleted the driver for the mouse and the mouse and the keyboard has stopped working.

I had installed an updated driver mouse and mouse keep locking up. The Windows troubleshooting information indicates that I have to erase the disc from the mouse, and then reinstall the new mouse driver. When I deleted the mouse driver, the mouse and the keyboard no longer works.

The computer is running Windows XP with Service Pack 3.

The computer is one that I built several years ago.

    I tried the things:

    1. I tried the ALT, left SHIFT + Number Lock which is indicated as mouse keyboard operation who has worked in the past.

Well it does not either from the keyboard is dead.

    2. I tried PS2 Mouse and a keyboard.

    3. I tried a keyboard and a USB mouse. The system shows new hardware found and he wonder then click NEXT to load the driver. No mouse, no keyboard, so no click.

    4. I can't get into the bios, because I can't hit keys to vector in the bios during startup.

    5. I tried to load the Windows XP disk, but the startup routine ask me to hit any key to boot from the CD.

I have no mouse or keyboard control and therefore cannot respond to any action required by the system.

Always try a PS/2 keyboard.  Maybe your PC is not able to access the BIOS, because the keyboard is USB.

What make / model of the keyboard / mouse "kit"?

  • PS2 Keyboard (s) do not work then in the BIOS of 8148-22U. Can not set anything in the BIOS!

PS2 Keyboard (s) only then work in BIOS, safe MODE, or RESTORE the DEFAULT settings. I can't configure anything in the BIOS, and I have no video after the start. The arrow keys, touch, touch ESC are all dead!

I always try to get the video display is working again. He has only a "black screen" after starting up just after the Windows logo screen.

Now, even though I see the BIOS shows, none of the keys on the keyboard works. Therefore, I can't change the video settings, get the system to restore everything back to the "default".

I tried two different PS2-style keyboards. Neither one is recognized for some reason any.

Hello, how can I access my iMac that is locked and the keyboard will not match (new batteries and LED is blinckin). The Magic Mouse works OK. What should I do?

Buy or borrow a USB keyboard and connect you with that. Once logged in go to your bluetooth preferences and pair it with the keyboard.

  • silicone protector and Smart keyboard

The protector silicone and Smart Keyboard is usable at the same time on an iPad 9.7 Pro?

I Assume you're talking about the protector of silicone to the back of the iPad.  I the 12.9 "with both mounted as I type and I think it's the same as the 9.7".  It is one of the advantages of the accessories Apple that they are designed to work together.

I used to write in two languages (English and Italan). When I use my Mac, it's easy: I just change the language, and my keyboard is the same (i.e., International English). What I use my iPad pro, instead, he also spends my physical keyboard, so that for example if I type [keyboard I get an e. It is very annoying and makes the keyboard quite useless. Keeping fixed language I would get bad suggested words.

You will need to define your physical layout being the same for English and Italian in settings > general > keyboard > keyboard > keyboard material

    Hello

I m not very familiar with this laptop, but I think you have to remove a cover of detroit that is placed close to the display cover. There you should find the two screws that hold the keyboard.
But if you're not 100% sure how to remove the keyboard, then you should ask the ASP for the detailed instructions.

    Good bye

    Hello

I guess you checked if the Tablet has been properly connected to the docking keyboard.

Have you tried to unplug and plug the docking again?
Note: there is a latch on the left you have to move and in order to remove the tablet.

Perhaps there is a connection problem.

  • Apple Magic Mouse question and Magic Keyboard 2 battery

I have an iMac end of 2015 for Christmas and it came with the Apple Magic Mouse 2 and Magic Keyboard 2 I was wondering why I can see the State of my mouse, but I do not see the status of the battery on my keyboard?  Also, as of today, I had the computer for more than a month and have never had to recharge the keyboard or the mouse.  Now, my mouse is 17% but I did see battery messages and since I can't seem to get the status of the keyboard I think that I shall never see he or she only turns on when low.  The computer came preloaded with Mac OS X 10.11 El Capitan and I have the latest update.  I've seen another post here batteries but they were old of machines to replace the batteries.  Anyone with any help is greatly appreciated.

I hope that your username is not your real email address.

After Internet received external usb driver work ok. someone at - it an idea to solve this problem.

    Thank you

    AJAN

    Sounds like keyboard problem.
The operating system uses the pilot to clean keyboard and generally it s not necessary to reinstall the special keyboard driver.
But one thing is really strange; the yellow exclamation mark in Device Manager

Eventually it s only a problem of software in such a case, a system restore can be useful...

Have you checked if the keyboard works in the BIOS?
    Do this!

If the keyboard does not work in the BIOS, then you will need to replace the internal keyboard with the new.

  • T410 doesn't start, white screen and the keyboard does not power on.

Hi, my laptop Lenovo T410 does not start. I hit the power button and looks like it is about to start. The thinklight flashes on as normal, the cd drive is checked, the caps lock on, then nothing/button blinks. No display and the keyboard does not respond. Power led lights up; If I leave it awhile the fan turns on. Can I stop the machine using the power button, but the problem remains the next time I turn it on.

I tried to remove power and battery, power 10 button time then with the power to 30 seconds, before replacing the power supply and the battery but nothing happens. I tried to use a different keyboard. I tried to plug in an external monitor. No change.

This problem appeared after I left it on overnight. I have the feeling that it entered into hybernation mode, perhaps, and that it disturbed some important functions which he could not complete. Not sure if. Any help gratefully received.

    Thank you very much

    Pete

It's the original configuration of your laptop:

    ThinkPad T410 2522BF1
    i5 - 520 M (2.4 GHz), 4 GB RAM, 160 GB 7200 RPM HD, 14.1 in. LCD 1280 x 800, Intel 5700MHD, DVD, Intel 802.11agn Wireless Modem, 1 Gb Ethernet, UltraNav smart, secure, camera, 6 c Li-ion, Win7 Pro 32

I firstly the LCD cable or secondary LED could be damaged, but if you don't see anything on an external monitor I tend to think it's a motherboard problem.

Last thing you could try putting running a Live Distro Linux from a CD/DVD or USB drive, using Ubuntu or Linux Mint, for example.

  • T430s is not awaken from its slumber with mouse and USB keyboard Logitech wireless

    Hello

My T430s is hooked up with a monitor and a keyboard/mouse (Logitech LX710) wireless.

I put the laptop itself under my desk since I did not take it with me that often.

Now, when I hit the sleep button on my keyboard, the computer goes to sleep, as expected.

-There is no way (it seems) that I am able to wake up.

    I am running Windows 7 (x 64).

I tried different USB ports (to make sure I use a motor) for Logitech wireless USB adapter.

In the BIOS Setup, I checked to see if the USB ports can wake the computer from sleep mode.

In the devices tab Manager keyboard (and mouse), power management, I enabled "allow this device to wake the computer". I did the same thing for the "Human Interface devices".

"Update driver software" for the keyboard and the mouse says I have the latest drivers to install.

In power controls of Lenovo, under Advanced settings, USB settings, I tried the USB selective suspend allowed many people with reduced mobility. They are disabled for the moment. Under global settings of power, I enabled 'always on USB"and"even when the computer is turned off.

Then... I'm slowly running out of options. So for now, I can leave the computer at any time (it's what I do, with an occasional reboot - that seems not so respectful), or I can crawl under my desk in the morning, take the laptop on the little stool that I put there, make attention to diet, USB and cables monitor and external hard drives, open the laptop , press the power button, close it again and carefully put it back. What is bulky.

So... what someone has ideas on how to fix this and leave my wireless keyboard to wake the portable computer?

(Oh.. and of course buy a wired keyboard is an option, but not one I prefer...)

I only have the mouse, but I have a T430s and a Microsoft wireless mouse to wake it. I always use the blue (USB3) port on the left side for all functions related to the startup, because I learned that the always active port (on the back) is started later in the process of turning the power on. Use the right-click button to wake it up, which is the function that was originally defined as one to this end, even though I believe that this movement of the mouse as she wakes up on a wired mouse.
