  In Photoshop CC on a mac...

  When you use the marquee selection tool, a little black box appears next to the cursor and displays in real time, the height and the width of the selection.  The same annoying box also appears when you drag an item with the tool move, displaying the numeric position of the cursor.  Is there anyway to disable the display of this little black box?  It makes me crazy.

  In cmd/ctrl-k preferences click "Interface". At the bottom of the interface user is a drop down menu to see the transformation. The value as 'never '.

  Two checklists

  1. check the version of the VM VGA driver, if that's the case, you must update the WDDM driver display driver.

  2. make sure that you use HW 7 and more.

  You may need to change the settings in the projector to adjust the image to the screen.

  You can refer to the manual of the projector for the same.

• Artifacts of the screen when you use the stamp tool

  Has anyone seen this?

  When I use the stamp tool I get all kinds of objects on the screen. Weird thing is when I do a screen recording of it, it's much less obvious but nonetheless still there. If I want to make a screenshot of it he disappears as soon as I touch the screen capture key (cmd-shift-3) or toch any key.

  So I had to take a picture with my phone:

  

  I tested VRAM / my different applications with dedicated GTX680 GPU / benchmarking utilities and results all seem well, games work fine, any application that uses my GPU works very well. Except of course Illustrator, which crashes all the time when you use GPU performance. And now Photoshop.

  I'm on Mac OS X Photoshop CC 2015.1.2 10.11.3, and the last 346.03.05f02 of Web Driver nVidia.

  It seems that it is. I had the form of the word NVIDIA, they were able to reproduce to the issue and they are working on a fix.

  I'm so happy that my hardware is fine and that NVIDIA is still developing drivers for the Mac community!

• Flickering of the screen when you use the scroll bars in develop Module

  Picture below shows 6 use of the base in an image using LR 4.2RC editing. Import image was running in the background.  This only happens when I use the sliders in module to develop (no matter what cursor).

  

  Hi, I just met this problem and maybe found something that might work YMMV.  I went to preferences > performance > uncheck "Use graphics processor" to disable the GPU acceleration.  It seemed to have worked so far.  Worth a try!

• Blue screen when you use the CD/DVD on Satellite L30-105 player

  I have a Satellite L30-105. Recently when using the CD/DVD drive, it began to crash (blue screen) after playing a DVD-video or a music CD.
  Either way, I seem to only get playback of DVD-video and not the main sound track. Does anyone have an idea what may cause these errors.

  To my knowledge, the blue screen starts if there is a serious software problem or if some of the equipment is malfunctioning.
  I put t believe that this blue screen error message can be caused by a defective CD/DVD drive.

  Hmm, according to your message and you can not hear the main sound and cannot read music CDs, I think that this problem could be linked to the sound card.

  In the first case I recommend updating the audio driver. If this does not help, try to recover the laptop with the supplied recovery CD and check if the same thing always happens on the new BONES recovered. (Don t install any 3rd party application).

  I use Oracle Policy Modeling 10.5.5.40 on windows 7. I use embedded apache tomcat to test.

  I have started a new project, added a simple rule:

  I chose 'Build and Run' selected web determinations, work very well.

  When I added a data model, created two entities, parent-child, and the child is contained in the parent as to-many, then ran the project, it won't work any more. The section that says:

  • Is the eligible parent to compassionate care benefits?

  is absent.

  I also tried to open an example of "MembershipDemo" that comes with OPM, same problem.

  Any ideas how can I fix?

  Looks like you have probably changed the Boolean value "the parent is eligible for compassionate care benefits" from the global to the parent. This means that is no longer a goal because it is a single Boolean value that can be determined, it is now a Boolean value for each parent in the rule template.

  The goal that presents itself as the first screen in your interview display all the high-level objectives - that is, all objectives at the global level.

  Some possible solutions to get a goal for your interview may are:

  1. If you try to determine cbb for 1 single parent, then you probably shouldn't introduce a parent entity, use the global as a parent

  2 introduce a global "all determined the eligibility of the BCC of parents" trying to see if "the parent is eligible for compassionate care benefits" is known to all parents

  3 decide which is the highest level (s) for your interview and to introduce these Boolean values to the global level.

  I am using AW5.2 and I have a problem with erasing an ActiveX Icon. 
  I embedded windows media player and when I want to erase my ActiveX icon, a white rectangle remains on the screen. 
  
  I have tried moving it off the presentation window then erase or unload but that does not work.
  
  I have also tried just using:
  EraseIcon(@"WMP")
  Unload(@"WMP")
  
  Any other suggestions?

  Check the display mode of the element behind the activex control. Try to set the mode of this opaque object and see if the box appears again properly. Also, make sure the location you place this element when you try to move it out of the screen. Move to a place where their left of at least one pixel of it on the screen.

• Black screen when you access the server console

  We are currently experiencing the following intermittent problem...

  When accessing a server through the console vcenter he'll suddenly lock (the console not the server).

  At this stage the existing Remote Desktop connections continue to work, but no new connections can be established.

  This leaves us in the position where the server is running, but we no longer have in any case of it management. In the past, the only way to retrieve the control was to restart the server that resolves the problem. However this is currently perform our mail server/domain controller so I hesitate to do a hard reset and will have to at least wait until that out of office hours to do. Which means I can't do the management and maintenance tasks I have to do today.

  We currently have 2 x hosts running ESX 4.0.0 164009.

  To manage using vSphere 4

  The service that all servers seem to be Windows Server 2008 R2 or Windows Small Business Server 2008

  is there one or more particular services can I restart to solve this problem?

  The vSphere update, I suggest this as follows:

  • first update the server vCenter Server (you need to download the new setup file, run the installation, say I have a database, use the existing ODBC name, and it will perform the update to U1)

  • then install the new AUVS (there is the U1P1 version)

  • then use AUVS to install ESX update (if you have a license of VMotion, it will work automatically, otherwise you will have to manually release each host to put in maintenance mode).

• Preview screen turns black when you use the slider to soften ultra key

  I'm working on a video, including a greenscreen. That is why I use the ultra key to make the transparent green screnscreen. Whenever I touch the slider "soften" Ultra key, windos preview blackens. I can't get it back to normal until I restart the first. Version 2015.4.

  This issue is being investigated. So far it has been reproduced with acceleration GPU on Windows. What is the case on your system? Also, could you provide your operating system, graphics card and if you use CUDA or OpenCL?

  A possible solution is to go into project settings > General and set the Mercury Playback Engine software only, when you use the parameter to soften.

  It could be a driver problem or there at - it an option to change

  You have FXAA enabled in the NVidia Control Panel? That was the problem for me.
  Otherwise, just click on restore in Control Panel and it should fix the problem.

• Screen resolution/size changes when you use the touchpad

  Bought Probbok 4530 s. Win 7. I continue to have the screen/print resolutiom size change when you use the touch pad. The pointer seems to 'paste' and then when I move it, the screen get is much lower or higher. I continually have to type ctrl + or - to get the size of the screen back to the 'normal '. Is this something to do with the settings for the touchpad or pointer? Its driving me crazy...
