  CONTROL_FILES parameter requires a rebound.

  The database may not be mounted or open but the instance has started in nomount stage and you have to stop the instance. While its always good to make a backup of spfile, go CONTROL_FILES, you don't need to start using pfile. That's all you need to do.

  1. IMMEDIATE STOP

  2. copy control files to the new location.

  3 STARTUP NOMOUNT; -It now uses the spfile to start and now uses the old control files.

  4 issue the command ALTER SYSTEM SET CONTROL_FILES as

  SQL>ALTER SYSTEM SET CONTROL_FILES='/u02/oracle/ctrl_files/CONTROL01.CTL',-
   '/u02/oracle/ctrl_files/CONTROL02.CTL',-

  I am a beginner in AE and I'm trying to animate a bus I made using illustrator. This bus is suppose to enter the scene, stop in the middle of it, than to start over and leave, simulating a bus stop.

  Now, I realized to get into the scene and get to the point where I want, but how can I do stay there for a second or two and then start again, because if I add a keyframe after a second it does not block and it continue. I'll add a screenshot of my calendar to show you!

  

  The first key frame is where the departure of the bus, and the second is where he suppose to stop and where my red line is I want to do it over again, so the time between the second keyframe and the red line is where I want the bus stop!

  I am running Windows XP that is updated to the latest version (which I think could be Service Pack 3, but not positive.) Mozilla Firefox is version 5.0. I tend to use Google as my search engine, so most of the stuff I download comes through sites found through Google, which is also updated.

  At some point in the past (there are maybe a few versions) when I want to download a file from the Internet, the "downloads" window opens and in the window would display the name of the file I got was download or came from download. I think I used to be able to then click on the file name and opens the file (or the Setup file if necessary to launch the new program). I am currently using Firefox 5.0 (screen "On Firefox" said that it is up to date) and when I download a file or document, the "Downloads" window appears on the screen as it has always in the past, but it remains empty, that is, nothing is displayed in the download area. I don't remember to make configuration changes, etc., that may have caused the window to remain a Virgin, but I could be wrong.
