M58 series via LAN (GROUND Intel) driver

After RIS'ing a client with windows XP, I had to update some devices in the device with the correct drivers Manager. But after all downloads for my 7360AEG M58, I'll still have an unknown device "PCI Serial Controller."

After Google search, I found that this can be solved by downloading the 'LAN (SOL) series' driver from Intel, which provided chipset. Only problem is that I don't know exactly what chipset I have. Anyone know of a driver that will install on my client to get rid of the last "unknown device"?

Tom

Hello Tom,

Your chipset (Q45) is described in the detailed specifications can be found here: http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/site.wss/document.do?sitestyle=lenovo&lndocid=MIGR-70820

    Hello:

The list of parts below to your laptop says that it comes with a card without thread/Intel Centrino Wireless-N 2230 bluetooth, so you have the Intel for W8.1 bluetooth driver.

Here is the link to the last W81. Driver Intel BT for this model of the wireless card.

You want the second driver listed for 64 bit.

    @WalterPowers,

    Thanks for posting.

It is possible that there is a problem with the wizard for help where, you may not be able to install the drivers using the program. I would like to troubleshoot the software itself by following the ideas of SuperMario1 in this thread: http://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Desktop-Operating-Systems-Software-Recovery/HP-Support-Assistant-Window...

Also, you can try to install the Qualcomm and Cyberlink yourself. If you go to HP.com, click on support and troubleshooting omn. Drivers and downloads, enter the model number of the laptop, in research. You will be brough to a page where you can select drivers for your product, after selecting a BONE.

  • Is it possible to recover it via a USB CD drive?

    Hello

the original cd/dvd on my laptop drive is broken, so my question:

is it possible to do the recovery via a usb cd drive, I tried with a windows cd regular and that worked, but now I wonder what to expect from the recovery cd

one more thing, the laptop is re-installed once at a computer store, but I don't know if they used the recovery cd, but I guess not...

is it still possible to make a recovery, or should I use some sort of thing hard disk which is cleared by this custom installation. because I don't know if all ghost files are on the dvd collection and I so don't know what

    Thank you very much!!

    No, certainly not possible.
It is not possible to boot from external USB drive.
As far as I remember most of the laptops and the BIOS supports a booting from USB - FDD / LAN / CD and HARD drive.

I can tell you one thing with certainty. Even if you install latest graphic driver Intel then will not increase performance much, because these cards are low quality products. In their case, the most important is the stability that is afforded by the driver provided by HP.

  • Printer sharing via LAN - EPSON XP-335

    Hello

We use 3 Macs connected via LAN (Ethernet, we do not use Wi - Fi).

I have connected an EPSON XP-335 via USB to Mac #1, and it prints fine.

On all Macs, I installed the software EPSON printing and active "Sharing printers", via preferences > sharing.

but when I try to print from Mac #2 or #3 I get this message "not connected":

    What should I do?

    Thank you very much.

    Hi coxorange,

Please use the Apple Support communities for help. From your post, I understand that you are unable to access the printer that is connected to one of your iMac, others in the House. I know it's nice to be able to print from all of your devices, so I'm happy to help you to provide advice for this.

From the information you provided, it seems that there is some confusion about the way the printer is shared on your devices. In order to have a shared printer, you must only share from the computer to which it is connected. From there, you can connect to this printer with other computers. Perform these steps on the iMac to which it is attached:

    How to share a printer:

    1. Open sharing preferences if it is not already open (choose Apple menu > System Preferences and click Sharing), then check the box print sharing.

    2. Under printers, select the printer you want to share.

When you share a printer, all users on your network ("everyone") can use by default. If you want to restrict access to specific people, go to steps 3 and 4.

    3. Click on the button Add at the bottom of the users list, and then do one of the following:

      • Select a user in users and groups, that includes all your Mac users.

      • Select a user from the network or users groups network, which includes everyone on your network.

      • Select a person in your contacts. Create a password for the person, then click on create an account.

    4. When you add people to the list of users, access to the shared printer is reset to no access for the users of your network ("everyone"). To provide access to everyone again, click the triangles, then choose can print.

Once the printer is shared, you'll want to implement on your other computers. Check out the second section of this article, titled "Add a Wi - Fi or network printer":

  • HP 840 G3: 840 G 3 Intel Driver Bluetooth - silent installation - MDT - does not

    In the hope of assistance

Intel Driver of Bluetooth does not work well when you deploy the driver as an application through the MDT task sequence.

I'm running in question when using MDT Lite Touch 2013. Even if I was able to import this driver as an application, the result is still not good.

    I imported as an application

    I use silent syntax 'InstMultiPkg.exe' / / Silent

It installs as a mandatory model 840 G3.

I can verify that the installation was successful from my journal of MDT with return code 0.

Once you 840 G3 no final reboot, I connect, I check in the Device Manager and it says "generic Bluetooth adapter. I don't know what I'm missing. I don't know if there is a dependency of the installation of another application of HP but I tried this manually and it works fine.

I extracted the files and run as a msi file, is a with the command install.cmd.

  • Installing the Intel driver

After a fresh install of Win 10 (Microsoft ISO), I tried to install the Intel driver. First of all, everything works and Microsoft installed a driver that seems to work with the installation of Win10. But with regard to the double graph I want install drivers Lenovo. The ATI works without problem, but if I try to install the Intel Lenovo site I got the error that I need to contact the manufacturer for a special driver

Look in your device manager, see if the Intel HD Video graphics or 4000 Intel are installed. If so, you need not to all other drivers.

If not yet installed, look for the marked entries red or yellow, right click and select Properties, then the Details tab, then down to hardware ID. Copy the string and paste it into the answer.

  • Series LV examples do not work with the series via USB unlike HyperTerminal

    Hello

I have a camera with that one way to communicate - series via USB. With Hyperterminal, it works as expected, but none of the examples of series that come with LV gets no response. When highlighting the execution, Write function will return no error (but apparently not send anything - no visible reaction from the device), and then the Read function gets nothing (late just then, judging by the experience with Hyperterminal).

Would be grateful for any suggestion useful.

    Thank you.

Indeed, they have been included; as example intends to send "* IDN? \r\n", \r\n were taken directly from there.

  • Cannot install "Qualcomm Atheros QCA9000 series Bluetooth 4.0 + HS Driver for Microsoft Windows.

    Hello

I use an HP Envy 15 J049tx laptop.

I am facing an error during installation "Qualcomm Atheros QCA9000 series Bluetooth 4.0 + HS Driver for Microsoft Windows.

It displays an error such as,

«The device may not be present or could be ejected/disconnected from the system...» Insert or reinsert now. »

    What should I do?

    Hello:

According to the list of parts on the link below, your laptop is with Bluetooth 4.0 Ralink wireless card.

    http://PartSurfer.HP.com/search.aspx?SearchText=F2C59PA

Therefore, you must install the Ralink bluetooth driver and software for the Ralink, not the Atheros one wireless card.

This is probably the reason why the driver cannot find the atheros bluetooth device (because your laptop lacks an Atheros wireless card).

  • Incorrect version of the Intel driver causing the problems of Youtube?

So I installed a program called the "Bluestacks App Player" from a few months back. It's basically an emulator designed to run Android on PC applications. When I downloaded first, he told me that she needed a newer driver. I thought it was weird, because Windows update is supposed to keep my drivers up to date automatically, but decided to go with her when even (because, you know, these birds Flappy urges...). Anyway, as soon as he installed the driver, my screen went black for about 10 seconds. Then the screen came back, but with a very old Windows design that I had seen before only when I booted my Windows 7 laptop in safe mode. After a minute or two, the screen has disappeared and then reappeared with the normal Windows 7 and updated design page. I started the program kkkkk and it worked fine and I was able to play some of my favorite on my laptop Android apps (Temple Run, Flappy bird, cut the rope, etc.). I thought it was really cool and decided not to do a system restore, despite fear of blacking out screen / display the safe mode of Windows style. After a month or two I had almost forgotten this topic.

However, the other day when I was watching videos on Youtube, my screen blacked out for a few seconds before reappearing. An error message appeared, which I ignored him, assuming it was a glitch once. However, a minute later, when I was watching another Youtube video, the new screen blacked out for a few seconds. This time, I read the error message. (see attached image).

My first thought was "what the f *! I have not even Windows 8 is installed. My machine came with and always had Windows 7. »

So my question is, why I apparently have a driver for Windows 8 (R) installed on my machine? A compatibility issue between this driver Win 8 and my Win 7 OS could be cause my intermittent screen crashes? Also, is there a way to tell what drivers I'm supposed to be on my machine?

Here's another picture. "programs" that were installed with

KKKKK. Some of them as they have installed the drivers.

Any help / advice would be appreciated. (But don't just tell me to do a system restore / repair installation.)

P.S.: Youtube accidents have become more frequent recently. usually my screen turns off or when you try to load a Youtube video or to halfway through a Youtube video. It happens on average at least once or twice a day. Blacks usually only display on during a few seconds, then comes back with the error message shown above.

Also, I checked the website of the manufacturer of my computer. I tried to download what I believe it's the correct driver.

However, after downloading nothing's really happened. When I checked the downloads, it was downloaded a record intel with a bunch of files inside. How can I install the driver?

I don't know how to use the downloaded folder in the site from my computer to install the driver. Also, I currently have a newer version of the intel driver, so I don't know if I can install this one since it comes from a previous version. Do I have to uninstall my current intel VGA driver first? If so, my computer will be able to operate without its VGA driver. As my computer is just a black screen, whenever the driver fails, if I uninstall it, don't I faced with a permanent black screen. I'll be even able to see what I'm doing?

Do NOT trust Windows Update for drivers. Use only those provided by the computer manufacturer.
