M30X-113 and CPU temperature

Hello
I buy this laptop and I have try to monitor the temperature of cp with many programs but I can't.
can someone help me find a way to control the temperature?

Hello

Sorry, I had to disappoint you, because some models have in effect of temperature sensor, but you can't read it because, as far as I know, the BIOS limited it!

Maybe a newer version of the BIOS will help you!

If there is a tools that work properly, please let us know!

Are you sure, that the temperature of the CPU is only raises only when you charge the battery?
    Not heard of it yet.

I know that the temperature becomes higher, when you work on your computer laptop, but just by charging? This is new for me.
Can you tell what temperature is before?

  • The Dell Precision T7600 CPU temperature and fan speed

    Hi all

I recently got a Dell Precision T7600 workstation that has two processors Xeon E5-2620.  I checked the specifications of Intel and the maximum temperature for these processors apparently is 77.4 C.

However, when you run fairly intensive applications that can last a few days or so to analyze, I noticed that the CPU temperatures get much hotter than this no difference in the speed of the fan.  I used speedfan and CPUID to check the temperature/fan speed.  The highest I've seen the temperature was 90 c and the fan speed has been only 900 RPM.  He regularly sits on 70 c and still no response from the fans.

I find this a little hard to believe given that surely fans should be a little lower than 90 c action!  I checked the settings of the bios (version A05) and the fan speed control is on auto.  I have also run the diagnostics and it reported no problem.  The fans run, but I'm not convinced that is the speed controller!

    Is this normal?

I managed to re - install the A10 bios (it appeared to include a few things my already installed version is not ).

Anyway, tried to launch a number of things to keep the processor at 100% for a few hours.  It seems that the fan speed changes now and the maximum temperature of the processor, I was able to get (and briefly) was 72 C.  He had served mainly the mid to high 60s with fan speeds ranging between ~ 1000 - 1500 rpm, as required to keep it there.

I would say that the new BIOS has solved my problem.

  • XPS 15 9550 GPU and CPU to reach maximum temperature?

    Hello

I recently got the XPS 15 9550 i5-6300HQ and GTX 960 M. It's beautiful but when NLB is games that it becomes warm to the touch but not excessive, but I followed the material time and he reaches up to 85 degrees GPU (then fan goes crazy, until it lowers once again) and 80 degrees CPU. It can sometimes keep 80 degrees on both for the entire session. I appreciate is when they work hard but these temperatures too high for my laptop? I can't find that Dells limits recommended. I have not noticed any limitation. Other users have comparable temperatures?

For additional info in these temperatures, the GPU running at 100 percent and the CPU on all 4 cores about 70 percent.

    Thank you!

A little more follow-up, in the case where it is useful.  I found a review of the XPS 15 9550 on notebookcheck.net, dated 12/23/2015.  They said "the GPU temperature does not fluctuate as much as the CPU: it can reach 90 ° C, where limitation of the sets in and the temperature of the GPU will stabilize at about 70 ° C."

They give an image of a video stress test which includes a photo of the utility HWInfo of surveillance.  It shows the GPU reaches 90 c, but strangled at 70 ° C by reducing its clock speed.  In their fatigue test, the GPU clock is reduced to 600 s and GPU memory up to 400 MHz.

When I run stress tests, accompanied by HWInfo for monitoring sensors, my GPU clock remains higher than 1100 MHz and GPU memory remains at 1252.8.  It never decreases and the temp is around 90 C.

I have no idea if the limitation is controlled by software or the GPU itself.  Dell, nor NVIDIA me could provide useful information on this.  If it's a software framework somewhere in the NVIDIA Control Panel, I don't know where to find it.

  • I7-920 CPU temperatures range between 54 ° C and 100 ° C.

    Hello.

I hope someone can advise me here.

My hearts of the i7-920 processor reached during the analysis of my PC with Windows 7, Microsoft Security Essentials, the following temperatures without running other applications.

    Core Temp i7-920 (1).png

My BIOS showed the following readings.

    My PC has 6 fans:

1 fan on the CPU cooler intel standard.

1 fan at the top of the case,

1 fan on the back of the case,

1 fan on the front of the case to 5 hard drives,

1 the power supply fan, and

1 fan on the graphics card.

They are all clean and running.

With only currently running Firefox, my CPU temperature readings are as follows.

    Core Temp i7-920 (2).png

Should I be concerned about these temperatures?

    Yes.

Cooling is quite inadequate. Time slowed by the 920 stock speed should not be more than around 30-35 degrees C and under load not more than 65 degrees. Stock cooler can add a few degrees, because he is not good at all, but there is also an insufficient air flow in the case of cause these absurd time. It is very detrimental to the longevity of the CPU.

I suggest that you get a good third-party CPU cooler with push-pull configuration, like CoolerMaster, Noctua or Prolimatech and good thermal paste, correct the internal airflow with cable management good or get a larger case. Report your progress.

  • The fan speed does not match cpu temperature

    Hi all

following my last post, I have a new question. I have a 13 rMBP inches early 2015 2.7 ghz dual core i5.

by running ' Yes > / dev/null & Yes >/dev/null "(for about 4-5 minutes), I managed to get 100% load on both hearts, beginning of time editing.

at one point, fans of kick (they were before, 0 RPM, which is normal on the new mbp) and start climbing in RPM also.

then, cpu temp reached 97 - 98C and the speed of the fans stops about 3250 RPM rise. Temp remains steady at 97 - 98C as if 98C is ok and should not be cooled more far.

IMHO I'm not sure it's a hardware problem because obviously the temp reading is ok, fans begin to climb in rpm, the only issue is - why they stop at 3250 RPM when the CPU is 98C? (I know about fans of older models, kick to 100% after 90 c, but I wonder if this is the case in the new models or the fault is in my MBP)

also, it of not like the fans are completely disabled or works 100% all the time, looks like a problem of software for me.

If someone has the same model of rMBP I would appreciate running the ' Yes > / dev/null & Yes >/dev/null ' and sharing the results.

I have a m8400f desktop.  I ran PC Doctor software that comes with the PC to try to get the base temperature of CPU of the AMD Phenom who is installed, but cannot get the info of the show diag.  I installed nVidia system monitor and cpu Rightmark monitor with the same level of success.  I went into the BIOS to see if the cpu temperature is passed here, but it's not.  Did I miss a MIB which is not load or how to get an accurate reading on the base of CPU temperature?  Sample or in real time I don't really like I would just get a reading of the base temperature.

You have a desktop computer and send messages in the notebook computer category. This utility has been used by many owners laptop with good results, can work for you:

HWMonitor didn't need to be installed. Just unzip the files in a directory and run the .exe. To remove the program, just delete the files.
The program doesn't copy not any file in a directory any, or written in the registry.

Here are the specs. Can someone tell me which is the normal temperature of the CPU of the laptop above?

    Hello

The CPU temperature depends on the use of the laptop and so it s not easy to say what would be the value of the ideal temperature.

According to this site of specification Intel CPU T5500 CPU temperature could affect up to 100 ° C
    http://processorfinder.Intel.com/details.aspx?sSpec=SL9SQ

But of course the internal CPU for laptop is much lower.
Running common applications temperature could increase to 50-60 ° C

  • Qosmio G30-204 - the CPU temperature is high

OK, so I have a problem of overheating with Qosmio G30-204. It seems that in the course of suspend the CPU temperature is high, I used SpeedFan to confirm this. EG + 70 degrees C after 5 minutes. 90 + degrees if left any longer!

I find it very frustrating to say the least. This unit has served sentence. I had not yet touched in nearly two years the initial feeding has stopped working. The original power box split as it was a serious risk to my health and still less damage would could have been done to the machine! How to create a product that at least that I've updated the BIOS Toshiba fry the GPU!

Needless to say that I did pretty well as soon as I got the camera. What can be done to fix this problem? If anything like that? It makes me not want / trust buy another Toshiba product.

    I can't wait to hear support ;)

    Hey,.

In your case I don't he say s a nuisance Toshiba. It can be another problem as Akuma written and this means that it has nothing to do with Toshiba.

For me it s definitely dust in the heat sink, especially if you do not clean your laptop before. You must use the jet of compressed air to blow the dust from the cooling fans. It only takes 5 minutes and should be made from time to time because it s normal behavior which, after a certain time dust, blocking the cooling fan.

    Check this box!

  • Satellite M100 - I can't analyze the CPU temperature

I am a Toshiba Satellite M100 series owner (Core Duo T2300, X 1400, etc.). The problem is that I can't analyze the CPU temperature variations in such popular application such as Everest or Notebook Hardware Control. Also any other software provided by Toshiba and installed already on my HARD drive does not include some CPU diagnostics, including temperature changes!

The only software that seems to work is the HWiNFO32 so there is a thermal probe inside which specifies that Centrino Duo processor temperature, but this software is not very user-friendly :(

There is a request for Toshiba do something with this... I've updated the BIOS in my template for a version 1.70, but this does not change I could easily noticed (or is he?)  :(

    Hello

In most cases applications can give you info on the hardware and the different settings but the temperature of the CPU in most cases is not visible. Toshiba has no tool or utility that can read or modify.

BIOS update has absolutely no influence on it. Satellite M100 is one of the latest devices and I really don t understand why it is so important to you. Important in my opinion is the stability of the system, the operation of the equipment and no problem with the software you are using. Am I wrong?

  • Satellite M60 - CPU temperature

On Satellite M60 all programs (Everest, NHC, MobileMeter and etc.) do not show the temperature of the processor.
    Is it normal?

    Hello

I don't know if this is normal, but it is not an application of Toshiba.
All programs of these are 3rd party applications and there is no guarantee that this application will work properly on Toshiba laptops.
I have gift? t know why you want to install and to use this program and why is it important for you to show the temperature of the CPU.
In my view, these programs demonstrate the precise temperature.
But check this forum for similar postings on the 3rd CPU monitoring programs.
You can use the "advanced search".

However, Toshiba energy saver which is preinstalled on this device controls the cooling module and CPU usage.

  • Satellite L850-046 - question about the CPU temperature

    Hi Experts,

I bought the Toshiba laptop 9 months ago, but now notice the temperature warms. I check the software Toshiba Health Monitor and the CPU temperature range of 46 to 53%, fan speed 50%-63%.

    Is - this normal readings?

I am now using a desk fan pointing in the vents hoping that additional traffic can maintain better temperatures.

What would be the ideal and the overheating of the readings to look out for.

    Thank you very much

Because cell phone use for 9 months, I recommend you to clean the cooling fans.
The fact is that from time to time the dust and debris that may affect the performance of the cooling fans, and this could lead to a higher temperature.

I clean my fans from time to time using a jet of compressed air.
It helps to get rid of dust and to lower the temperature.

    Hello

As far as I know this device was delivered with a CPU Intel-Pentium-M (Dothan) 770 2.13 GHz.
I found this page that the maximum base Temperature is 100 degrees Celsius
    http://www.ThinkWiki.org/wiki/Intel_Pentium_M _ (Dothan) #Thermal_Specifications

I think that the operating temperature should be around 60 C.
Information on the Intel site, you should find:
    http://www.Intel.com/products/processor/PentiumM/index.htm

But computers laptop Toshiba supports an overheating protection. If the temperature is too high and the temperature increases at critical level the notebook will automatically stop.
