M277dw MFP: MFP M277dw Constant paper jam tray

We had our M277dw MFP for less than a year and know almost constant paper jam tray.  Looks like there is a problem with a roller, and when he finally makes contact, she folds the paper a bit and jams. We are then asked to add paper, then we remove the stuck piece and then he said: 'cleaning up' for jams a little and again. We tried different papers and nothing seems to help. Y at - it a setting that we can do? Thank you!

Please try to clean the rollers in Tray 1 and 2. Also, just remove all the papers and set the paper on the tray guides.

  • Constant "paper jam" when you try to print photos

    Hi all

I get constant "paper jam" error when you try to print photos on HP Premium Plus photo papers. I use 13 x 18 cm and A4 documents. I gave up a single sheet of A4 paper and printed the printer self-test report and it shuts everything OK.

I already followed the instructions of rolls to power clean paper, but without effect (for example http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c01123477

I'm about to give up and look for service but the strange thing is that jams only when I try to print photos (for example from Lightroom) but is allowed when copies of documents or printing self-test report.

    Any advice here?

    Thank you

    Hi MissTeriLynn,

Troubleshooting instructions made me pick up the problem with Lightroom. I came across a statement "some other Adobe software users have reported conflicts with HP printers. They tend to have long names and a simple change of name of the printer, for example to something like desktop printer or MYPRINTER seems to work"(here).

And guess what. It resolved my problem as well. I have configure most of the options of printed model but the printing again.

Thank you very much for the support provided!

  • Constant Paper Jam session with HP PSC 2355

I am using Vista with a printer HP PSC 2355.  Sheet of paper passes to halfway through, then stops.  "Paper jam" message.  Cleared jam and OK pressed to continue.  Next sheet of paper does exactly the same thing.  Printer on and off, same problem.  Printer has left during the night, same problem.  I tried the program MS FixIt, no error found.  Nothing is ever printed on documents.  Help please.  Magic lure.

  • Major fax paper jam tray - cannot reach or find a way to take out the paper.

The small box resembles a single unit, and the paper is all contained in.  I have not found a video that this part of the printer.  Office Pro 8500.  Thanks a lot for your help.

Problem solved!  Thank you for your very important help to get started me.   At least I learned could open the cover and although there there apparently is no release mechanism to facilitate the tightening of the lower rollers, my husband was able to remove (Yes ripped) most of the book and almost all the rest, we were able to take it with a grain of salt.  The rest was eliminated when we ran a piece of test through it.  This 8500 must be very strong to support our tugging, but I hope that the HP engineers will develop a system of release for this property of the ADF.

  • OfficeJet Pro 6230: Officejet Pro 6230 continous (not of paper) paper jam error

As soon as the printer powers on it the ink carrier Wizz backward real quick (as he struggles to move) and then gives me a paper jam error (the resume light flashes and error appears on my screen). He did the same thing when I try to print anything (including the status report page).

When I up the access panel upward (power on), the carrier of ink isn't even move to ink cartridges which can be changed. I try to move with force, but it does not move (if I use more strength, somethings will break). Ink is a bit new, so I don't know it still has ink in there.

    The steps I've tried:

plugged the power supply into the wall outlet

    roller cleaning

THERE IS NO PAPER or PAPER PIECES BETWEEN ROLLERS (I checked like 20 times)

    reset the printer

There is a large black gear coupled to a white average speed on the left side near the bottom of the printer. I manually drove the speed by pressing (rotation) of North (or forward or to the rear of the printer) for a few seconds and once I did that. the ink carrier was able to move as it's supposed to, and I could see the ink. but once the power is back on, the carrier of ink was in the locked position and fights again and gives me the paper jam error.

I don't have really any troubleshooting documents on the CV online on how to fix a jammed media of ink and clearing paper jams, so I'm out of options.

    It is plugged into USB

The main problem is the paper jam error.

I don't know if the stuck carrier of ink is the cause.

    Hello

    Hoping someone can help please:

I tried to print a 10 page document and my HP Laserjet Cp1518Ni prints one page at a time, each time with a message "paper jam tray 2, clear Jam then press OK". I have remove the tray and there is sometimes a piece of paper that has begun to pick up and sometimes not at all jammed paper. Once the tray is replaced then initializes it before printing a page more.

Is there something I can do to remedy to this please?

    Thank you, Shaz.

Problem on this model.  The drive tray 2 roller is probably worn out and must be replaced. Just do a search on google for the maintenance manual as instructions are in the manual. Rollers can be purchased online:

I have an Officejet Pro x476dn MFP, which has an automatic paper feed paper jam. The paper is cleared, but the charger always record a jam. I followed the instructions on the printer and in the downloaded user manual from HP.com. I have also checked the sensor flag hangs freely and blew out with a can of airto feeder remove any accumulation of dust or particles of paper. I even half loaded a sheet of tissue paper on the larger particles that may stick. I also checked all other jam points have been cleared.

The exact error I get is "paper (title)... jam. The original is stuck in the autoloader of Document (CAD). ' Open the ADF cover, remove and reload the original and then try again.  This printer is less than a year and I come to you for more information before you contact HP. • Paper jams periodically with the HP1536 MFP dnf during the feeding process while in scan mode

Someone has advise for us all by using the HP1536.    We have paper jams periodically during the process of feeding in scan mode.

We use this machine for a 1 year without feeling the pain.

There are a few things I would check if the printer is having recurring paper jams.

    * Make sure the paper is a paper clean and crisp

Take all the paper in the input tray and use a flashlight to look into the status bar.  Make sure that he took not in rolls of paper entry.

    * Check the printer rear access door to check that there is no small piece of paper stuck in the rollers from the back.

Thus, there is a document with the steps to solve the problems of paper jam.  The document can be accessed here.  Let me know how it goes.

  • LaserJet Pro 400 (M401dn) paper jams of all trays

Our Organization has just bought a M401dn brand new, and I've been setting up out of the box. After you have configured the IP, I went to print a report. The jams from tray 2 with the message "paper jam in cartridge area. Open door and clear jam'.» I've therefore allowed and did it again. All to nothing does not; It keeps blocking. I tried to print from Tray 1 and it's the same thing; the paper is folded in almost a concertina-style and not powered through.

I put the correct paper (letter) in the printer sizes, updated its firmware, checked to see if there was that whatever it is hung in the transport of paper (not there), and I'm out of ideas. The weight of the paper I use is 20 lb (75 g/m2), which should not cause problems with transport.

We bought three M401n before, and they were easy to set up. So far, I am very far from impressed by the M401dn. Any suggestions / ideas would be gratefully received.

My first question is how recently where the unit was purchased, and you have contacted the helpline? On most hardware problems, it is best to contact phone support directly so that they can offer better, more immediate help, and they have the power to replace the unit in some cases, if necessary.

Aside from that, you were sure to check the internal parts of the machine for anything whether on-site or any debris

    Let me know!

    We have a

    HP Color LaserJet 4700dtn

which gives the message paper jam in tray 3 13.20.00

I watch a video on a similar printer and photos on the model 4730

    for this particular model.

    Suggestions?

  • I have a HP LJ5550dn, which has a 13.01.00 error, paper jam in Tray 1.

Currently I have this error continues even on stop and turn it back on. I cleaned and replaced all the wheels. image extracted ball out and cleaned all the dust in and around the unit. I got out of the fuser and cleaned all around him. I took out the cleaned tiroir2. There are no paper jams paper stuck anywhere. It does not go far enough so that there is a paper jam. We did a cold reboot and still has the error. The machine is networked but jams even when we select config page.

What happens is when someone prints on the printer drawer 2 or 3, the unit displays usually is the removal of tray 2 or 3 and then the error is a jam in Tray 1 (Manual power). We found that if Tray 1 has paper in it, so there's no error. However it will be only then remove from Tray 1 and not tray.

    Any help would be appreciated.

I hope I have this in the right place now.

The solution, it's the paper sensor. It was dislodged, once we cut down in place the printer worked like new.
