  Use the media browser in preview - in the open window on the left down - media = == > photos == > Photos

  Otherwise, you're better off investing in one of the applications offline maps - IE. cards apps that include download (able) full card displays for guidance in offline or navigation.

  In iPhotos, you can create a page of book that showed cards with your travel destinations. The kids loved because they can now see to what extent they traveled. This feature doesn't seem to be transported on the photos App updated. Can anyone explain why?

  You can add a map with markers places, but arrows like in iPhoto or Aperture are perhaps not available, because the pages with arrows caused constant crashes in iPhoto, who knows.

  As a workaround: you could create a map with location markers page and print the page in PDF format, and then draw the arrows in preview on the map and import the page map of pictures as a photo.  Add this photo to the photo book full page.

  Thank you for using communities of Apple Support. Is my dozens of understanding of your favorites of maps are now gone. I rely on my favorites in many different applications. I can understand your concern. I'm happy to help you.

  I recommend first of all restart. This can solve many unexpected behaviours. Follow these steps to restart

  1. Press and hold the sleep/wake button until the Red slider appears.
  2. Drag the slider to turn off your device completely off.
  3. Once the device turns off, press and hold the sleep/wake button again until you see the Apple logo

  Restart your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch
