  Hi all the world-help please!

  I received my dv7t Quad Ed with Intel Centrino wireless/Bluetooth card two Monday running on Windows 7 64.  I can't get my pc to maintain an internet connection more then a few minutes.  I'm solid on connecting wireless to the router (Netgear RangeMax Dual Band Wireless-N Gigabit Router WNDR3700) but I'm constantly getting "no internet access.

  I have updated the firmware of the router.  I made several updates of Windows.  Nothing has helped and then fifteen minutes.

  When I am using Intel wireless tool to set up my wireless card, I get the error message:
  Locking wireless must be turned off and the same error under linux when I am loading the module appropriate.

  I tryied to disable wirelless lock using Fn + F8 and all the other function keys, but nothing happened.

  How can I unlock Wireless Lan?

  You are absolutely right on this Intel WLAN card. I checked some books forum and many other users have similar problems with different laptops (different producers but the same map).

  I noticed that this card make a trouble with different routers. A friend of mine has Satellite M40 with the same card and has no problem with the Netgear router, but with my Belkin one drops the connection permanently. We did the test with US Robotics router and the connection was not good enough.

  Unfortunately, there is nothing to see. The only solution is to swap the WLAN card and built the other one (Agere or Toshiba one).

  I just fixed my computer which had a broken hard drive. I have upgraded the part and all fixed so of course I had to replace the operating system. I upgraded it to windows 7 to windows 7 Professional that should not make that big of a difference. But now I have to run my connection wireless off an external usb wireless adapter and I can't one that is internal to the work.
